It looks like they’ve shut down this location down which should come as no real surprise to those who have ordered here recently. Like the other reviewers, delivery has ranged from slow to I think they forgot my order… Its too bad because I do enjoy food and appreciated the late hours. Staff was always friendly and engaging but I think they just needed some better training and management. Hopefully they are just looking for some help in getting this location managed properly and working out their kinks, but I guess in the meantime I’ll just have to order from the Somerville location.

After a four-month stint of not ordering from this place due to a few really disappointing experiences(orders delivered over an hour after the time quoted, forgotten dressings and sodas when we finally received them, etc), I decided to give this place another shot. Unfortunately, I was disappointed again. The order took two hours to arrive. Somewhere around the hour and a half mark I called the store, and a polite employee promised it would arrive«any minute». 30 more minutes pass, and finally a delivery guy arrives at my door. He’s on his cell phone, so he just hands me the bag and leaves. This probably goes without saying, but the food was pretty cold. I can’t justify spending my money here anymore, which is a bummer since the wings and waffle fries are absolutely DELICIOUS, and I used to order quite frequently.

This place is awesome if you do not mind waiting for the meal to get to you. Lately, the weekday delivery driver is an addict who invents reasons as to why he cannot update the online delivery status and calls you with a million apologetic excuses(read: lies) as to why he won’t be there promptly. If you believe his reasons as to how everyone in the facility left him to manage everything on his own, you’re a sucker. I liked it when there used to be a girl who would bring the food but this new guy who claims he’s the cook and the manager and everything else? He’s terrible! Lucky for them, their food is amazing. I love every kind of wing but usually the boneless is my favorite. Their onion rings are ONPOINT if you enjoy the extra crispy option. The only kind of flavoring I would pass on is the mustard(and I like mustard!) but mostly because they come across as dry. Just be prepared to wait about an hour or so to get something to you. I wouldn’t go there to sit and enjoy them but I think there aren’t many better places in Arlington to deliver. Very yummy.

My brother introduced this place to me when I had just moved to Arlington in 2013. Now, my best bud and I always get Wings Over… and watch Smallville together at my apartment, so we always associate Smallville now with Wings Over Arlington. Great tradition and great show and great food. They did mess up our order once when we ordered Cajun Blackened and Honey BBQ(our usual) and gave us an order of plain wings(«What on earth?!» was our reaction before inserting the DVD), so that is why I gave it the four vs five star rating… oh, also, Tosh.0 is not exactly an appropriate show to have on the TV. A bunch of guys at a football game with a drawing of female genitalia and a separate drawing of a fist with two extended fingers being inserted into a hole in the other drawing is not exactly the best idea if a kid walks in with a parent…“Mommy [and/or Daddy], what are they doing on the TV?” I do love Tosh.0, though, but probably not the best show to be showing on the TV… but besides that, I would definitely recommend this place. Great wings! Well done!

Tasty wings and friendly service. Was in the mood for wings around Arlington and WOA to the rescue. Regular buffalo wings were quite tasty and the waffle fries were great. Teriyaki wings could have used a bit more flavor but enjoyable. Bottom line: They’re no Wing-It in Boston, but up here in Arlington, they hit the spot and extra points for staying open later than most places around this area for the late night munchies.

Wings are excellent!!! However, they screwed up on online order(they did give us free wings to make up the error — but we had to drive back to the store and then wait 5 minutes for them). I believe that the source of the issue is that the website does not clearly translate into their store system. Specifically, we ordered 3 flavors, one with extra sauce, and ended up with only 2 flavors. I would suggest that they use a drop down menu to select each of the flavors rather than check boxes. Would not order online again — would call or stop by the location.

Great quality chicken! Fries could be a little better… And the prices are a little expensive, but overall it’s a great place! I have become a regular.

