We ate here Sunday night around seven pm. As soon as we walked in my first note was OUTOFTURKEY. Interestingly enough, they were the last time I came in as well. Not good service at all. The table next to me sat down after us, yet they ate 15 minutes before we did because… Drum roll… They had a decent server. Food was good but service and management needs to improve.

Service was excellent. The BBQ was not worth the stop. Can u say dry like beef jerky. Smoked chicken was good and was the only thing I ate. Better bbq to be had elsewhere.

Loooove this restaurant! We eat here a lot and have never had a bad meal. The meat has a wonderful smoked flavor and is very tender. The sides are delish as well. Love the sweet and smokey bbq sauce. Order the center cut beef plate! It’s delish! We also get carry out a lot and enjoy it very much!

We make it a point to stop here on our travels. The staff is exceptional and the BBQ some of the best ever.(and I’m from KC). The pork chunks are moist and tender and smoky. Nice selection of sauces. Grilled bun is a nice touch. Cole slaw is fresh, crispy and not heavy with dressing. French fries are standard smooth cut but always hot and not greasy. Can’t go wrong here.

My dinning companion and I stopped into this restaurant for lunch. A young lady named Melissa, who was our waitress is the only reason I am not giveing this restaurant a lower rating. She was courteous and attentive. If I return I will ask for her to be my waitress again. The food however leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a two meat platter. Beef and pork with baked beans and a potato. Neither the beef or the pork was warm. They both tasted as though they were reheated from the day before in a microwave as they were dry. Further, they tasted so similar I had trouble distinguishing the meats from each other. The baked potato was good but the baked beans were great. I really enjoyed them. I also received a piece of garlic toast with my meal that was excellent. Still with the proteins so bland and unappealing I was unimpressed.

I recently had lunch here with some of the girls from work. This place is very casual and family friendly. It is decorated with plenty of country décor… window treatments made of bandanas and lassos on the walls. It’s cute. The food is what you might expect from a BBQ joint. Several different smoked meats and a variety of sides you might find at any good family BBQ. I had the turkey luncheon plate, which is a great value for around $ 8.00. I always get the lunch plate for both lunch or dinner, as I believe the only difference to the dinner plate(besides the higher price) is three extra ounces of meat, which I don’t need considering the portion of the lunch plate is more than enough. The turkey was all white meat and had a great smokey flavor. I paired it with the spicy BBQ sauce, which is one of several different sauces to choose from. For my two sides, I chose fried okra and sweet potato fries. It also came with two pieces of garlic bread. Everything hit the spot, and I cleared my plate to prove it!

Worst BBQ I’ve ever eaten, and I’m a road warrior who has eaten BBQ all over the US. Ordered the sausage platter with okra and cole slaw. After 5 minutes got my food. Got potato salad and way over cooked corn. Corn looked like it had been in the steam table for a week. Waitress was obviously suffering from HEADUPA55 syndrome. After waiting another 5 minutes finally got my cole slaw and then about 3 min. later got my okra… Can you say over cooked kibble? About 50% of the pieces of sausage had bone in it. 4 of the 6 sauses all tasted the same, the spicy was not at all spicy whatsoever! Will NOT be back, and will NOT recommend! Want good ‘que? Go down south!

I’m eaten at this location on many occasions, but most recently this past Sunday. Arnold was the original location for this restaurant, even though it has since moved to a different location in Arnold, right next door to Applebee’s. The food and service here have always been good. There’s almost never a wait to eat here, even if the place appears to be busy. The prices are very affordable, and the portions are a good size. I’ve had the turkey, pulled bork, beef, ribs, and chicken before. All of them are quite good. You can order the luncheon size portions for dinner if you want, and it’s usually plenty of food, as each one come with two sides, plus two pieces of bread. They have all of the different sauces on the table, so you can add as much or as little as you want. It’s a smart idea to not include any on the meat, as how much any given person wants varies. Overall, Bandana’s is a great place to eat if you’re looking for good BBQ at an affordable price.

Bandanas is a bit over priced for what you get. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly, but the cost of the food is what lowers the rating.

I used to go to Bandana’s all the time when the restaurant used to be only one single family owned place when I was younger, off of Jeffco Blvd where the old Pantera’s used to be at. They used to have the best bread pudding for dessert, but that is now retired. Since they went corporate, the formula hasn’t changed much. Their service is always quick and professional and they are almost always prompt with drink refills. Their meat is smoked in a real BBQ pit and once you step in their doors, you can smell the smoke coming into the restaurant lobby area. They also have a wide variety of different flavors of BBQ sauce right on hand. My favorite is always the sweet and smokey, has been ever since my first visit to the place. One quick side note: I am noticing that their portion sizes are starting to decrease as time goes on, but that is a trend for most of the restaurants nowadays.

My partner and I went to this venue and were very pleased with the friendly service and quick delivery of our food. The food had a great barbecue flavor. I ordered ribs and pork,. my partner chicken and ribs. The pulled pork had a great smoked undertone, as did the chicken, the ribs came pre cut and were well spiced, cooked, and easy to eat and quite meaty. The bread was fresh, which is rare in barbecue joints. The décor was kitschy, and we enjoyed it greatly. We were given plenty to eat, with good sides, and left the place happy.

Great BBQ Ribs ^,^ a bit messy, but it’s ok. I had pick 3 for 16.99 with Ribs, Chicken and Turkey. My husband had potato loaded pulled pork or beef. I’m not a fan of their turkey. It wasn’t like what I’m expecting like at my husband Grand Ma Thanks Giving Turkey. But every thing was good other than.

I keep trying several of the different locations for Bandana’s…and still the same. EEK. I know everyone has different taste and if you talk to the real BBQ folks in town they all agree… this is not the place for good BBQ. Fast food style. Over cooked and there are much better place to spend a dollar. If you want some thing fast and easy… then you should be happy… I’m sure you will also like the McRib as well.

Absolute delish! Very family friendly. No outdoor seating. :(But, the BBQ is good! The applesauce was chunky, but quite good! There are different kinds of sauces on each table. The meat doesn’t come with any sauce. The meat is tender & very very good! The potato salad was so-so, & the service was fast. Price was not sooo bad! The meal was worth every penny!

When I think St. Louis BBQ, I think Bandana’s! It is a great place for lunch. The BBQ sauce is at the table for you so you don’t have to worry about which sauce to order. You order the meal/meat, they bring it to you, and you pick out the type and amount to put on your meal. I was disappointed when they introduced two new sauces and removed the hot sauce from the table, but it still exists, you just have to ask for it. There are many sides options and they are all great. Don’t forget the sweet tea!
