Pizza like you’re in Italy — individual pies with simple toppings and floppy crusts. Lots of new pizza places are popping up with this style of pizza and it’s quite good, but maybe unexpected if it’s your first time. Ambiance in the place is loud and busy, but is nicely done with wood and black-painted metals. Netflix on the big screen in the dining room to entertain the kids and adults. No kids menu, however, so they should like the ‘za or choose a basic pasta.

Amazing pizza and service! My family grew up in the area and we were visiting family for a wedding. I was asking everyone about the best pizza in New York and we were sent here. We were not disappointed. It wasn’t wasn’t we were expecting but everything was out of the world. Our waitress Faith made us feel so special and taken care of. She really made the experience!

Fabulous food without the pretense. With an amazingly friendly and fun staff, Fortina has the formula for a great relaxed evening. We started with the Wood-Fired Bone Marrow, Fried Meat Balls and an assortment of Wood Fired vegetables. All were delicious, but the bone marrow was especially amazing. Dinner was the Wood-Fired Paccheri and the Wood Roasted Bronzno. All very very good. If you haven’t been to Fortina, you are missing a real gem.

We love Fortina. I’m almost afraid to write a review in fear that this place will become more popular. There are times that I’ve had to wait up to 2 hours for a table and the hostess never knows when one is going to free up, but if you’re willing to wait, they’ll be sure to make it up to you(sometimes with free food!!). We love the arugula salad and any of their pizzas are delish!

My sister is always taking me to new places when I visit New York and this one was tucked away in a little shopping plaza. There wasn’t a wait, we got there around 7pm in the evening on a weekday. They had a highchair for my nephew and we had super service. The suggestions for appetizers for made for us and then we tried their pizza. If you ever wanted a chance to try bone marrow this would be the place to do it. I have had marrow before so I was able to compare it and this one was super flavorful and melted onto the toasted bread they gave so you could spread it on. The pizza as perfectly crisp and not burned on the bottom and of course the tartufo there was delish. I can never find tartufo out in Los Angeles so anytime there the opportunity in NY I am all about it.

The pizza is quite good. But it took an hour and 40 minutes for 1 appetizer and two pizzas for a table of 6 at 5:20. I wouldn’t usually care but when you have two small children and you purposefully go early and order promptly, it’s kind of a drag. Would come here again, but only after I forget about how long it took for our food to come. This is not a knock on the waiter, just their organization. Got to fire those pizzas promptly. The truth is that there’s a lot of competition for wood fire pizza in these parts, so I would rather go somewhere that has their whole act together.

The place is trying hard to be hip. Waiters are so «cool» that they ignore you most of the time. Music is ridiculously loud, pizza is way overpriced and not worth the long wait at all. Yuck.

I’ve been to Fortina twice now. My first visit was good but unremarkable — my boyfriend and I both ordered a pizza, which we enjoyed. We came back for a special occasion with our parents a few months later. Music was playing so loudly that we couldn’t hear each other speak from across the table. Everyone enjoyed their meal(most people got the pizzas and I tried a few bites — they were very good), but the service was a mess. My food didn’t come out with the rest of the table’s meals. I waited about 10 minutes and then asked a waiter about it. He said he’d look into it. We had to ask three people before it actually came out. While I enjoyed my pasta, everyone was done with their meal when it arrived. No one apologized for this mistake. It also took forever to get our check — we sat for about 20 minutes after finishing our meal before anyone came over to ask how it was/if we wanted a check, etc. While the food was good, I was really disappointed in the service. It put a damper on what was supposed to be a special occasion.

I’ve been wanting to try Fortina for quite a while(the first time I attempted I had to leave due to the fact there wasn’t a parking spot to be had). I really don’t know what all the hype is about. The food just wasn’t that spectacular and it’s over priced. We found the service to be good. We were enthusiastically greeted at the door and seated right away. Our server was a very nice guy. Our water glasses never went dry. Fortina is in a nice space, but it’s very loud. We started with the arugula salad. It was incredibly salty and tart. It would have been perfect if it wasn’t for the heavy hand with the seasonings and dressing. I had the margherita pizza. I’ve had much better elsewhere. The«sauce» was thin and watery with little taste. There were a few blobs of chewy mozzarella and few basil leaves on top. They left a very wide crust(I prefer my toppings to spread closer to the edge). The overwhelming flavor you get is of the burnt crust. My husband had the tenderoni pizza(which came out well before mine). He said is was just OK. I was disappointed to say the least. I’ll stick to other places when I want brick oven pizza.

