I’ve been coming here for years but now since I work right near here, I’ve frequented a few more times. The food is always consistently mediocre. The hummus is a bit tasteless but the pita is good. All the salads are served with garlic bread and I’m not sure why, it’s pretty irrelevant. The portions here are massive for the price, so be expecting leftovers! I enjoy the gyro salad but half the times the lettuce is wilted and tasteless. The gyro meat is a bit greasy sometimes as well, something I know comes with the territories but it almost drips off the meat and the ratio of meat to salad will make any carnivore happy. The service is polite and nice but last time I was here I asked for a to-go box and when it came out, there was grease already on the inside which is a bit strange.

I almost hate to post this review because«The Breeze» feels like my little secret in Ashburn. Since Rt. 7 was closed off to Ashburn Rd, through traffic has decreased and I think it did noticeable damage to MB’s business, so I’m glad it has stayed open. For lunch, they offer a bunch of different subs and salads that area all good– their gyros and souvlaki are great, as is the steak and cheese sub. Dinner– I like everything on the menu except the kabob, which was dry and just not very flavorful the times I’ve had it. The lamb chops are probably my favorite– get them cooked rare and they are terrific; the Italian dishes like chicken marsala, spaghetti and chicken parm are very good too. I love that they have a salad bar, it may be small but there is plenty on there and it is always fresh. Breakfast! I chuckle at the thought of standing in line at iHop on a Sunday morning and waiting for what is really no better than McDonald’s breakfast when you go go to The Breeze, sit right away and enjoy a fresh, homemade breakfast of just about anything you want. The servers are always very, very nice and extremely helpful. Keep up the great work Breeze!

As a walk in for take out, Terry was very nice. I was looking at the baklava and next thing I know he’s giving it to me. He asked me if I ever tried a Greek custard dessert and when I said no, he’s putting it in my bag and refused to take money for it. I wanted to devour it right there but I’m saving it for after my fiancée goes to bed!

While I can understand things happen what I can’t understand is being told someone will do something and don’t do it. So here is my review of Mediterranean Breeze. Ordered delivery for lunch, falafel sandwich, onion rings, a coke, and iced tea. Food arrives in one bag with fountain drink cups standing on top of the foam food box. Driver tells me «oh sorry the iced tea is spilled in the bottom of the bag» and takes off. Im left with an iced tea mess. I called the company to tell them about my experience since they decided to save the money of an extra bag and was told my charge would be reversed. Looking at my credit card statement and still not seeing a charge back. The little bit of the falafel that was not marinated in iced tea had no taste and the presentation was extremely sloppy. I would have let all of this go if the place of business did as they said and refunded the money but how I hope this review will help others think twice.

Stopped by after a busy day in the city for dinner. Haven’t seen a self serve salad bar for years so that was new and exciting. Everything was fresh on the bar and taken care of. Pizza was very good… It’s Greek so expect the thicker crust which I enjoy. I can only give 3 stars for the purpose I got the Blackend Ahi Tuna and asked for Rare… What came was mid well and very tough, I Couldn’t even finish it… Hence my opinion on the pizza my son ordered. Other than that it was nice. Cook just needs to watch his temps

The most amazing food and staff. The owner of this place is such an amazing host. I feel like I’m part of his family when I eat there. Thank you for an amazing dining experience Mediterranean Breeze!

What a dissapointing meal. The menu and reviews were promising but it was one of the worst take outs I’ve had in a while. Calamari was chewy, cold, partially wet from defrosting under the greasy batter, and poorly cooked. Yes, I know its not the best takeout choice since its best straight from the kitchen but, even allowing for that it was dreadful. Chicken in the kebabs was undercooked and also cold. My husband’s food was a bit better but not much. Yes, I should have taken it back and complained but that’s not how I wanted to spend the evening. Let my experience save you cash and dissapointment.

We love this place! We get takeout or eat in at least once a month. The servers are always responsive and they have the best gyros in town! There is never a wait, so we feel that we have our own hidden gem! Their hummus is also terrific. Visit today and you won’t be disappointed!