Every time that we order from here, I get more put off by them. We never ask for delivery. They say fast delivery which is a joke unless 1.5 hours is fine for you. Now the part that really gets me is they only give you a small sauce if you order the wings without sauce in them. We get the boneless plain as our kids won’t eat the sauce but love the tenders. So on a order of skymaster or sky cruiser, they only give you a small and ask you to pay more. If you order them with the sauce, they give you way more than the small cup. Seems too cheap on their part. Also, they charge if you want celery. Seriously, they are taking the airline charge for extra concept too far. We only go when we have a craving and can’t be bothered to load the family up and go somewhere.

Order took 70 minutes to be delivered when we were told 45 minutes. Wings were soggy when we asked for them crispy and ribs were ineddible. Manager never called me back as I asked. No one should ever go to this place.

Wings over Arlington makes me nostalgic for college, where we also had a «Wings over XXXXXX». Memories of overnighters in the lab, a disgusting marathon binge with Lawrence of Arabia(don’t ask.), and the time my buddies each ate about 5 lbs of boneless wings to try to out-do each other. True to the franchise, the wings at Wings over Arlington is just as I remembered — large, juicy, and delicious! I love the sauces… honey mustard and Red Alert Buffalo are my go-to, and the wings are drenched in them. The husband likes his dry, so he typically goes for the garlic parmesan. The wings are a bit pricier than typical pizza places, but I think they’re much better quality. The staff are always nice and have my order ready for pickup when I arrive. Given the small seating area, I wouldn’t recommend eating in. I’m so happy wings over came to Arlington!

Are you looking for some decent chicken wings? Are you looking for those wings to be slathered in any kind of sauce that you could ever possibly want?(tip: get the honey mustard!) Are you looking for something that isn’t overly greasy but tastes delicious to go along with those beers you’re drinking? Well, you’ve come to the right place. I was pretty excited when a «Wings Over» restaurant came to town, especially considering chains are somewhat of a rarity in Arlington. So when I was hanging out with my sister one Friday night, we decided to give them a go. We ordered the«Skymaster,» which weighs in at 1 and a ½ pounds of wings — the perfect amount for two. You can choose three flavors from their giant list. I highly recommend the honey mustard and the honey BBQ. If you’re ordering for one, I recommend the DC-10. You can choose two flavors of wings, and it comes with fries and a can of soda, too. For fifty cents more, you can substitute waffle fries instead of regular(do it!). Yes, I know what you’re thinking. Wings Over Arlington is junk food. But sometimes junk food is just what the doctor ordered. Well, maybe not the doctor… but you know what I mean! If you’re looking for a wings fix and don’t feel like going for a sit-down meal, then WOA will fit the bill just fine!

Decent sized wings with good selection of sauces. I liked the idea of five types of buffalo. I like hot stuff and the fourth hottest was spot on. I imagine the the top one would be sufficient for crazier types. My only complaint is charging 50cents for celery… Really? Now I don’t have to go to WingIt or Buffs Pub for decent wings.

New to the area, looking for some good wings to accompany a Bruins game. Wings Over Arlington was exactly what I was looking for! Ordered 15 wings half golden BBQ, half spicy BBQ, and a side of onion rings. The wings were hot and moist, and were divided with a piece of wax paper separating the two flavors. The onion rings were perfectly crispy and NOT soggy, despite making my pickup about 15 min after the order was ready. Bleu cheese comes in foil-sealed cups, everything boxed and bagged very neatly. Only reason for the 4 out of 5 is there were no napkins and only two thin little celery sticks with the wings. Oh well! Can’t wait to try different flavor wings next time!

Meh … not like I remember them from my days at UMass when they were kick-ass wings and not be beat. We got the Hanger one meal deal which for 15 wings, french fries, and one drink is a good deal. We got the Jamaican Jerk, Buffalo(cruisin’ altitude flavor), and Teriyaki. The fries were pretty decent. They are crinkle style and they were deep fried goodness. Now, the wings … although my daughter said this was not the case, I thought they tasted undercooked. They did not have a «crispy» outer skin and the inside was not cooked well. The buffalo sauce was good and we probably could have gone a level higher. The teriyaki was average but as my girl commented, the teriyaki flavor was not strong enough. The Jamaican Jerk … words fail me, just not good. We took the remainder home … we will see how they taste with a little more marinade time and maybe better cooked.

