This is a great little coffeehouse. I am a tea drinker, but love the smell of roast coffee and was not disappointed. They also had at least six fresh loose herbal teas to choose from. The desserts, salads in a jar and snacks looked amazing. Several cozy spots to lounge, as well as bar areas. They have open mic night and trivia night several times a week. Free wifi for patrons(might need to work here one afternoon). What more could you ask for in a local coffeehouse?

Lovely new place(for us; it opened in October 2015) serving some nice coffees. Their large cups need to be a bit larger, they feel more like a medium-sized drink. The gluten-free lemon loaf is delicious. My daughter tells me their chocolate shakes(hand dipped) are excellent. I went for an Italian roast ‘Pour-over’, which is hand-made by the barista. It takes some time due to the process, but it’s worth the wait. Can’t wait to return to Blend; really like this local place!

I’m a Seattleite that loves her coffee. I love a good coffee shop and trying new ones out. This was a good find. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the coffee is good. It’s a new place around our area and I definitely see myself going more often.

Love The Blend Coffee Bar … so happy to have it here in our community. Also the coffee is so good! Such a big difference in quality than other coffee places nearby. If you are a coffee lover you must give this place a try!

Finally a coffee shop in Ashburn that I can spend hours studying at. I was bummed when the Starbucks in that plaza closed awhile back, and unfortunately, I do not like the coffee enough at Peets to study there. So when Blend finally open, I decided to give it a chance and spend a good few hours studying for finals and trying their coffee. I ended up getting the pour over coffee in the Italian roast. It was okay. I’ll probably try the latte next time. I also purchased a breakfast sandwich, which was also okay. I think the place is still working out some kinks, seeing as it’s a new place. I gave them 4 stars because the staff working the day I went was awesome! They kept checking up on me and where super nice. Needless to say, I’ll be back.

Am sorry to say I have found better. I really, really want to find a great small business coffee shop with irresistible coffee… so wanted to love the coffee I had here, but unfortunately not to my taste. I sincerely wish the owners well, but shall not be back myself. Sorry.

Came here for the first time yesterday and loved it! Had a really yummy dirty chai(chai latte with a shot of espresso) and sat in one of their very comfy chairs. The décor is super cool and it is very roomy. Not only do they serve great coffee and tea, but they also serve wine, beer, and food. Never been to another place that has it all! I can’t wait to come back and enjoy the patio when the weather is warmer!

Can’t think of anything negative about this place! It’s so comfy, good food, great ambiance, fantastic staff! I spent a good 5 hours there just reading and working on stuff. The only suggestion I would make is maybe add more seating, it got a bit tight when I was there but didn’t mind moving for the big group that needed the space!

Decided to check this place out when i saw Panera overcrowded AF(nope) and had the best coffee time with my mom and daughter. The little one munched on sprinkles and icing while i interviewed my mom using the conversation cards on the table. I had a charming coffee break, one that i’ll never have at Panera. Unless lunch is involved, this is my go to coffee spot, for sure. The house blend is self serve. It has a weaker body than i prefer, but drinks velvety-smooth. I am looking forward to tasting all they have to offer, in the very near future. The décor is very unique, with many charming notes through out. Please come check it out. This place is cute as hell! They keep games and such around, that i cant wait to come back and play with. I am so excited for summer, when we will be able to enjoy the ample patio seating.

This place is the only one in the neighborhood that serves pour over. They have a pretty decent selection of beans including Ethiopian, Kenyan and Colombian. Most of them were dark roast. I had a Cortado(off the menu). The espresso was pretty strong. It was a little too bitter for me personally. The Lady in the coffee shop seems like as genuine coffee lover. I give them five stars for the customer service and four stars for the coffee.

A very nice décor and good coffee. A healthy break/change from the Starbucks régime! I have not tried their snacks or dessert, but they all looked delicious. A great addition to our neighborhood.

I came today after a doctors appointment for a quick cup of coffee. I was planning on grabbing it and hitting the road, but the décor was so adorable I stuck around. My cold brew coffee was delicious, and they had soy milk on hand. I also wanted a small yogurt as opposed to the large ones that were out, so the owner made me a small herself fresh! I was blown away by that small gesture, and this business definitely has my support. It wasn’t too crowded either, perfect place to sip some coffee and get some work done. Great addition to Ashburn!

We went there late one night 15 min before they were about to close(not knowingly). They were very sweet and made us feel welcome. We had a salad, pastries and a bottle of wine and all of it was excellent. I love that this place is not a chain and is very hip and has something for everyone. We will go back to try the coffee next time. I highly recommend giving the Blend a try.

Great local coffee shop with outlets EVERYWHERE, pourover coffee(Google it) and lots of variety with the brews they have available. They also have adult beverages, live music on the weekends and some lighter fare food.

My husband and I love coming to this locally owned coffee shop. The décor is eclectic and welcoming. My husband drinks his coffee black and noticed that the coffee at Blend never taste stale or burnt. I personally love their flavored lattes and the option to substitute diary for coconut or almond milk. The lattes are different from their typical corporate competitors. The taste of the espresso is more pronounced, and it isn’t as sweet. I personally prefer my lattes this way. They have a honey cardamom latte which is unique to Blend. I love the two ingredients, but I wasn’t sure about ordering a full cup of it. One of the owners made a sample of it for me to try and I loved it! It is has become one of my favorites.

Love coffee, so we tried this little place at southern walk plaza… I know it’s new so I am keeping that in mind. It’s really nice and urban looking inside. The place has an area for kids to hangout in the back. However, the leather seating is oddly place sort of in the middle of the coffee area. Perhaps more tables would be nicer. Anyway the coffee and latte is ok but nothing special. I personally find Starbucks makes awesome latte’s. We paid about $ 4 or so for a cup of coffee It was not a blow me away experience. We went on a day when school was out and the owner and employee had their kids there who kept asking the parents for drinks, food, attention in general. So, that might explain the slow service as well!

Nice spot in the suburbs; I wish there would be more of these in the area; there were sofas and lounge areas as well; espresso was great!

Really cool addition to the neighborhood, FINALLY a coffee shop with character and originality. Delicious spicy sausage sandwich tastes like it came from moms kitchen-are with farm fresh eggs, savory sausage and lots of love. The locally made macaroons and salad jars add yet another special touch! But none of that means anything if the coffee ain’t great, which, happy to say, it IS. Ask for extra hot if you like it boiling like my husband does. Don’t come in a hurry and expect instant corporate chain assembly line service. This is a place to see your neighbors and enjoy a leisurely experience at a corner coffee shop. Relax. Read the paper. Talk to friends and family. Just enjoy yourself here and take a load off. I’ll reserve the 5th star for after the full menu is available and the«just opened» little kinks are worked out, but it’s off to a wonderful start!

Absolutely love the décor and ambiance. super creative in how they converted a ‘garage’ into a nice dine-in area with different types of seating. They also offer outdoor sitting. The coffee is a little on the high end, but they offer good taste and variety. The staff is very welcoming and polite and do take their time to explain their products. I have tried their iced mochas and iced latte, and I would surely go back to them. I am glad someone is breaking the chain of the chain restaurants in the Ashburn area!
