I had a horrible experience at Coffee Studio. My friend frequents this place as his study lounge and so I decided to tag along one night. It’s one of the few places where you are given free wifi access if you are a paying customer, however, we were unable to use the wifi because it was down. To make it worse, my friend asked about the wifi before ordering but the worker simply asked«what would you like to order?» After getting the order, he notifies him that the wifi is down. The milk tea latte was the worst drink I have ever tasted. It tasted like old water downed milk that was just warmed. My friend said he has yet to taste a drink that he liked. The nutella latte is too sweet. The workers are horrible. We sat on the seats relatively close to the doorway facing Pioneer and one of the workers propped open the door when it was 50 degrees outside. Really? Was it necessary to prop open the door when your customers are sitting there trying to study? A few minutes later, the two workers and a few of their buddies decide to talk extremely loud about their night of drinking and how they were throwing up. It’s seriously one of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at any establishment. Only good thing would be that it is a nice place to study because not many people go there, but I think there’s a reason why that is so.

Monkey returns for his new favorite, BANANANUTELLACROISSANT. Time flew by online on this lazy Sunday afternoon at Coffee Studio. We were lucky to claim a table and a couple cozy chairs, as it was a full house today. Great music, too.

I’m actually disappointed in myself for having taken so long to try this place, considering I live 5 minutes away… This is probably THEEBEST coffee house to study in; it isn’t super loud or crowded. I was able to do my work in peace, unlike my attempts to study at a Starbucks or It’s a Grind!(Btw, free wifi) The espresso drinks are pretty good(not grand, but good). ~$ 4 for a regular, and ~$ 5 for a large. What I love is their selection of teas. they’re definitely original! You can smell tea leaves before you order to decide what you like. pretty cool. They also have italian sodas, but my favorite drink was the mango iced black tea. Their sandwiches range from $ 2-$ 5 and are all filling and tasty. I like the philly cheesesteak(~$ 5) and the chutney and cheese($ 3.25). By the way, they have kind of an Indian fusion to their menu. You can order sandwiches on white, wheat, or sourdough, and they can even toast them(pannini style) for you. There’s open mic nights on Thursdays, and the place is really trendy and cute. They have a GREAT selection of music playing all the time. the kind where every other song you’re going, «Hey, I love this one!» That definitely made my experience here enjoyable. Friendly service and very clean bathrooms: D

Coffee studio is a great place to study because its usually quiet and empty. There’s always a place to sit and usually there aren’t many people that come there to just talk loudly(which can get can really annoying when you’re studying). The staff is always really nice and they’ll bring you your drink and everything. It’s also open pretty late for the area. The only problem is that their drinks are pretty bad. I’ve been here several times to study and I’ve never had a good drink. I’ve had the nutella latte, the white chocolate mocha latte, the strawberry banana smoothie, the green tea with raspberry, and a couple others. As you can see, I’ve been here several times. A couple times the lattes were too bitter or even tasted burnt. The tea tasted like water with kool aid. The drinks are never consistent and really depend on the barista that makes it The only reason why I keep coming back is because its the best place to study in the area. Starbucks, Coffee Bean, and all the boba places are often too noisy and crowded. Most of the time after the first sip though, I wish I could’ve just got Starbucks and brought it here to study. I would never go to coffee studio just for a latte to go. One stars for the study environment. zero for the drinks.

You know what, surprisingly this place is cute! It hasn’t been open for too long but the set-up is real nice. And its not busy! Soo. when you need your daily cup of jo, instead of getting your regular Starbucks, Its a Grind, or Coffee Bean, try this place! They have really unique flavors that are pretty good! I’m not a coffee person, but this place makes a mean NUTELLALATTE! Yes, I said it, NUTELLA latte! I highly suggest it! Next time I def want to try their blueberry tea! There’s also a cute picture/wall display which adds to the place, and there’s a lot of seating! Oh! and they also serve food and snacks!

Sucky Italian Soda. Bizarro. I am a fan of Italian Soda. One of my favorite things to drink. What is Italian Soda? Well, these days its syrup and carbonated water. It taste better with cream. Some call them fountain drinks. This place had it bad with the syrup. I am not sure what happened, but it was terrible. The nice gentleman tried to fix it but it was still terrible.

This place is pretty great. I came here one evening after seeing the great reviews on Unilocal, and I was not disappointed. I ordered a nonfat vanilla latte, and it was one of the best that I have ever had in my life. It was just the right mix of sweetness and espresso. If you are a true coffee snob, they also serve great drip coffees such as Jamaican Blue Mountain and Kopi Luwak. The ambiance is pretty nice in there. It has laid-back, modern feel, and the barista was very friendly. The free wifi makes this café a good place to study or work. Why four stars and not five? They need more people working in there. There was only one person working when I visited, and he was pretty overwhelmed. Also, I wish they had more seating.

