I have been using Maid in Virginia for 5 months and I plan to continue using them! Over time I have tried 4+ other local cleaners and this is the first service with which I have really been satisfied. I don’t expect a cleaning service to be «perfect,» it is inevitable that my shampoos will be put back in a different location or a dusting will be missed here or there. What matters to me is the fact that after service, I’m able to come home to a clean house and I’m not picking up scrub brushes. I have consistently had the same crew and they have been very respectful of my home. Today a coffee pot broke and before I got home there was already a new one on my front door along with an apology note(I had already been warned via email). When I have made specific requests the crew has been responsive and flexible to make those changes. Very, very happy and I have definitely recommended them to other people.

Maid in Virginia of Ashburn are PHENOMENAL! I have been with Maid in Virgina for 5+ years and have had SUPERIOR service every time they have come to my home. The crew arrives on time, prepared for the tasks to be accomplished and gets right to work. The owner, stops by a little while after the crew has begun to work to ensure that all of my needs are addressed. GREAT personal service! The Maid in Virginia website is very user friendly for information, communication as well as to complete payments. Do your research when engaging a service! Maid in Virginia of Ashburn carries Magic Service Seal of Approval as well as an overall«A» rating on Angie’s List! I will continue to use Maid in Virginia of Ashburn for MANY years to come!!!

We were clients of Maid in Virginia for nearly 2yrs. During that time, we had several frustrating experiences and attempted to work with the(two different) owners. Things would improve for maybe a month, then slide back to unsatisfactory. Repeated complaints — like lights left on all day, the shower nozzle left in the wrong position, and window ledges left untouched for months at a time — were just that: repeated complaints. One service, the owner had to come back and change the sheets; the cleaners had decided the sheets being placed inside a pillowcase on the bed meant it was a pillow, not a signal to change the sheets. We got tired of having to micromanage the service. The last time we brought this up to the owner, we learned just what a joke their ‘guarantee’ of service is. We were chastised for our complaints and essentially told our demands(lights off, sheets not left hanging out, etc) were ridiculous. We were literally told they felt they were doing the best service and responsiveness possible. It was implied our expectations for a cleaning company were unrealistic. Well, my mother ran her own cleaning company when I was a child, so yeah, I actually do know what is appropriate to expect from a cleaning company. Heck, I know what is expected from any company: customer responsiveness and learning from your mistakes instead of integrating them into SOP. As I told the owner, we got tired of paying full price for half-@$%ed service. She encouraged us to move on. We already had.
