Kiddie Academy of Ashburn

Our daughter attends Kiddie academy and my husband and I are so impressed with this establishment. She is one going on two, and she comes home counting, saying her abc’s, singing her nursery rhymes as well as speaking Spanish. They provide a great curriculum for the children. The only thing if anything would be I wish they had more of an option for children with dairy allergies. Other than that the staff are super friendly and take care of our kids well.

Kiddie Academy is a great place for children to learn and be cared for. The teachers and staff are friendly, understanding and accommodating of the needs of your family. The facility is bright, clean and well cared for. The curriculum is great and my kids have learned so much. They also frequently give you the opportunity to have your kids get involved in different extracurricular activities such as soccer bugs. We are so happy that our kids are part of the Kiddie Academy family.

Kiddie Academy of Ashburn is a clean, organized daycare with an excellent staff who cares about my child. I feel comfortable dropping my child off each day knowing she is getting the proper care and attention. They have daily activities and send photos throughout the day so I know she’s in good hands. Each evening, my husband and I receive a ‘report card’ showing her nap times, feedings and diaper changes along with any special notes. We can also view live feed of our daughters classroom from our phones or computer to check on her at any time of the day. I would definitely recommend Kiddie Academy of Ashburn to other parents!
Areas for improvement: better introduction of the teachers. It would be nice to get to know the people who are with my daughter all day a little better (even though they are wonderful).

I normally don’t write reviews due to being a busy parent. I really have to say that this is by far the best daycare center that i have seen in Loudoun County. I have visited many schools and also enrolled in several before i found this one. Rooms are clean and teachers are wonderful. My son attended the 2s class with Ms Sonya and Ms Attaya they are great teachers they go the extra miles to care for the kids. The director and owner are always there, i have never seen a daycare center that greet you every time you walk in and out of the place. The owner is there most of the time and my son love him. He always hand out stickers to the children very friendly guy. All the staffs in this centers are very friendly.
My son attended this school since Sept 2^nd 2014. I waited for awhile before writing this review. My son used to attend a different school last year, long story short i pull him out b/​c he had a really bad accident in the school. He got hang up in the net of the playground by the neck and was all bruise up he could have died that day due to suffocation. The teachers there didn’t realized that he got caught up in the net when they found out they simply just told him to come down by himself. I was furious when i found out what happened to him so we removed him right away and enroll him in another center. Well he cried every day doing drop off for 2 months at the new center. He was not himself he said he didn’t like the school and the playground. As a parent i was very concern and didn’t know what to do since i just switch school to attend this one and now he didn’t like it. I drove by Kiddie Academy one day and my son said i want to go to this school i like this playground. The next day i called the school and wanted a tour i told the owner my concern that my son has been crying for 2 months doing drop off and he was very helpful. He greet us when my son and i came in for the tour. He work with us on doing just drop in first to see how my son like it. We did one day of drop in and then sign him up for full time. Lets just say the second day of school at Kiddie he already want to come back to school and love his teachers. He is back to himself and love school. We are so glad that we found Kiddle Acadmey and will be staying for a long time. Hope this review helps parents that are looking for a great daycare around this area.

Our son recently started attending Kiddie Academy, and my wife and I couldn’t be happier. My wife and I visited at least 5 other daycares in Ashburn, and Kiddie Academy easily stood out above the rest. All of the staff are fantastic. Karim, the owner, has a vision that is apparent the moment you step inside Kiddie Academy. The staff, who are the most important, in my opinion, because they interact with the children on a daily basis, are all fabulous. They are caring, intelligent, and passionate. Lastly, Kiddie has 2 «extras» that we just love. The first is a camera in every room, where you can watch your kiddos throughout the day, from your computer, phone, or tablet, for free. Second, you get a daily report through an app they use, which lets you know when your kiddo took a nap, when they ate, and even a few photos from throughout the day. If you are looking for the best daycare in the Ashburn area, you owe it to yourself to check out Kiddie Academy!

We taught that kiddie was the right fit for our 3 yr old son. After touring several places we decided to start him here at first a couple of days a week so that he could get use to it then we did full time after 3 weeks … What a bad decision. If you have an active boy look else where. I gave them A fair warning about him being active. They said yes we can take it. i am not trying to be mean but they don’t have degreed teachers that know how to deal with these types of kids. Kiddie says that their teachers have a degree and tons of experience. However, if this were the case 1. I wouldn’t get phone calls stating that my 3yo is not listening because he is going up a slide the wrong way furthermore because he is upset and took his shoes off and «threw them». To add to this I received the call to pick him up ! When I informed the director that I was 40 min away in rush hr time she said may I call one of the emergency contacts? They scared me at first! I said is my son ok? Crying, bleeding, screaming? The answers were no … Once I got there;I was given the explanation that couldn’t risk my son hitting a teacher because this teacher had a medical condition, and that he couldn’t be moving staff around! Wtf! No offense but that teacher needs to go to the infant room not there. I am a full paying customer and daycare is not cheap to be told this! I am very upset with them. To top it all off they had the balls to tell me that I didn’t give them 2 weeks! Are you kidding me? After several incidents of 1 week of my son being here full time I pulled him out that Friday. Please do not go here if your child is active or mildly defiant.
Very disappointed too bad they are not selective with staff, $ 280 a week is a lot of money to pay for a three yo as it is and for them to not give quality care/​education is just disgusting .
This is an honest review I do it with no ill will (in reference to the response below from the school). I was told that the person working with my child had 7 o so years of «experience». However, the phone calls I received did not lead me to think this. I have nothing to loose or gain writing this review. As a parent I would have wanted an honest review… So here it is.

My daughter has been at Kiddie Academy for a few months now (she is almost 5 months old), and I couldn’t be happier. All of the staff — the owner, principal, and educators — are extremely caring, considerate, and smart. They have daily, weekly, and monthly syllabuses and goals for all ages, and really care about each child’s physical and mental health and development. Would I prefer to stay at home? Yes! Kiddie Academy is the next best option for us, though. I trust them to help my husband and me raise a kind and smart little girl.
