Stopped in for the first time this week with my wife, adult daughter and 15yoa grand-daughter for breakfast. I was the first to arrive and I was greeted and seated quickly. Service was fast and very attentive. I had the Virginia ham and eggs breakfast, my wife had a Denver skillet, daughter a breakfast burrito smothered in green chili, grand-daughter had a Belgium waffle. We all enjoyed our meals very much and found the food to be quite good. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. We will«put this on the list» to return! Highly recommend.

The food was delicious!!! The service was fantastic!!! Loved meeting George! We were seated right away outside. The waitress was pleasant, efficient, friendly and accommodating. She as well as the servers kept the coffee flowing. The food arrived quickly and it was fresh and cooked to perfection!

Average food with a few unique items. Greek Breakfast skillet was very good. Breakfast burrito with green chili is very good and a huge portion. Great spot for family breakfast. Reasonable prices fast and friendly service. Nice family owned restaurant

Great breakfast place! We had the special… steak and eggs for $ 7.95!!! We both got the steak with coffee and the total bill was $ 16.19! Can’t beat that with a stick! We had a fantastic waitress, Brea, who was very friendly, super efficient, and very attentive toward us. We’d like to try the place for lunch or dinner sometime. They serve Greek food which I love. A very nice place for breakfast!

Having experienced BOTH the lunch and dinner gyros, I have nothing but the highest praise for this fantastic dish. The lamb is wonderful, the pita is excellent and the tzatziki sauce is perfect. You MUST have a huge appetite to finish the dinner gyro — good for a bit to take home. I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying their delightful breakfasts, as well and am equally as impressed with their reasonably priced truly good home cooking. It’s usually pretty well filled, every morning — yes, it’s that good and there are many regulars. You won’t go wrong to choose a meal at George’s Café.

A really great place for breakfast. Fast and friendly service and delicious food. The pancakes and bacon were so much better than the big chain restaurants in the area.

Small family owned business that doesn’t look like much but has excellent, fresh food. I’m definitely coming back.

Been coming here for years, everything is good on the menu. Great prices, clean and friendly staff. You see the owner on the floor all the time. Very casual little diner

This place is average at best. The waitress, I believe her name was Tammy, was not personable at all. Very matter-of-fact, and not friendly at all. The food was priced good, but the quality was poor. Beware, and never go here. If I had the choice of no stars, that’s what I would rate this place! Terrible ambiance and run down.

Love this place. The wait staff is always friendly. It gets really crowded by around 7:30 on Saturdays, so go early or expect a wait. The food is good, and the prices are very reasonable. Best Belgian waffles I’ve ever had, and the Virginia ham is wonderful.

Food is great and reasonable prices but the service is worth 2 stars. My son and I waited to be seated for 10 minutes a couple came in, and obviously their friends or? And were seated first not cool!

2 stars for the service which was amazing. Food was over cooked and bland. Wife’s eggs cooked in oil were so rubbery you could bounce them. My philly steak was super dry, unseasoned and had large chunks of fat. The service, if you like people being friendly, was great. Waitresses and the owner sitting at the tables with customers seems like norm but not my cup of tea.

I come here on occasion when my boyfriend and overall it’s just not that great. I realize this is your basic run of the mill neighborhood diner with crap food and cheap prices. This is so close to us so we always end up coming here when we can’t agree on anything. They ALWAYS have a line. which is odd because they just aren’t outstanding. Bland and generally lacking spice and flavor, I have come to notice that the majority of who is coming here are older and sorts. what is it with old people that like bland boring food? The service is generally good but realistically, I can’t see myself going out of my way to come here.

How does this place have three stars? The food is all out of a can or was previously frozen. It’s gross… don’t eat here.

So I ordered my Cinnamon roll and waited with child like anticipation when 6 mins later this stupid fucking waitress comes up and tells me «sorry there out of Cinnamon rolls I’ll take it off your ticket» super :(for georges I really wanted to like this place

We thought that since they were always fairly busy, they would have good food. We were incorrect. My husband and I went in for breakfast. I love corned beef hash and eggs, but didn’t realize theirs was canned — gross. My husband ordered a chile relleno and eggs — bust didn’t realize that the relleno had nacho cheese in the middle. The food wasn’t great, service wasn’t bad.

George’s Café is a reliably consistent diner that seems to always be fairly busy on weekend mornings, which says a lot on it’s own. The food isn’t the best breakfast fare I’ve seen or had in the area, but it’s always good and most of all very convenient. I’ve probably had a half dozen breakfasts there in the last couple of years, usually trying different things. We were in a couple weeks ago on a Sunday morning, there was a line out the door so we ran a couple of errands and tried back a while later. We came back after a little under an hour, and after a couple minutes were we seated and immediately greeted by a friendly server. I’ve seen her there before and she seems to know a good portion of the customers so I’m guessing she’s been there a while. I got the chicken fried steak with country potatoes and eggs this time around. It was very good, the steak tender and the gravy creamy. I swapped out a biscuit for the toast and would NOT do that again. For some crazy reason(maybe it was stale?) they nuked the biscuit, can we please pass a law against placing bread in a microwave? Great prices for consistently good food, pretty tough combo to beat!
