Peet’s Coffee & Tea

Great addition to the area. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff. I just drink black coffee, and their dark roast is phenomenal. Tried the cinnamon scone and it was horrible but I’m giving them a pass on that because everything else about the place makes up for one bad food item. But seriously, fix that scone recipe. :) My little man loves the kids hot chocolate so there you go. Enjoy.

I really like Peets coffee. Got hooked on when visiting family in California. I’m so happy they have spread so much in recent years. The employees at this location all seem happy to be there. I was met with warm smiles and friendly hellos. Gretchen took my order and she was very, very nice. All of them acknowledged me in some way, I felt like a regular when it was my first time in this location. Will becoming regular here for sure.

Have to say… From the well-​lit, clean atmosphere to the well-​versed barista, I’m COMING BACK! I loved the latte. I usually have starbucks, but I might just have to switch teams. This roast is not the darker, slightly acidic/​burnt flavor I am used to with s-​bux. Latte was smooth and foam was terrific! Barista was also full of knowledge, engaged us in conversation, told us a few tidbits about their roasting and wasn’t pushy or too intrusive. He was awesome and it just felt like a much more inviting experience than the other place I usually go. Really glad I gave this place a shot!

Really like this place. Great location, next to new Whole Foods in Ashburn/​Lansdowne.
My wife and I like to go hang out and read in this coffee shop. Not as cozy as I’d like – not enough comfy sofas, but there’s a bar along the window that gets the job done. Will upload pic of inside next time I go so people can see the layout if they want to go work/​study there sometime.

I love The Peet’s coffee to make at home, but I don’t find this location to be anything special. I was disappointed that the blueberries that come with the oatmeal are processed with sugar and corn syrup and the almonds with oil! I’ve tried this place three times. One strange thing is that the temperature is always cold inside.

First time at Peet’s. Enjoyed the salted caramel latte. A little too salty for my taste, but still a great quality cup of coffee. Being a chain coffee store I was pleasantly surprised to see some latte art! The customer service gets a thumbs up from me as well. As soon as I walked in, I browsed their selection of coffee makers (chemex, French press, etc.), and I was greeted by a friendly employee who offered help right away. Overall, good job, Peet’s!

I went in with a Groupon and since it was my first time ever going to Peet’s (even though, yes, I realize they are EVERYWHERE) and I was a bit unsure. The guy that helped us was amazing and patient (even when I realized I left my phone with the Groupon in the car and had to run out to get it). He let my husband and me try their dark and light roast coffees which was nice because I ended up getting dark and my husband light. So I got the dark with some peppermint mocha syrup in it and my husband got the light roast without syrup. We ordered a coffee-​free, vanilla blended thing for the kids and they were kind enough to let us order one and split it into two cups because my kids NEVER finish one by themselves.
Our total was a bit under $ 10 which I thought was a decent price for 2 coffee and a blended thing split into two cups. The inside is nice but reminds me SO much of Starbucks – I think the shelves are even the same! They have a good variety of coffee, K Cups, mugs/​tumblers, and snacks for sale. It was difficult for me not to buy some of the peppermint bark I saw.
Overall I was impressed. It seemed pretty relax, kind, calm, and decent prices. I would go again. They had a few sofas (not many, maybe 3?) but a HUGE table in the back which was nice if you’re in a big group or if you have work and you need some took to spread out.

This is a new Peet’s located next to the Unleashed by Petco.
Plenty of seating inside and out, drinks are delish and staff are friendly!

Been here twice. I enjoy the coffee. They have light, medium and dark roast, decaf, the usual espresso drinks, and some baked goods. Staff is fri

No greeting. Non one seemed to care inward in the store. Stood at the front counter for over a minute with no egg knowledge meant from anybody that I was there. The girl was too busy putting away pans and other things. When she did approach me, all she said was «what can I get you?».
If you want to take on Starbucks, and even the coffee bar at Whole Foods, you’re going to need to bring your A game. And this wasn’t it.