Nice menu and good service but the realisation/the making of the recipe is so so. Got burrata for appetizer: burrata good have been better, served on good bread and too much apricot sauce. Then mushroom pizza kind of saty and bland at the same time. Side of asparagus grilled too long and too salty. Will I dare having a dessert so save the meal?

3.5. I guess it’s a hit or miss. I went there for pizza in the past and it was really good, a bit pricey but great taste. Today for lunch i decided to try the raviolis. wrong choice! 5 small raviolis in a tomato sauce or soup i would say! For 15 $! It was ridiculous. Try the pizzas or burrata instead

. What a a fantastic testaurant! La Fortuna is a find waiting for your taste buds. The Chef Christian has created a menu, some from his Mama’s recipes that are beyond the word yum. It is a delightful dining experience that begins with the attentive cuat9mer service a from Joe and Kaitlinand Joe(owners friend) who introduced himself. I am highly recommending this restaurant and want to return again and again. They also introduced us to a wonderful appetizer and 2 delicious desserts. Thank you for the wonderful experience La Fortina!!! Grazi!

I think this place is one of the better spots in westchester. I’ve had some pasta dishes, as well as some of the pizzas. Some interesting drinks as well. Certainly crowded though, either make a reservation or be prepared to wait!

You’ve probably heard about this place, because it is absolutely out of this universe awesome. Yes, it’s a little pricey. Yes, it’s got a bit of a hipster vibe. But you know what else it has? AMAZING food. The pizza is off the charts, the apps are killer. And the drinks are also fantastic. They have a version of an old fashioned that gives me goosebumps. So good. Decent beer selection, but it’s mostly bottled and kinda pricey. It gets super packed on weekends, so call ahead and get a resi if possible. It’s worth it, trust me. But seriously, go to this place. Get the Luigi Bianco pizza. It will change your life. Take your date here! Even if the date sucks, the pizza will still be amazing.

No. Nuh Nuh. Nope. Don’t like to be called«Bruh» «Man» or «Dude» by a Millenial in a do-rag who brings me the wrong food in a noisy atmosphere.

We were excited because these restaurants have generally good reviews. The pizza was OK — it was small but the taste was fresh and good, charred crust. However, was on the cold side when served. The appetizers were a waste of money. We had to chop the house salad ourselves because the«chef» gave us romaine cuts fit for a slop bucket. The to-go container wasn’t even half way closed and fell all out when tried to get out of the bag. «Garlic bread» was awful. Save $ 10 and get Alexia. Their«famous» fried meatballs had good flavor but were rubbery in texture. Finally, if you care at all to go to a restaurant and NOT feel like a caged chicken when walking in, STAYAWAY. Eating in or carrying out of this place on a Friday or Saturday is for the birds. Overcrowded, poorly laid out interior seating and clientele who forget they live in a civil society make for a horrible experience and ambiance. Staff doesn’t help and adds to the problem because they’re too cool to care.

Foods amazing, as advertised. Wait staff are accommodating. The environment itself is very warm. We will be trying the Stamford location when it opens. Good on y’all for killing it with the business. Update**** The overbooking was unusual and an accident. Communication was key. Thank you for making it up to us. We will be regulars.

Group of us went for a night out. Sat us in the most uncomfortable spot in the place. The 4 of us sitting in the aisle constantly had waitstaff bumping and shoving our chairs. 4 out of 10 ordered wine as we arrived, didn’t get them for almost a half hour. Then the other drinks for the party didn’t come for another 15 mins after that. Staff was dressed like they worked on a farm. And they have some sassy attitudes on top of that. When asked about when food and drinks were coming(since we were parched and starved!) we received attitudes. Did not recommend this place to anyone who asked me how dinner was.