I’ve driven past this place 100’s of times but decided to drop in and try their coffee today on an impulse. Why give Starbucks all my money right? The place is intimate and has a modern yet college coffee shop feel and look to it. They have a good selection of coffee’s and snacks. Free wi-fi and friendly service makes this stop a nice place to chill. The coffee I tried was an Indonesian blend, high in caffeine and mild in flavor… it was good. I’ll definitely be back with my laptop next time.

I like Italian soda ever since Cobantigua Coffee House. The place itself looked like a pretty cool place. I would go back there to Unilocal.Few people actually took advantage of the cool ambiance and playing with their laptops. The workers were super friendly too. They also had little kids books there. The have coffee luwak here. One day when I am really really drunk I will try coffee luwak. I got Italian soda instead. My Italian soda was so weak. It was tasteless. I went back and asked the guy to fix it. He did. Still not good. Too bad the Italian soda wasn’t good. 1 star for the Italian soda. 4 stars for the ambiance. Just a correction for the menu: Phillipines Sulawesi Toraja. Toraja coffee is not from the Phillipines. Trust me! Yes, they do have motit coffee(that’s what they call luwak in the Phillipines) but Sulawesi is an island in Indonesia. 2.5 stars! Coffee Studio is not yummylicious!

Thx to my dear friend, Jes, for introducing me to CS. It is a difficult thing to find a non-chain coffee place in SoCal … let alone one that is the high caliber of this business. If you LOVE coffee — QUALITY not quantity — you must make a pilgrimage to Coffee Studio. Kudos for supplying organic and fair trade organic coffee… and thoroughly describing the selections. The menu has tasting notes — high /low acidity, light — dark roast, etc. CS is like a wine bar for coffee. The décor ain’t half bad either: it’s got modern sensibilities and the furnishings are comfortable, but the ambiance lacks something that would invite me to stay extended periods like my NorCal haunts.

I’m not a big fan of Starbucks. There, I said it. The drinks are inconsistent and the pastries majorly suck. With that said, I’ve been trying to find a nice coffee place to hang out at. I think I found it with Coffee Studio. If you love Nutella, then this place is for you. Nutella latte and Nutella sandwich? Yes, please. There are some pretty creative drinks here. They also have a wide variety of teas. The atmosphere is great, super cozy. Prices are also great. I think they are a little cheaper than Starbucks. Service is also good. They bring your drinks to you. How awesome is that? Overall, an awesome coffee place. I wouldn’t mind having this shop on every corner.

I really wish this place was closer to me. Great, cozy coffee shop. I like how they have little tubes filled with the tea leaves at the counter so you can smell them when deciding which of the teas to try(they have a pretty good selection — definitely more than Starbucks’ pitiful four or five choices!). I got a green tea latte and it was good! I’d come here all the time if it was closer! Still on the hunt for a good coffee shop near me.

Amazing coffee shop! The location is far for me to drive, but I met up with a good friend here and really enjoyed the place. The ambiance is relaxing and quiet, a great place to study or have intimate and quiet conversation. The bagel sandwiches are good as well and when I said I didn’t want cream cheese the owner? — barista offered extra pesto to make sure it was moist enough. The coffee is definitely the star here though. It’s almost like a coffee-wine bar, with different types from different regions and a full description of strength, flavor, caffeine level, etc. In a different locale I wouldn’t be surprised to see Coffee Studio trendier(and pricier) but thankfully here in Artesia the prices are great and the atmosphere is unpretentious. I had the Kenyan coffee I believe, smoky and strong and perfect.

Need great coffee beans, fresh roast, beautiful and new décor, friendly staff and something off the main stream? Yeah, we all do and I found a good candidate. «Coffee Studio»! Location just off Pioneer and 183rd and situated right on the corner of a brand new shopping mall is this chill little place. In fact, I’m writing this review from the location this time. Philippine, Indonesian, American and many more beans generate mouth watering and exciting coffees that fill the air as you walk in. Oh, and if you like strong coffee you need to grab one of the last Philippine coffees on their list of hot coffees. High caffeine and a strong flavor that’s full of flavor and scents will heighten your mind and give you that good ‘ol «Joe Buzz» that Starbucks just doesn’t fill anymore. The guy that was running the joint behind the counter was really cool. He answered all our questions and gave some great advice too. Our coffees were made quickly and OHEEMGEE, my mouth and tongue felt like they were being fondled by the Java God Himself. This is one of those coffee joints you will want to frequent once you hit it and one that every time you are in a Starbucks you go, «Damn I wish I was over at Coffee Studio».

My friend and I went on Saturday morning and it was pretty quiet. The two people working at Coffee Studio were very friendly. Clean and nicely decorated. FYI…parking lot is huge… the Coffee Studio is on the corner of Pioneer and 183rd. My friend and I both had the banana/nutella croissant and it was so yummy!!! It’s also available with regular bread, I’m curious how that tastes. I had the chai tea blended latte which was very good, but a little too sweet. Would go back!!! So good!

