Virginia Tire & Auto of Ashburn – One Loudoun

These guys are the best! I hit a pot hole and bent my tire rim a couple months ago
. I limped into their lot and they quickly assessed the damage and put on the spare since they didn’t have the part at the time. I wasn’t aware that they were going to put on the spare for me for free while I left the car there for them to look at. My trunk was a mess and I had about 100 items on top of the spare tire hatch. Their mechanics emptied my trunk and put everything back in its place. I will definitely be back for other service work.

Thank you for your responce, I’ve used your location by the Ashburn ice house for a few things here and there and never had any real issue like this. However that being said, after my issue I was speaking with co-​workers as I work in the one Loudoun area and had 2 coworkers who both needed a flat repair and were told something like $ 40 or $ 45 to plug a tire. I’ve never had a shop charge more then $ 20 to plug/​patch a tire. This is just another notch in the corporate cash is king shop. So again thanks for wanting to fix my issue but it seems I’m not the only one. I am the only one to post on here. And to me first impressions are everything, and mine at this shop was disappointing and had me drive a few miles to another shop who treated me with more respect and didn’t try to sell services that a car with 30k miles didn’t need.

Fantastic! I’ll be honest, I wasn’t crazy about one of these places opening in my neighborhood but I’m glad they did. I’ve used them for repairs, tire purchase, and state inspection. They always seem to be able to fit me in right away and they are always friendly. When I bought tires for my Rover I requested a brand that wasn’t in stock and was willing to wait. Instead, they sent a van to another store and had them on my truck in less than four hours (for the same price as tire rack). Very impressive. I’ll be a customer for life.

If I could put 100 stars I would. Such class and customer service. My battery was dead one morning and they offered to have have a technician come out and change my battery in my garage.

We have had work done here because it is so close to our house. I can’t say how convenient it is to have them almost in our backyard. I give it a three star rating because i’m just not quite sure about them. We had AC problems in our Ford and they patched it and we thought it was fixed. Well, two weeks later it drained out. So we put in a new unit. I wish that they had been more clear when we picked the truck up that that was a possibility so it was shocking when we had to invest that much after we thought it was fixed. We tried again in June when we needed new tires again. We had been using Goodyear in Sterling and we had just had rotors and brakes put on the truck A little over a year ago. So on top of the new tires they replaced the brake pads and told us we had plenty of time before the rotors went. Tonight the rotors went! And it has only been a little over two months. I am bringing it in tomorrow and if all goes well I will upgrade this rating. It’s a hard call because most of us know nothing about cars or trucks and we just have to trust that they are being honest with us. I feel like they are, but again I’m just not sure. I know if you’re like me and you live close to them, you really really want it to work out. Me too. I’ll update you if you days.

They were awesome! They did great work we drove the truck in at 7:30 and had it back by 10:30 AM. Customer service was awesome. Roger was awesome. I wish I could remember the guys name who actually worked on the truck as well but I can’t and I’m sorry for that but he was fantastic. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. I have 3 cars/​trucks and I will bring them all in. I also have to say that we were with them from the very beginning and all new businesses take a little time to work out certain issues. For me, I feel like they worked all the kinks out. I am a happy customer and when I price matched them with other auto mechanics they Were $ 200 below all the others for brakes and rotors, brake flush, tire rotation, And inspection. And don’t forget it was all done in three hours and the truck drives like a dream.

It’s about their atmosphere… You would never feel like you are in a tight room with hard working mechanic guys that are trying to sell you oil change instead they are suit-​tie people who are way nicer and professional. They offer refreshments such as coffee, coke, and water for free!!! Apples if you are hungry. Anyways my oil change took me about 30 mins. No hassle, no disappointment, no nothing.

This place is great! I was actually really surprised with the customer service, just because I didn’t know anything and I had a lot of questions. But sure enough Daniel answered every last one of them and was super helpful. I live really close so I dropped my car off and was suppose to take the shuffle home. One of the employees ended up taking me home in MY car (he drove). I didn’t like that at all.

