Culver’s

One of the Best fast food places around. Ignore the crazy from Minnesota. The are all nuts up there.

There are only a handful of fast food places I frequent, and even fewer places where I will eat a burger. I’ve never been a huge fan of burgers… You know how everyone usually has a food item they cannot eat due to a texture thing? Well, hamburger meat is mine. The butter burgers at Culver’s are a weird exception to this rule for me. I guess the butter makes it that much better?
Culver’s has several options when it comes to the type of burger you’re craving. Besides the different sized patties to choose from, they offer cheddar and bacon, deluxe with all the garden toppings, sourdough melts, and my favorite… mushroom and swiss, among others. They also serve a variety of fish, chicken, entrée salads, etc. I’ve tried many of their sides and have found them all to be very tasty. Some of the options to choose from are regular or sweet potato fries, mashed potatoes with gravy, cheese curds (yum!), side salads, and soup… a great variety.
Moving on to the desserts… Culver’s is my favorite choice when I don’t want to drive to Ted Drewes for a frozen custard fix. They have sundaes, shakes, malts, concrete mixers, and more, along with every topping you could possibly want. I love the chocolate custard mixed with brownie pieces or cookie dough.
Culver’s is a great family friendly place that is a step above some of the other fast food joints. If you’re going to settle on an artery clogging meal, it’s a great choice.

Well apparently there is a big difference between Culver locations. The staff was all very nice and helpful — I went thru the drive-​thru and I missed Lent which is the one time a year most culver’s have Walleye — if you are in MN they will have it just a little longer sometimes. I went with two cod dinners… the fries are bad – eeeckkk can skip those the fish was non-​eventful – no flavor at all… it is like they don’t put any seasoning on the coating… AND my sweet tea was waaaayyyyyyy too sweet… I really enjoy culvers usually but think I will bypass this location from here on out or stick with a butter burger next time…

Culver’s is in my top two as far as fast food places. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything here that wasn’t good. The burgers and fries are very good, as is the chicken sandwich. It always seems to be jammed with people but they do a good job to provide quick service. My favorite part about Culver’s is the dessert. They have great concrete’s and are always sending coupons for them. For the price, this place is tough to beat.

I love thair concreat ice cream. You can pick from the day or make you own option.

This place is the best. On Wednesday nights they have a balloon artist doing balloons for the children for free!

good burgers — crinkled fries, fresh lettuce, tomatoe, and pickles. tons better than stank and shake which also uses some kind of ice cream /​ice milk mixture that sucks.
