Just have to update… I order almost weekly and have never been left disappointed. Their potato salad, brownies, pickle, and subs are just perfect! Way better than the competition, trust me!

I took my 5 year old daughter in to get a meal and was shocked when we got home and I looked at her kids meal sub. It had one piece of shaved ham and a half of a piece of cheese on a 5 inch sub roll. I have an electronic scale and actually weighed the meat… it was less than an ounce of meat! For a kids meal, or any meal that is ridiculous. I called to ask if that was the normal portion, and was told that it is… how can you even call this a meal? It should be called a carb meal, not a kids meal — a big piece of bread, goldfish and fruit snacks.
Don’t bother with this place if you are looking for something healthy or fulfilling for your kids. My sub was fair… but again contained a very minuscule amount of meat. I really like to support local, but will pass on this local establishment.
The only reason I gave 2 stars is because of their service; the two people working there were very friendly and professional — even when I called — so thank you for that.

With so many options in close proximity this is a welcome and very tasty option. Hot subs, cold subs, and wraps have all been quality choices. Especially appreciate the 3 sizes to choose from when getting a sub. My favorite had been the outlaw.

SO DELICIOUS! My new favorite sub shop in Arvada for sure! My fiancé and I LOVED the soft bread! Both of our sandwiches where very good size, they really pack it on especially if you order double on the veggies. I really want to try the soup, chilli and potato salad. The restaurant was clean and the staff seemed friendly. Our order was also ready before we fot there!

When it comes to a quality sub shop I think the bread has to be outstanding, anyone can pile on the meat and cheese but you have to have a good foundation of bread to start with; Silver Mine Subs has horrible bread. It is too soft and spongy with no crust and had a yeasty flavor; it has a cheap mouth feel and bad taste. I had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich, and the chicken and sauce were good, nothing noteworthy. I also tried the chili, which had no spicy heat but tasted good for such a mild chili, comparable to a good canned chili (this isn’t really a compliment but the chili was outstanding when compared with the sandwich). Overall I thought this place made Subway look like a quality sub shop, and I think Subway is terrible, this was worse.

Glad to have a good sub sandwich option nearby and I am sure its proximity to Arvada West HS is prime for the store and the students for lunchtime. I like the flavor of these subs. I almost want to say there’s some kind of sauce added to the subs that make these a bit more flavorful than other sub sandwich places, but that’s probably not so. Regardless, the subs are most delightful and the large size can typically afford a second helping for the next day if one has a small appetite at time of purchase.
As of this point, no Gluten Free options for the sub sandwiches. They do have salads and soups as options, of which the salads look quite good. Haven’t sampled the soups yet, but come winter I am sure these will be used more often.
I haven’t used their delivery service, but they deliver during their normal business hours which is from 10am to 12am (midnight). They apparently cater as well, so there’s a menu for that as well.

We were excited to find this sub shop was opening in our area because I had heard about their wonderful hot subs. Unfortunately, hot subs really means hot toppings on room temperature bread, and that was disappointing, as I was hoping to find a place that actually toasted their sandwhich bread. While most of the food is tasty, it sometimes falls short. Specifically, their version of a philly cheesesteak contains «steak» that tastes (on both of the occasions I ordered it) as if it has a peppery overtone much like pastrami meat has. I did not enjoy it for this reason. Still, the menu has a lot of other options I am sure I will enjoy, and the staff is friendly and fast. For those reasons we will go back.

The first few times we ordered, the food was great. Then it started going downhill. Once I ordered a salad and after eating most of it, found a bug in it. When I complained they gave me a free cookie. Not exactly what I wanted. Then there was something really hard in my hot steak sandwich. A few times they have forgotten my bread or crackers with my soup, or brought me chili instead of broccoli cheese soup without notifying me of the change.
The delivery drivers are super nice but are constantly changing. I assume they have a high turnover rate.

Sandwiches never disappoint. Broccoli cheese soup is delightful. Friendly staff. A great addition to the Arvada area!!!
