I had a terrible experience at a third-party shipping location. I went to this fedex office, and the service was INCREDIBLE. They helped me carry in my packages, they fixed the botched shipping labels from the previous store, and they got the packages shipped out the same day. A great location with the best service around!

Here is what should happen when you miss a delivery to your home due to a signature requirement: 1) The note left on your door clearly states when and where you can pick it up the same day if you don’t want to wait(like me, eager to get a new iPhone in my hot little hands), or gives you the option of signing and leaving the note out for the following day’s delivery. 2) You call the 800# to verify that this will REALLY be where your package is at said time before making the trip, and you are not placed on hold, and in fact the person determines the exact location of your package and lo and behold it’s actually at the pick-up facility early. In addition, the person apologizes for the inconvenience because the signature requirement was not noted during the order process. 3) You drive to a pick-up facility that is less than fives miles from home rather than BFE, whose hours(till 7pm!) are noted on the slip and confirmed by the customer service agent. 4) Plentiful parking. 5) Short line — in and out in under five minutes. Lesson learned: UPS stands for Useless Package Shippers.
