Dwayne, the «manager» actually started yelling at me in the middle of the store. He said, I needed a new Doctor, when my glasses were not made correctly, and flat out called him a liar. LOL. When I left the store a very nice elderly woman who happened to hear everything said, ‘there’s no reason they should have talked to you like that”. I agree. Avoid this place and Dwayne. Go anywhere else.

I had an eye exam with their associates then purchased a pair of glasses thru Arvada Health Care Associates. After spending all morning selecting the frames that I liked, then getting the measurements for my prescription, and finally starting the payment process, the price increased 3 TIMES beyond her original quote (due to her mistakes, Oh, sorry I forgot to add this charge in, Oh sorry, I forgot to add that charge, Do you just want to cancel your order or go with this price?). Stupid me, I needed to get the glasses and I didn’t want to have just wasted the entire morning’s effort, so I paid their jacked up price.
A month later now, I call to get a copy of the measurements they had taken that morning so I can order a pair of sunglasses online at well less than ½ the price AHCO wants to charge, and «Dwayne, The Manager» actually becomes extremely rude and belligerent and refuses to give me the information since I’m not buying the new sunglasses thru them. He was actually arguing with me that he’s not required by law to provide me a copy of my medical records with his office. I couldn’t understand why the guy just comes on the phone and starts being such an asshole without even a hello, or how can I help you, or anything!!!
I made sure to tell him he was NEVER getting any more business from my family, and that I was going to write this up on every review I could. His response, he hung up on me.
The Arvada Eye Associates were nice people and I liked them, but the Arvada Health Center Optical associated with them are price gouging, rude, and apparently incompetent.

Received the glasses and they are fine. I needed the pupil distance for an online order of sport rx glasses as they didn’t have any that would work for cycling. Was told it was $ 20. After I said that was crazy, we already bought the glasses and all I was looking for was their medical record of the visit, was told it was policy.
The woman I spoke with on the phone sounded drunk and interrupted me multiple times after I asked to stop cutting me off. She was rude.
Avoid this place.
