Came here on a Friday night for drinks and appetizers — it was super crowded but when we walked in – one of the staff quickly cleaned up a small booth for us. Great beer selections and nice appetizers. Love the fried shrimp and the cheese tots! I’m not too much of a traditional beer person but they had a nice list of ciders and sweet beers that I could choose from… plus my favorite on draft, Lindemans! Even though it was a busy Friday night, our waiter was always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed while we were there. Definitely will come back again.

Great selection of Craft Beer! Best food in Ft Worth. Great staff! Look forward to visiting Dallas market and the team here.

They had a live band so that was pretty cool, but the music was so loud I could barely hear the people I was with so I wouldn’t recommend it for a date. The beer was kind of pricey and it was an older crowd, maybe around 35+. I might go back, service was awesome though.

We came in and sat ourselves. We looked at the menu and decided that we wanted beer and food. We ordered the Chipotle Chicken sandwich and some friend Pickens. First off the appetizer came out with the food, which tells me the chicken was microwaved and not cooked here actually. 85 was also delivers like warm and the fries were not fully done. Another thing was the friend pickles had like peppers and other things and we maybe got like 6 pickles and the rest was all peppers and something else. The food was not that good and way over priced. Another thing was the waiter was sitting in a booth close to us with her boyfriend and playing on her phone and watching videos. This is not great customer service. If you want just beer it might be good to come but they are still over priced as well. Overall not a good experience. Won’t be back more than likely. So disappointed. New to Arlington and was excited about this place. Not anymore. My hopes were too high.

I live close to here and I wanted it to work. I went with my wife. It took a very long time to get service. We ordered our pricey beers. I tried to pay cash. My waitress said I would have to open a tab with a card. I told her we only wanted 1. To get a beer I had to open a tab. I think I figured it out. They knew we would walk out if I was paying cash waiting so long for a beer. I have no reason to go back. Too many places to get a cold beer is a reasonable time. I would be interested if all people have to open a tab?

Pretty awesome place if you ask me. I love beer. So I love the selection. The fact that it’s always changing is even better. I find myself waiting on beers to come out now. The food used to be lacking but these days the menu has grown and the quality is much better. You can’t find that pretzel anywhere else. Some nights are slower than others but if you don’t mind talking beer with a random person, they are never boring. When it’s busy though it’s a blast. Live bands on weekends is always a plus. I love the wings. Awesome wings. Now with the happy hour menu(3−7pm weekdays) they are even cheaper. The trick is to get a five piece and side of fries or tots.

This place reminds me of the movie Cheers with a much better selection. You truly feel like family. The drinks & food are great but the best part about this place is the people.

I want to hate this place because it’s a cheesy over-priced chain corporation owned restaurant/bar. BUT I love this place. The servers are always attentive and friendly and the food is good and they do happen to have the best beer selection in town plus they are really really close to my house so despite my biased reservations, I love this World of Beer!

Pretty easy equation — I love beer + World of Beer has a lot of em = I love World of Beer. I have been here several times and had a blast. Most of the time I go on a weekend and they will have a live band playing on the second floor overlooking the bar. Every time we have gone the band they choose to have play is excellent and really adds to the experience. Now onto the beer — I love the fact that they change their beer menu on a regular basis. I was going pretty consistently for awhile last year and was learning about so many different breweries(especially local brews). However, when I got diagnosed with Celiac a few months ago I was a little worried about going back to a place that is just beer. I absolutely hate cider beer and most places don’t have many other gluten free beer options so I opt for a whiskey/coke. However, World of Beer is responsible for introducing two gluten free beers to me that are on the top of my list now(espeically the Estella Daura). I was never a huge fan of the food — my wife absolutely loves it but I would prefer a simpler bar style menu for this place. The bar gets packed quickly on the weekends but they have an excellent patio area complete with cornhole boards! World of Beer is a place I frequent often with my friends and family for a relaxing night of good beer drinking.

This is a nice place to chill. I haven’t tried the food yet, but the beer selection is awesome. The bartenders always talk nerdy beer with us and help us pick something out. Overall I like coming here for a few beers when I don’t want to drive far from home.