So the orgins of the«Wings Over» chain are rooted at Umass Amherst at this place called the Hangar. I’m happy that this little franchise has expanded into Arlington. My go to wings are the boneless wings and I always get the Golden BBQ and the Honey BBQ. With a little blue cheese these things are a little taste of heaven.

On the look out for a solid wing place in the area, we decided to give Wings Over Arlington a whirl. When you walk in you see that it is a tiny place with a window counter for seating and one small round table. We decided to try two different sauces on our wings, the Blackened Cajun and the Red Alert(the middle of the road on their heat scale). We saw on the menu that they lightly bread their wings unless you request it without, so we made sure to X out the breading … a good wing doesn’t need it. We added a side of Cajun Fries and yes some cheese sauce as well. Don’t judge, it was my diet cheat day, I swear! The wings were what you would expect from a good wing joint. They weren’t skimpy on meat or sauce. Both of our choices were tasty, but I have to say I preferred the Red Alert, the lingering bite was just what I was looking for. And the Blackened Cajun tasted a little — I found this wing at the bottom of the grill-ish to me. But my wing-eating PIC was a big fan of that char taste, so I’m sure we will meet again Blackened Cajun wing. Side note: they deliver. So when I am really in the mood to pour salt in my healthy eating wounds, I can sit back on the couch and reserve all of my energy for the feasting that is about to ensue. Score.

Much better than the new owners of Whatta Wing(that ruined their reputation), and brings in the well liked Wings Over’ recipes. My complaints though are that they didn’t separate my wings properly for delivery. Thus my garlic parmesian wings got smothered with buffalo sauce. Also, the garlic-parm wings that weren’t sauced were dry, and there was no extra garlic-parm sauce to apply from the bottom as is usual(if there was any, it was covered in buffalo sauce). Also, my order of 25 wings came with a measly TWO celery sticks. That was enough for 1 each(we were hungry), but I’ve ordered that many wings previously for 3+ people.

We ordered wings from Wings Over Arlington over the weekend, and we were not disappointed! Since we were in a lazy mood, we decided to have them delivered. They arrived within 15 minutes, and were piping hot, tender, juicy and delicious! We did ½ in the garlic parmesan and ½ in the cruisin’ altitude buffalo sauce. The Cruisin’ Altitude was just the right amount of spice for a wimp like me, but they do have many other hotter buffalo sauces. We’ll definitely be ordering from this place again! As for the menu, maybe they’ve updated it since the first reviewer, but it seemed straight forward to me. Each quantity of wings has a different name(DC-10, etc…), but it’s clearly explained, so this doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore.

This is a new wings place and a wings over franchise that came in place of wattawing, right besides capitol theatre. This review is strictly for eating in, i try to avoid having wngs delivered. so i order 15 wings, 10 if their jet burner and 5 of their blackened cajun flavour. Be aware that it takes 10 – 15 min to get the order but its worth it since the wings come right off the pan … to save time order it before hand and have it there or do a pick up … the wings came out perfect … fristly the size of the wings were huge, the jet burner was nice and spicy with pepper flakes in the sauce as well … there was plenty of sauce to go around(i hate it when there isnt enough sauce and some of the wings are dry) … but these wre perfectly done the cajun blackened wings would be the flavor i would recommend to anyone coming here. they were very crispy and crunchy and had a lot of flavour to them. I hope they continue to make such quality wings and that this is not just a phase since they just opened up. I had this happen to me at wattawings and also at wings over sommerville … This has definitely become my place to go for some delicious wings and while u r there u can also try the tiramisu at comella’s … very delicious and a perfect fir after the awesome wings … S