A great alternative to your neighborhood Sbucks or CBTL. In fact, it’s probably better! I was a bit skeptical because this bldg was previously a «It’s a Grind»(somewhere I absolutely refuse to purchase coffee from). But it is completely different. Quiet, excellent customer service, coffee brewed by the cup, free wifi. Great study environment and definitely not crowded. One thing I’m curious about is their specialty coffee priced at $ 25(12oz)… has anyone tried it?

I haven’t seen quite an assortment of teas in a little coffee joint before. Honestly, of the few times I’ve been here, I’ve never tried the coffee and somehow just end up getting some tea. I’m sure the other food and coffees the Coffee Studio serves is pretty good, if the tea is any indication. I don’t want to totally rip on other coffee and tea houses, but the Coffee Studio should really consider renaming themselves to highlight the fact that they have a wide assortment of teas. I’m sure most people passing by may not be aware of their tea offerings. It can also help draw in a different segment(tea lovers), who may not have even known of such a product sold here. For a little history, this particular coffee shop used to be an «It’s A Grind». And for what it was worth the It’s A Grind couldn’t compete with the neighboring Yogurtland or may, just simply, not find a niche in that strip mall. I wasn’t particular a fan of the It’s A Grind here before either, since they actually charged me 25 cents for a cup of water(of which I paid by a credit card). But back to the teas. Unfortunately, there are so many that I can’t remember the names of any particular one. I just know that the one I like has a mango-like and citrus flavor to it. I even forgot the exact number vial it was. Once you order that, you can specify various sizes. I recommend getting a hot pot’s worth and using some sweetening ingredient, like honey, to make it even easier to swig. One interesting difference I’ve noticed with the Coffee Studio and the older It’s A Grind is that this newer store makes more of an active effort to be involved in community events and is willing to market itself a lot more than the former coffee shop. There’s nothing that can aid in continued success and growth more than 1) awareness and 2) serving an honest-to-God good product alongside an emphasis on the service. Perhaps next time I come by, I’ll actually get to try a coffee next time.

Nutella and banana on a croissant, Panini style, YESPLEASE! This place also has coffee, teas, pastries, and savory Panini’s too. But the main reason I came here was, of course, because of the Nutella and banana Panini. Coffee Studio is a fairly new coffee joint, located in the city of Artesia. Even though this is not a chain, it looks like every other chain coffee joint. The big difference between this place and those chain places is that Coffee Studios menu is much, much bigger. CS offers lots of different types of blended coffees, regular coffees, and about 40 different types of teas. Not to mention sandwiches, cookies, ice cream, and other tasty treats. My girl and I came here one day after a long walk around El Dorado Park’s nature center and trails. We weren’t starving but we were hungry. We decided to split one of their Panini’s before we ordered any sweets. They had a few different Panini’s to choose from but in the end we decided to get their steak and cheese Panini. This Panini was OK. There was nothing really special about it. It contained thinly sliced streak, pesto sauce, cheddar cheese, grilled onions and tomatoes. Don’t get me wrong, it was not bad or anything, it just tasted somewhat plain. To wash down this Panini we shared a large cup of their blood orange tea, which was amazingly delicious. Now comes time for dessert, the best part of every meal. This is all the things we ordered to satisfy our sweet tooth’s Smore’s blended iced coffee Almond Joy blended iced coffee Coconut macaroon Chocolate chip candy cookie White chocolate oatmeal raisin cookie Nutella and banana croissant Panini Can we say sweets overload. HECKNO. My girl and I devoured all these goodies. Both of the iced blended drinks and all three of the cookies were amazing. Their coconut macaroon was huge and was super crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The real star of our dessert show, however, was of course the Nutella and banana croissant Panini. This sandwich was served warm and was packed full of delicious, melted nutella. The sliced bananas somehow stayed nice and cold even though the rest of the sandwich was warm. The croissant was also great. It was super flaky and extremely buttery. I could have easily eaten two more of these bad boys. As we were about to leave I decided to get one of their smoothies to go. They had many to choose from but in the end I ordered their blueberry green tea smoothie. This smoothie was equally as amazing as the rest of their drinks. The prices and service at CS was fantastic. The guy who was working that day made all our drinks and sandwiches really quickly. Since it was our first time here he was more than happy to go over their menu with us and even give us some suggestions on what to try. I don’t think our entire bill came to more than $ 25 bucks, which is cheap considering all the stuff we ordered. If your ever in Artesia and feel like some great coffee or tea, then you should defiantly check out Coffee Studio. If you do go, make sure you order their Nutella and Banana Panini, I know you will love it. If not, call me and I will come finish it for you.

Sipping on an extra spicy Spiced Chai Green Tea latte while listening to some of the old school stylings of Musiq Soulchild and Jack Johnson while waiting for my Banana and Nutella Panini on wheat bread to arrive. Love it. I can already tell that I’m going to spend many hours in the future coming back here to use their free wi-fi and attempt to study until I try every last drink on their menu. And apparently it’s open mic night on Thursdays from 7 – 10PM. Very cool! *edit: the banana and nutella panini is melt in your mouth godly! i’m DEFINITELY coming back!
