As a past employee I figured I would give my feedback on this place and its new manager, Julia. Simply called with a couple questions regarding taxes. Asked to speak to a manager, and she goes«ummm yah that would be me» in a very rude and annoyed tone. Explained I haven’t received my return and I think they may have forgotten mine since I left there last January. I live right down the street and others have received theirs. All she had to say was«somebody sent them out over a week ago so you should learn to wait.» I’ve never heard a manager acting so immaturely or rude, maybe at McDonald’s or something. As an assistant manager I can say I’d never treat or talk to somebody the way she did to me today. Its a shame Rick and Debby would let somebody like this be the face of their company. But best of luck to you Fire and Ice, I think you guys might need it!

Food(sandwiches)were presented kind of sloppy & soaked on bottom piece of bread. Impossible to pick up & eat. Service was very slow & had to wait long time for drink & never refilled water.

This place was really good the first time we went in about a year ago. We went this year and the server forgot our appetizer and then I got sick from the fish and chips. Yikes. Avoid that dish

We were excited to try a highly rated bar-grill but disappointed by the food– it was very greasy. We wont go back.

This place is so fun! The industrial utilitarian ambiance is tastefully done so it feels warm and cozy. The bar is neon blue back lite surface that shines though your glasses when you set them down… love it!!! The menu is reasonable with creative burgers and sandwiches piled on with meat(try the Reuben for $ 9 with over sized onion rings) The rib eye is the most expensive item at $ 27 but comes with sides and is yummy yummy. Try the pyro, a chicken cordon bleu with a chipolte chile cream sauce over a bed of frsh zucchini set aflame wit Bacardi 151… fun fun fun!!! The crème brûlée after the disaster we had at Block and Larder was a refreshing surprise. It was made correctly, served in a ramiken dish with a crisp sugar crust. It was delicious! This is a great place!

Fire and Ice bistro? Great name, except it’s not a bistro, and there are certainly no words to say how tacky this name is. Their burgers are just over cooked meatloaf with bland accompaniments. It’s a bar, not a restaurant. The kitchen staff were standing around the bar hours before closing just staring at the only two tables in the restaurant talking about where they would rather be. As soon as our order was rang in they started pumping fists because most of it was only for one of the cooks. What an absolute joke this menu and establishment are! Can’t wait for someone else to take it over and do something different, something worthwhile.

The food was just OK and the service was lacking(cold food and inattentiveness). This place could be good if they tried to be either a bar or restaurant, but not both.

Oh my goodnes. Wonderful fire & ice burger. Huge portion of calamari too. Enough for everyone for sure. Our waitress was delightful. Now I wish I lived up here. Will definitely be coming back.

For late night entertainment and great eats this is the place to go. Everything made from scratch in the kitchen. Food and drink come out steaming with dry ice or flaming with fire. The servers and bartenders are super friendly and attentive to customer needs. IT was packed when I went on a Friday night and I got food and beverages fast and I was able to get in and out in under 30 minutes in time for a concert I was going to. Will return, great menu and drinks, CHEERS!

The décor/lighting reminds me of that bar that used to be in the Tivoli around 1994(Club Infinity?). Once you get past that you will note that the furniture is the super cheap stuff. Confusing, disjointed menu, but some good beers on tap. I don’t understand this place so I’ve spent enough time writing about it already, OK!!! Come get a beer here if you’re feeling really nostalgic. Wear your Z Cavariccis! I dare you!!!

I really enjoyed this place. Something different in Olde Town. I will agree that the décor is a lil 1990’s, but I found that to be quite amusing :-P I really like that the food and drink menus are creative and different. Everything here is made from scratch and the price is extremely reasonable. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Service is also fast!!! It was crazy how fast everything came out. I didn’t see any of the waitresses wearing corsets like other Unilocalers said. Guess they got rid of that, which is a good thing. It would make it very cheesy. Anyways, I like this place and I will definitely be back.

