Osmond Equestrian

Osmond Equestrian is one of the best out there! As the assistant barn manager, I have witnessed many, many of Andrea’s lessons and I’m impressed by Andrea’s teaching style and her lesson program. All of Andrea’s students seem to enjoy their lessons and their time with Andrea (some of them stay for hours after their own lessons). I do however; remember one particular time that a young student was upset and crying during her lesson. Andrea calmly helped the child down from the horse’s back, she then kneeled down to her students level and hugged her and was quietly talking to her student. After a few minutes Andrea was riding with her student who’s tears were gone and a smile replaced them. Andrea earned a lot of respect from me that day and has had it ever since. No matter your age or riding ability, you’ll love working with Osmond Equestrian!

I was so lucky to find Andrea Osmond and Osmond Equestrian online. There were so many big barns and I had no idea which. Then I saw Andrea and her smiling face on her website. It was just my style. A small business with a woman who knows exactly what she’s doing.
I’ve been in such good hands from the very beginning. I am a beginner beginner. Totally scared of horses but obsessed at the same time. She has assessed me each lesson to see where I’m at, where I need more time and where I need to be pushed just a bit. She is very efficient: strong where she needs to be and sympathetic or complimentary when I need it. She knows how to manage a horse and I’m in awe of that.
The barn where we work also seems to take great care of the horses. Its right near Table Mountaine (not that I’m ready for that yet!) I’ve had an excellent experience overall. I would highly recommend Osmond Equestrian.