We’ve been coming here since Terry opened in 2004 and still LOVEIT! Consistently YUMMY! Family always has to go to ‘The Breeze’ when they visit. Fast-n-Fresh delivery. Warm and Welcoming to dine-in. A true Gem in Ashburn!

SAVEYOURMONEY! I work hard for my money and I am so upset I wasted $ 45 on a meal for 2. The food took over an hour to get here. They forgot the root beer that we ordered. Also the food was gold and chicken was dry. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else. I knew I should have stayed away when I say they have, Greek food, pizza etc… Since when do Greek restaurants serve pizza??? STAYAWAY

Blehhhhhh tasteless bland food. The only thing worth trying is their lamb chops… mousakka was average. I highly recommend Nick’s Taverna over this place!

Went here for dinner the other night. What a value! Ended up getting about 4 – 5 meals worth of food out of two meals, especially given a lot of the dinners come with the salad bar, which is put together quite well with a lot of fresh options. I thought everything was really tasty and flavorful. My only complaint is that the gyro meat was a little TOO thinly sliced(yes, I know it is supposed to be, but this was almost transparent in places) and therefore kind of dried out. They’re also not the fastest. The food, especially the sauces, are seasoned to perfection, though. It won’t be a staple, but I’ll probably come back here sometime.

Had dinner recently in their serene outdoor patio. It was very a very nice atmosphere. We all enjoyed it very much. The food was homemade and delicious. The appetizers of Zuchini. Lamb Malanek, Tzatziki and Saganaki were excellent and plentiful. The Saganaki is the most generous portion in the area. We all enjoyed our entre which was lamb chops. Delicious and plentiful. It was worth the drive.

I go to many greek restaurants. Probably at least 3 a month. This one did not disappoint. It wasn’t the best I’ve been to; however, everything was fresh and tasty and the service was pleasant. We got some saganaki, chicken souvlaki, & gyros sandwich. I also had a margarita. Everything tasted good and the prices were average. I was sad to see the muscles were no longer available. This was my first time here and I wanted to try them based on good reviews about them; however, they are no longer being sold. Service and atmosphere were nice. Perhaps a little dated feeling. Only in the fact that it seems a bit«old». But nicely decorated and welcoming. Overall worth a visit!

Had an awful meal on 7/6, so I emailed them to let them know. About 30 minutes later I received a call from Terry who is the owner. He was so apologetic and friendly. Seemed to be very embarrassed of the issues that happened with my food. He told me to come in for a meal on him. So I did. He offered me a glass of wine and a fresh new meal on him. He was so friendly and kept apologizing! Very sweet guy. My Food was perfect when I got home to eat it. I will keep being a loyal customer!

Brunch Buffet Review I had negative experience at their Sunday brunch. Arrived at noon for a brunch that is scheduled to end at 2. They hardly refreshed the food and by 1:30 the buffet was taken away. While I was there, they only added some bacon to the chafing dishes. Otherwise, hours-old sweaty and cold egg casseroles sat sadly in their bins, getting passed over by dozens of diners without even so much as a stir from the staff. 1 half of a hardened biscuit served its sentence next to the half an inch of gravy that was mostly gelatinous surface skin. And the service was terrible. No one came to take our plates. I had to find my own ketchup and fork. I don’t think anyone was assigned to our table — it was just catch as catch can to make eye contact with an employee. I suggest the restaurant commit to the brunch, or commit to Mediterranean food. Asking the kitchen to do both left no one happy. People came in, saw the depressing buffet and ordered gyros. As a result, the unpopular spread was left fallow. I think if they focused on a successful buffet, it would be… successful. Won’t go back.

I think the food is very passable and the service was very responsive and friendly. My Pasta Primavera wasn’t all that to write glowing reviews and my kids only ate chicken fingers and fries so no review going on here for that. The atmosphere is verges on a little too much on murals and of the Mediterranean feel but well attended and a lot of families enjoying their dinners.

I came here few times only for breakfast, and they are solid overall. However, their hollandaise sauce, though homemade, is below average and below average. Just one more thing, on the menu it advertises«fresh squeezed orange juice» and they end up bringing juice off a bottle, the server confirmed. Please keep it honest.
