Whichever team was working tonight, February 25, it was a great team! Not only was our food fantastic but the service was exceptional. Even the guy cleaning the place was happy, chatted with customers, and didn’t half-ass his work. He did a great job our cashier and everyone else who was behind the counter was friendly, service was fast, and the food was perfect. It was very clean. Ultimate chicken tostada and three piece meal for us tonight.

It’s dinner time on a Tuesday night and they don’t have any onions. We could have gone to another location with a complete salsa bar.

Ordered BRC burritos and there was rice and cheese. Ordered cheese quesadilla and it was shredded cheese in a tortilla and ice cold. Worst service. Very slow. Won’t be coming back.

Stop by a few times a week to get some lunch. The drive thru is usually busy and the hell could try to listen better when taking an order. The food is always good and hot. Not bad for fast food.

This is the best Pollo Loco in town. The one in Norwalk. Better food, the salsas and service! Jennifer provided me awesome service last several times I’ve been there.

Sarah Mena… remember that name. I Stopped at El Pollo loco because I had a gift card I hadn’t used since 2011. True story. It was lost then I found it and it had just under $ 5 on it. Cool. Let’s eat. 10:40a.m. I ordered the 2 chicken avocado taco meal. And I must have read the menu wrong because I thought it was only around $ 5.99. Got up to the window and the nice girl Yessenia, gives me a total of $ 8 and change as I handed her my gift card. Say what? Wait. How much? Wait the machine isn’t reading the card. . Wait before you run it, what was the total? I thought it was $ 5.99,. Why is it over $ 8? No that’s just the tacos. Oh.. ok well let me change that then. Sara Mena comes to the window and says. . I already made the tacos! As she rolls her eyes and stomps back, ok fine. .I’ll take JUST the tacos. Yessenia says ok but walks away. At this time Sara Mena, thee manager in charge is entering my gift card manually because it wouldn’t run through. And then tells me the difference is.. $ 3 and change. . Wait. .what? I only wanted the tacos. She hands me the bag her eyes are rolling into the back of her head, she is giving me dirty looks and finally just says ok, that’s fine, ok. ok. .more dirty looks as she tenders the sale and slams the drive thru window. Ok.. So. .am I done? Do you want your chips back? Rude! This lady needs to realize. .attitude is everything. If this little snafu causes this kind of reaction, what are you going to do when it’s lunch time and all the hungry crazies come by ordering and changing their orders and handing you every coupon that just came in the mail? Change your attitude Sarah Mena or change your job title.

I came here to grab some dinner as i was on my way home. Normally I go to the one off the 91 going toward Orange County but this was so much closer. The drive thru line wasn’t too bad so I was happy about that. I ordered a 3 piece combo with fries and mashed potatoes and a pollo bowl with no beans. My order was repeated to me twice on the intercom and both times it was repeated correctly. I was asked if I wanted salsa. I responded«yes please». I get to the window and my food is ready and i drive off. My fault for not looking but there were a bunch of cars behind me and I didn’t want to hold the line up. I get home and my pollo bowl is correct. It had more rice than anything but I can work with that. The hubby opens his chicken and it’s all wrong. I got 2 sad looking dried up pieces of chicken that looked like it was from an old batch sitting under a heat light since early this morning. You know, when the skin looks like rubber. Yup! And my salsa… no where to be found. Very disappointed in this place. Next time I’ll take the longer drive and go to an el pollo loco where you actually get what you order. Not coming back here.

My coworkers and I come here quite often. Not sure how often we will come now due to the rude Manager!!! I gave 2 stars because the girls that work there are very friendly and accommodating to our requests. I have never seen a male manager get so many dirty looks like a Diva.

I am not the type to complain HOWEVER I have never been treated so unprofessional and felt extremely rush on the drive thru. The order is practicality thrown at you. I wasnt able to leave there drive thru because I wanted sauce and then he gave me that but then he was rushing me and asked him for my drink. He right away gave it to me but ½ full WOW really, not good aweful experience. I love the food but is time to look for another nearby pollo loco.

