Palm Beach Tan

I went in there today & had a very nice experience. I don’t remember the girls name at the front desk but she was very helpful. I had never tanned before using a bed & she answered all my questions I seemed to have. She helped me choose what was right for me based on how tan I already am. The place itself was very clean which is always a plus. The beds seemed to be kept in good condition & mine was cleaned & ready to go for me. I would recommend this tanning salon to family & friends.

They are all such nice people. They learn who you are by name!
I never tanned before and they were so helpful, been tanning for about a month now, and I’m finally getting a good solid bronze color (I use the platinum beds).
It took a while to build up, especially since I went from pale post winter, to tan, now bronzing.
I strongly recommend this place, and the prices are very hard to beat!

I walked in not knowing about the nuances of tanning since I last tanned when I was a teenager, but my post Bachelorette tan line had to be dealt with before my wedding.
Rachel was very kind and patient and explained all of the beds and what their differences were as well as all of the packages and what they included. she also recommended lotions for fair skin and for me to start out with a low minute setting to get used to the bed rather than having me full blast 20 minutes and I really appreciated that because I don’t tan like I did when I was a teenager. the monthly special is a pretty good deal and you get $ 20 off of your lotion.
I went with the bronze package for $ 19.95 a month and felt like I was very well informed before I set foot in the bed. If you are in to tanning regularly or just need it for a short period time I recommend seeing Rachel at Palm Beach tan

The staff is very helpful and friendly. They will take the time to walk you through all the possible programs.
The beds seem to be clean but the floor could use a good scrubbing. I had been going a few times a week and saw the same drop of tanning lotion on the floor each day. Makes me cringe to be barefooted on the floor. Keep your flip flops on.
The lotions are horrifically expensive. I buy the exact same thing on Amazon for a third of the price. They say that the ingredients are not as good, but I find it all works the same.
Over all, it’s kind of expensive, but it’s the only one in town. And the friendly staff keeps me coming back.

I went to Palm Beach Tan because of their recent advertising on the radio. I wanted to try their $ 10.00 spray tan they were advertising. When I called they seemed irritated that i was asking for the special and kept telling me I had to be a new customer and be sure to bring the coupon in. I brought the coupon in but Really? You have been advertising this on the radio all week long. The girl at the desk talked a mile a minute and I had no idea of the packages they offered or what she was referring too. She pointed to packages on a sheet but never bothered to slow down or explain what the cost was for. Just kept pushing the monthly packages, lotions, and upgrades. I may have bought something else if I truly understood what they were for. She seemed like a robot just repeating what she was told to say. Of course the 10.00 spray tan was really 15.00…
It was not busy when I arrived or left. So not really sure why everyone seemed so rushed.
Palm Beach Tan needs to work on their phone skills. They are quite rude when you call and ask questions!

I had the displeasure of visiting Palm Beach Tan several times. My membership at another location was transferred to Palm Beach when they were sold. I had a membership for Mystic. When I went to Palm Beach I was told that my membership has transferred to 3 ‘bed tans’ which I do not do. I talked with the person working that day, and then to the manager twice after that. The manager told me that she would take care of it and get right back to me. I am still waiting for that call, 6 months after contacting them repeatedly. Their prices are much higher than comparable locations and obviously their customer service is severely lacking. I would not recommend this chain.

I had the best tanning experience ever! Their prices are soooo much better than other salons in the area! Memberships range from $ 30-​$ 90 depending on what bed or spray tan you want to do. They told me today that through the 14^th they are also waving any startup fees associated with the memberships! I dealt with the manager Julia who was so accommodating! She was super sweet… and showed me the best lotions to use for the tan that I want. I recommend this tanning salon to everybody. Ask for Julia!
