My boyfriend, cousin and I just stopped in this liquor store, but decided to go to a cheaper one and left. On our way out the owner followed us out and accused us of stealing a bottle. We all were caught off guard and offered for him to look in our purses, and telling him we did not steal anything. He didn’t believe us and it was just an awful uneeded experience. I can assure you we didn’t steal anything, and literally did not even touch a bottle in that store. Go elsewhere everyone! Thanks for reading!

This place has some cool employees, but the prices suck. There isn’t that good of a selection either. There are much better choices of liquor stores within a five mile radius.

I parked in this lot because it was close to where my friends and I wanted to stop for a few minutes. The plan was to stop in and get something when we got back to the car. However, when we got back to my car, the owner came out to yell at me for parking in his lot and leaving. I tried to apologize and tell him that I understood where he was coming from, be he obviously just wanted a target to vent at. I apologized several times, but he continued to talk over me. When he finally ran out of steam I assured him it would NEVER happen again, because my friends and I will not be going near this place. Lost three potential customers on account of rudeness.

I stopped by to grab a bottle of wine after a trip to PetsMart and was pleasantly surprised. Since I have a bad habit of choosing wine based on how pretty the label is, I’ve learned to start asking for recommendations. The guy working new his stuff and suggested based on my plan for fish tacos this evening. I got home and popped it open and couldn’t be happier. It’s delicious, reasonably priced AND it has a pretty label!

Okay. So we lied to ourselves. Tired from the night before, we said we weren’t going to drink, hence the trip to the salon for a pedi, dinner then Blockbuster. …But all the slush in the snow made us crave daiquiris and ‘ritas. So off to Water Tower Liquors we went. They were out of my preferred premium tequila, Don Julio, but the owner suggested another popular and much newer brand, Corzo. Loved the bottle, but that’s not why I bought it. The owner knew his tequilas, as well as what customers proffered at his latest weekly tasting, so he stood proud behind his suggestion. And it wasn’t because of the steeper price($ 45.99). «Besides,» he said. «I wouldn’t suggest it if I knew you wouldn’t like it. I want to keep my customers happy and coming back.» We bought it and loved it. But not before we snagged a bottle of Bitch grenache. This place no longer does the weekly tastings because the owner said it seemed to slow business rather than increase. I recommended he switch to just monthly to build anticipation. Really cool owner with a sense of community. There was a couple and their dog that waltzed in and he had no qualms with that.