Not to sure what to think of the décor and not sure why they are called fire and ice with a partial greek god theme. The menu is pretty basic but all over the place. In an area that is about rustic and«olé town» it’s very cold and trying to more modern. Just so lost on the name and theme. The burger are not bad but their wings with their Thai dressing was pretty gross. It was still cold on hot wings and it was like a gel… yes, a gel. So, why 3 stars? Their staff and bartenders are really nice. With my reviews you will notice that service is more important then the food… most of the time.

Very cool place! Excellent menu, even specifies meals for those who are deathly afraid of gluten. Wonderful shakes, hand cut French fries, very yummy food. Will definitely be back if I’m in the neighborhood. m

Great atmosphere, nice menu. Started with the French onion soup: broth was very tasty but toast was a doughy piece of bread and was cold. I couldn’t get past it so I sent it back. This time was warm enough to melt cheese but got cold again within seconds. Salmon was the main course: cooked to perfection and strawberry salsa was yummy. The vegetables were limp and drowning in oil. Service was friendly and prompt but I was given the wrong check in a nearly empty restaurant.

Coming from 37 years of professional cooking and restaurant/catering management: Visually, entering Fire and Ice offered nothing special. Same old sealed concrete floor and sparse tables. The dining room was clean. We were greeted fast, but the place was 75% empty… so… Our server was mediocre and personality-less The menu was small and limited and lacked any sort of genuine creativity. The Mac-n-Cheese Balls were bland and the Cheese Sauce was right out of the dispenser at 7 – 11. The Pyro, even its menu description, was busy, but I tried it anyway. Again, it was busy in ingredients and delivered NADA in flavor.(Pass the salt please.) My wife had the Trident(fish and chips). Utterly forgettable. Oddly, the Chef was dissatisfied with the entrée and brought out an additional piece of fish. From my days in the kitchen, Ive learned… dont send the entrée in the first place if its substandard. Make it again. The price point is competitive. In conclusion, we went, we tasted, we dont need to go again.

Yay a great burger in old town Arvada! The bloody Mary’s were yum, the burgers were moist and delicious and cooked just right. The green chili was tasty. Great little spot, we will be back. One odd thing they do here is charge for mayo. One dollar to be exact. They call it aioli so i guess that’s why they charge for it. Other than that, great experience!

Finally had a chance to try this place the other day. While I can’t say it stands out as anything spectacular, it’s okay and I’m happy to see another option in Old Towne Arvada. That said, I do want to give these guys another try, so will post an update when I do.

This place is pretty awesome but will reserve the extra star for my burger being well instead of medium. When you spend $ 11 bucks for a «juicy», «medium» burger it is what you expect. Mine was more on the well done side minus the juiciness. My wife likes it well, so I will stop my rant right there. We came in for drinks one time and this time to test the food. Beyond my first sentence I want to say nice job to Chef and the people you have working for you. Todd the /waiter slash bartender is a pro and really knows how to treat a guest. I watched him carefully handle some kinda bitchy ladies at the next table. He went way out of his way to be positive and took good care of them. When we ordered a burger to split, he made sure we were both taken care of by splitting the order in two. You can see from the photo that they didn’t split the portion the fries and made sure both plates had ample amount. We split a lunch often and you rarely find this. The sauces were all delicious. Mayo wasn’t just mayo it had aioli in it(whatever that is). BBQ sauce was spicy and different which keeps pace with the type of food they serve, excellent. And the third which was more of a house sauce I gather was tasty. Todd came back several times to check on us; quickly refilled waters and the cute girl in the bustier made it a point to stop bussing her table and thanked us for coming as we left. While there we even saw Chef in the back making something with his nitrogen machine which sent off a cloud and was entertaining to watch indeed. Overall the food was well above average in my book, presentation as you can see outstanding, and even the bitchy ladies sitting next to us commented on deliciousness. I am glad we have this new place in our town, we needed it. Will I be back? You bet! Congrats to Fire & Ice Bistro. You’re a big hit

Came here on a whim and love this place! Great prices, great food and the staff is very attentive. The only complaint I have is the bar lights(bright blue) are too bright! I have no problem sitting at a booth/table but I would rather sit at the bar. This may be my new hangout spot.
