Donut Delight

Cheap, but that’s about the only good thing. I guess you get what you pay for. Dry and hard as a rock.

We just picked up a pair of old fashioned donuts this Saturday morning at 8 am. They were obviously stale. Not fresh. Such a huge disappointment. Will not return.

Ordered Doughnut holes for my sons class on his birthday and of course treated our family to their yummy croissants (Strawberry/​cream cheese and ham/​cheese). Tasted great and customer service was speedy and friendly!

Donuts made in the a.m. last all day… their smoothies are water based and fruit syrup mixed with ice. Their no sugar added mocha freeze is pretty decent. Not like they are fresh brewing or hand crafting these drinks. Its really before and afterschool hangout. Looks like a mino convenient store and the lights arw always off inside for some reason? Run by highschoolers it seems? Not my favorite but its location makes it convenient

There are plenty of foods that taste really good, but are supposed to be bad for your health if you eat them regularly. Then there’s food that does not taste so good, but it’s supposed to be «healthy.» And then there’s one category of food that could be the ultimate nightmare of health nuts because it’s deep-​fried in oil and covered in a sugary glaze. Obviously, I’m referring to the lowly doughnut.
This place has opened up on the former location of a skateboard shop. I wanted to see what sets this place apart from the other local doughnut shops in town. When I went inside, I was surprised at how modern the interior of this place was (in comparison to the other doughnut shops that are located in older buildings). Along with the typical glazed doughnut, you can get other flavors such as chocolate, blueberry, and more. They also carry drinks and other snacks. I tried the bear claws and the ham and cheese pastries, and they both tasted pretty good on their own. From my experience, the best time of day to go is in the mornings, when the doughnuts are at their freshest.
So, if you are looking for a place to get your morning sugar fix in Arroyo Grande, try Donut Delight.
