Steak n Shake

I usually do not come to this location. I never remembered why but know I do. I stopped here for breakfast. I LOVE the Aldi’s in Arnold so much I am contemplating proposal.
I have been wanting to try there slinger for a couple of weeks now. I had to wait a while to be seated. I hate that they frown on you just plopping down somewhere. I had to wait to have my order taken. The girl gave me a funny look when I told here to bring me a Coke Zero and the slinger. Like I did not have plenty of time to mull the menu over. then I had to wait 5 min to be cashed out.
the coke zero was flat. the chili in the slinger tasted old and was dried out. most of the beans were hard and crunchy, and not in an undercooked way. the potatoes in the slinger were cold and looked like they were only cooked on one side.
i saw an employee help one customer be seated and ignore everyone else. I don’t know if he was off duty or on break. he was just sitting in the front area. He helped an elderly couple whom i assume were regulars. he ignored a family that came in with 2 small children. He still sat there and stared while i stood there WAITING to be cashed out.
I will not be back!!!

Horrible service and it wasn’t even crowded. We got charged for the wrong items and they didn’t fix the issue that they caused. They even forgot to charge for something and tried to put it on someone elses ticket. This place had the lowest quality of service I have seen in a while. If you do go there at the very least steer clear of mellisa (her name is misspelled on her name tag) she is the one who was trying to do all the scamming.