Good place to grab a beer and socialize. Tends to be a mid-aged crowd but I’ve seen a few young couples chill on occasion. They have many beers on tap both locally and international. They bar has quite a few flat screen TVs that you can catch whatever game you’re trying to watch, whatever that may be. The waitresses can give you a decent suggestion if you’d like to try a new beer by matching others you currently like. Kudos for that, seriously. They play trivia games once a week and also have bean bag toss available outside to play. Hot coals and fire keeps you warm outside during winter and inside the bar gives a great view of sport games while tables give a casual diner feel. I just don’t find myself enjoying other things in that part of town but if I happen to be in the area, at least I know they’ll have my favorite local brewery on tap.

I genuinely wanted to enjoy this place, since it’s so close to where I normally hang out with friends, I would had loved to add another spot on our list. But after last night that will not be happening. Me and a few friends including my fiancé went to WOB for Trivia night, and while the Trivia had its ups and downs the service we received was horrible. My fiancé and I ordered two orders of the tater tots; it took them 45 to an hour to bring the order out. And when we got them they were cold. When we asked for sauce it took an extra 15 minutes. We decided to order some dessert. Now unfortunately my fiancé has a fatty liver from genetics, and as such he cannot consume any alcohol, among a list of other things, and the dessert we wanted was served with a drizzle of khuluah suace, we asked for the sauce on the side, so I could use as a dip for my portion of the dessert. And I stressed to the waitress how important it was that the sauce was not on the dessert. She seemed to understand and we went about our merry way. Well another hour and a half passed, we decided we weren’t going to wait so we told her that we just wanted our checks and to cancel the order. Well this guy, I am assuming he is the manager, he never introduced himself, comes to our table and says, and I quote«sorry for the delay but it’s because some one is allergic to khuluah?» And then laughed and said«Who’s allergic to khuluah?» I then explained as calmly as I could of my fiancé’s condition and he rolled his eyes and shrugged«well whatever it’s taken off your tab.» AREYOUKIDDINGME?! Never going back there!

Fricking awesome beer selection is the best reason to come to World Of Beer, though the service and food during our visit were sub par. I tried a beer called Dragons Milk by New Holland which was a super flavorful stout that went down like a liqueur(11% ABV). My date ordered a soup and Bleu Cheese Wedge Salad(2 chunks of iceberg lettuce with a plastic fork and no knife?) and I requested ice water, both of which took 30 minutes to come to us. The lobster bisque was really delicious. But, our overwhelmed server didn’t know the beer menu and brought the wrong one. It took quite a while for her to come back with what we ordered. And the huge icebergs of iceberg with no knife was just silly. I actually got up to go get a playoff knife so my girl could eat her salad. It was Harry Potter trivia night and very busy, which may have explained some of the delay. But 30 minutes? My date is a huge Harry Potter fan so she was in good spirits. If we had only been drinking, I may have given four stars. The beer variety is enough to bring me back. But I don’t think we’ll eat again, and will try to avoid trivia night.

The proof is in the pudding… I’m not sure what that means but I can tell you the pudding is good here. Average bar food so don’t expect too much but that’s not why you’re at the World of BEER! Great selection of local draft beers that alternate often. They have games nights and all sorts of events almost every night. Waitress’s can be a little slow but it’s a busy place so that’s understandable.

This place has helped me fall in love with many beers. I just wish the service was better. When the adsorbs Ryann is taking care of you its all good– but most of the other gals are very disappointing. Most of the time I end up at the bar because I’m not getting my beer fast enough. But, I keep coming back, call me a masochist. but there really isn’t anything else like it in Arlington. they have one of the largest selections of ciders in town. and they even have mead every once in a while. I really love that you can taste anything on tap before you commit to a pint. I’ve been on a raspberry cider kick for a while now– but when they get new items in I switch it up. I actually also really love the food here– they have a giant soft pretzel you can get beer cheese with, always warm, but they are stingy with the cheese. You almost need to bowls of it for the massive pretzel cause its only about 3 oz. my favorite is the Ale Battered Shrimp– its in the appetizer section– amazing! Crispy, tempura battered skrimps with a zesty dipping sauce. Nom.

This is an altogether great place if you like beer. The atmosphere is fun, and the sud selection is very good. They’ve got TVs all around, so you’ll be able to find whatever game is playing without too much trouble. For those that are a little unsure about beer, or maybe overwhelmed by what’s available, this place has you covered in two ways: first, the menu is broken up by color, and lists the ABV, brewer, etc. Very Helpful. Second, they provide a digital menu that helps you sort the beers by style, color, bottle/draft, etc. Very cool, and very useful. If you want to explore beer, this is a good place to do it. In terms of food, I didn’t get too deep, just had the pretzel. Not a bad pretzel, though. Service was great. Our gal knew her beer, and was very attentive.

