My general dentist originally referred me to a different endodontist but I read the reviews and didn’t like what I saw so I searched for a endodontist in Ashburn area since that is closer to me. This office had great reviews so I called to scheduled a consultation. The customer service was outstanding starting from speaking to the front desk on the phone to schedule and to the start to finish of my appointment. I got there early and they have refreshments and little snacks in the waiting area. The office itself is fairly new and very nicely decorated. Completed my paperwork online so that made it easy. Got taken back by the assistant and she was good with my toddler and taking my X-​ray because most dental assistants are pretty rough with sticking the film in your mouth. Then Dr. Castro came over and greeted herself and listened to my symptoms. She was very gentle and knowledgable which I really liked! I worked in the dental field so I like when a dentist actually takes the time to educate their patients instead of jumping right into it and going for the $$$. She suggested that I come back in a month for a follow up to see if my teeth feel better by then because I didn’t have a bad reaction to the endo ice. I am thankful for that and it’s hard to find quality dentists nowadays.

Great endodontist! Great staff — great Dr. The root canal was in and out in about 60 mins. Dr Castro explained everything really well and answered all my questions. I am usually not very comfortable at Dentist offices, but I had no issues at Dr Castro’s office. Great experience overall.

I was in and out of the office in only about a hour! I had some minor swelling as expected but nothing that I needed to write home about.
The office décor is modern and inviting and super clean. There’s a fridge cooler with water bottles and also a Keurig for coffee.

I went to my dentist for a tooth ache. He told me I needed a root canal. I scheduled the procedure for later in the week and went on home. A close friend advised me to see a specialist. This is where Dr. Castro enters the story and I am better for it. I felt slightly guilty getting a second opinion since I’ve been going to this dentist for over a decade. After a wonderful consultation, it was determined I did not need a root canal after all. It was a sinus issue causing the tooth pain. Dr. Castro’s professionalism and honesty is top notch. I went back to my dentist the next day to drop off paperwork and he told me that Dr. Castro had called him and explained the results and faxed over the information for my file. We joked that he had «egg on his face» over this. He complimented me for finding such an amazing endodontist and plans on referring patients to Dr. Castro’s practice. I chose to keep my dentists name out of this review out of much respect for him and his practice. I will continue to see him for regular check ups. But if the time comes for a root canal, it will be with Dr. Castro at