I have two el pollo locos near my work, equal distance but opposite directions. This is by far the crappier of the two based on food quality! The taco meat at this one is alway charred like they scraped the bottom of the grill and threw it on tortillas, their bottles of water aren’t cold and the chip quantity is like half the amount as the other location. I won’t be going back to this location again… Three times in a row now it’s been like this

Healthier fare than the Colonel’s chicken. Occasional specials available: I came in and got the $ 20 meal for four(8 pieces of chicken legs and thighs, two sides, churros, avocado tortilla salad), but after adding one more side and requesting mixed pieces the total came to $ 30. I appreciated that they offered larger sizes for the salsa than the teeny clear cups at the self serve salsa bar. Chicken was juicy and tender, good beans and Mexican rice. I think I’ll be back the next time i need a quick dinner fix. Clean & well stocked restroom is always a plus!

I was in the mood for some crazy fire roasted grilled chicken… where else, but El Pollo Loco! I was pleased to see that the drive thru line was moving fast and that the employees were quick with my order. It is conveniently located off the Pioneer Blvd exit from the 91 freeway and is next door to a gas station. They even put an extra coupon in my bag which is a great marketing strategy for those that want to save a little, but eat a lot;)

Funny… I wouldn’t normally review a fast food place like this, but when I saw the poor reviews I had to chime in. Ok… these reviews are kinda old. 16 months and 2 years. I think things have changed since then. Granted… this was my first time in this location. But, the customer service was so good that I sat up and took notice of it! I stopped here for a late lunch with my Honey and the 2 kiddos. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever eaten AT an El Pollo Loco. It’s usually drive thru for me… if at all… But, we opted to dine in. The customer service was great! Our rather large order came out quickly and without any issues. That was the easy part. But, as we enjoyed our lunch, with each person that came in, I heard a personal greeting! It was as if the servers knew everyone by name. I halfway expected a chubby guy to walk in and everyone shout out, «NORM!»(um… reference to Cheers… did all you 20 somethings get that one? haha) But, I digress. My point is, the servers were as nice as can be… very patient whilst waiting for the 4 of us to make up our minds, change our order, and finally come to some decisions. They remembered people who came often… one woman came in and the server said, hey… long time no see… how are you? They were super friendly and strangely enough,… very outgoing ;-) And, the food was really good. El Pollo Loco is non-guilty fast food. I love it when I’m in a time crunch but I want some healthy options. They have a great family deal right now — $ 20 for 8 pieces of chicken, a lovely avocado salad, rice, beans, tortillas, AND4 churros! Now that’s a bargain :-)

POOR, POORCUSTOMERSERVICE. I’ve pulled up their drive-thru only a couple of times… but once you give horrible service, that will be the last time you see me!(FYI: It takes A LOT for me to lose my cool. I’m usually a VERY patient person.) As I was saying my order through the intercom, the man would ask me to repeat it at least 3 times… I was basically YELLING my order to him. They repeated what I ordered over to me through both the intercom and the window, and what he said was both correct… But once I gave them a couple of coupons before I payed, all hell broke loose(for them, at least). The manager(wearing the orange shirt) was very rude and impatient. He was trying to help his coworker(who took my order) input the coupon information onto the register, and all of a sudden starts using profanity & bad mouthing about me in Spanish to his other coworkers(as if I couldn’t understand him). He then talks to me and accuses me of telling him the wrong order(because the coupon said exactly what I wanted). In my head, all I thought was, «So all that yelling was for NOTHING?!» It took about ten minutes for them to input the coupon codes. And once he was done, the manager sticks his head out of the window and tells me, «Next time you say your order, speak loudly.» I mean… If he said it nicely, then I wouldn’t mind. But that wasn’t the case. He basically DEMANDED me to do that for him, and I was NOT pleased. As he gave me his demands, he was passing me my soda, and it ended up spilling a little bit(because he put a smaller lid)… He expected me to just take it & put it in my car while it was still dripping everywhere. I had to LITERALLYASK him if I can get a bigger lid and a napkin to clean it up because he obviously didn’t get the picture. What made me even more mad was that I didn’t get a «Sorry» for the spilled soda. Um. Common Courtesy, anyone? The other man in the black shirt(that helped put my order together) was kind and seemed less irritated, but the man in the orange shirt is the one that really ticked me off.