Great place to hang out and have a beer. We came here after a horrible experience down the road at coppertop saloon. So much better. The waitress had great knowledge of all the beers, made recommendations, checked on us quite frequently and got us another round started before we had finished our first. Very laid back casual. Will definitely be our go to spot to just chillax and drink a cold one. They do rotate their selections so it won’t always be the same old stuff. Neat place to come hang out and meet up with friends to drink and talk. The bar is very nice and clean and all the tables were all clean and tidy. They do have a roll up garage type door which allows for somewhat outside seating with bar access. They have food that we didn’t try this time but will definitely check it out next time.

I’m not even a beer drinker. I don’t even drink at all! This was just a «It’s A Full Moon Somewhere» type deal. I really came for the Seasonal Beer Float but they discounted it. I was looking forward to that, it was(basically) the only reason why I wanted to go there. What I ended up doing was getting the Flights. What it is, is you get 4 shots of beers that are on the menu, for only $ 10! That’s a deal if you ask me. I couldn’t even start with what I got because I had my waitress pick them out since I don’t drink. But, I can tell you I had one that tasted like coffee, another one with sugar & spice, one with chocolate & caramel and all other types of stuff. It was exciting! With beer, gotta have food. So I ordered the Guinness Brat Sliders. Bratwurst infused with Guinness, peppers, Dijon mustard on a pretzel roll. Went perfect with the beers I had. The experience of what to choose from is what made the place dope. So for all of the beer lovers, THISPLACEISFORYOU!!!

I’m finally getting around to reviewing this WOB location. I stopped by during midday on a Saturday to catch a match during the first round of the World Cup. The first thing I noticed when I walked through the door was that everyone there(~10 people) all knew each other. We got stares as soon as we walked through the door. A little weird on a Saturday afternoon, but whatever. We sat down at a table prepared to order some food and Peticolas Thrilla in Brazilla. However, after a few minutes, the 1 waitress there was still hanging out with another table. After a few more minutes of being one of the only tables there and still not getting service, I went to the bar to order the drinks, rather than rely on the waitress, who clearly saw we were there. We ordered our 3 pints of the World Cup deliciousness and went back to the table. After another few minutes, we had to physically walk to the waitress to get her attention to order food. The food is the same thing you’re accustomed to in a pub. Typical, greasy, and satisfying. It’s definitely something you have to throw a beer or seven on top of. After 15 minutes or so of watching the WC half and still receiving stares from the locals, we tossed our money down and went on our way. We’ll be back to a WOB, but probably not this location on a Saturday midday.

Before World of Beer(WOB) came to Arlington, I didn’t know an «IPA» from a Chevrolet. Now, I’m a member of their«500 club». Just like the name implies, I’ve had over 500DIFFERENT beers from all over the world. Once you attain that level, they give you a nice collared shirt with the WOB logo(done tastefully) and they give you a «party credit» which covers beer and catered food of your choice. I invited about 10 friends and it was great fun for all. There are also awards at other levels. 50, 100, 250, 750, etc… When you hit 100, they give you a HUGE beer mug which you can get filled on Sundays for $ 1. They usually offer 2 beers to choose from on this, but they have always been good choices. While not a «brewmaster», my knowledge of beer has vastly increased. This is primarily because their staff have been well trained about beer and freely share that knowledge with you. My wife and I have been going once or twice per week since they opened. She is well on her way to 500 too. Also, we have seen a TREMENDOUSIMPROVEMENT in the food. At times, we actually go there for the food. The live entertainment is good and the games are fun too. I guess the only negative is the price of the beer. If you are on a tight budget, make sure to ask the price of a beer before ordering. Otherwise, you could go into«sticker shock» when the bill comes. Having said that, most of these beers are not mass produced«NASCAR» beers(read Coors-Bud-Miller, etc.) and I’m sure they cost way more to produce and distribute. But I think they are well worth it. I would also like to see better chairs at their tables. The ones at the bar are great and have backs, while the ones at the tables are really padded stools with no back support. All in all, WOB a GREAT place.