Steven, Carlos, and Sarah were all extremely helpful. My mother rants and raves about VA tire and auto and now I see why. I will continue to use them for all of my automotive needs. I work and live locally and will tell everyone to use the One Loudon location.

I pulled in just after closing to use the free air service. While airing my front tire the valve stem snapped off and the tire deflated. The folks inside saw what happened and opened back up, put my car on the lift and replaced my valve. They didn’t have to but they did and saved me a lot of hassle and grief. I will be going back! That is what customer service is supposed to be like.

I have come to this place because of a great mechanic, named Julian Salazar. He’s very kind, conscientious, professional and patient. I told Steve, their area manager to take care of him. Am just part of a group of friends who have come & known him so well to take care of our vehicles.

Very, very slow compared to the Ashburn Rink store. Will not be back to this location.

I used to go to VA Tire and Auto Ashburn Road but this location is now closer to my home so I called VA Tire and Auto One Loudoun around 4:30 PM and talk to a guy name Carlos and asked him if I can come for an oil change walk-​in. He said no problem, you can come any time before 5:30 PM and we will take care of you.
I arrived at the shop at 5:05 PM and was told that they cannot do the oil change.
They should have told me before I was coming so that I would no waste my time.
I feel they should not tell me to come and then deny the service.

My new «go to» car place! I’ve taken my car to the dealership for service since I bought it and was tired of paying what I was paying and constantly getting uphold on things. I went here and they weren’t pushy at all but very informative and welcoming. The waiting room was pleasant and the wait was reasonable. I liked that I was able to get my car inspected while I was there. Best part, free Diet Coke and water!

I’ve been going to both Ashburn locations for the past five years. Amazing service, every time all the time. They will match competitors coupons too.

Longest oil change I’ve ever had to wait for in my 7 years of owning a car. There were 2 cars being worked on with plenty of open stalls when I got here, but they didn’t even move my car for 20 minutes after I gave them the keys. I also stood at the counter for 5 minutes waiting to be helped while I heard people in the back office simply carrying on with no regard for the customers. Nobody here is in any hurry to complete the necessary work on your car. Suggest going somewhere else if you can.

Love this brand new Virginia tire and auto! The place is so clean, bright, and welcoming, they even offer apples and coffee in their waiting room. They have many garages so the service is quick. the staff is trust worthy and you can leave knowing your car has been taken care of. This is my go to spot for anything I need done on my car, whether it’s just an oil change or I have the misfortune of needing a new alternator (ugh) at least I know it was in good hands and is now as good as new!

I have used the VA Tire in Cascades in the past. I decided to try this new one to simply get a tire patched where a nail was clearly visible in the tread.
We dropped the car off on Saturday and decided to get an oil change as well.
An hour later, I got a call stating they could not patch the tire because they felt the nail was too close to the sidewall. (This was BS, the nail was 1.5 inches from the edge of the tire into the tread.) He went on to say that I needed to do at least 2 tires, but the car would shake, so he recommends 4 tires. Not only that, the break pads were thin, and the rotors had rust on it, so all 4 breaks and rotors should be changed. He said I also needed a front end alignment. (I have not had any issues with brakes, sequel or felt wobble in the front end)
In other words, Instead of a patch which should have been approx $ 15, they feel I need $ 1,700 worth of work. They did not even give me an option of getting me back on the road and letting me shop around. WOW!
I Finally told them to put the spare on and retrieved my car. I refused to get ripped off by repair men who are obviously incentive driven by up-​selling.
Later that afternoon, I took it to another shop, they put a patch on the tire, and all is good. (for less than $ 10).
We reviewed VA tires recommendations. He said I should think of getting new rear tires in the next several thousand miles, and the front tread has about 8K more miles before they are worn. The breaks still have adequate surface, and will probably need replacement in the next 6 – 12 months (I just had the car inspected, and tires and breaks were passed)
I am back on the road and all is good.
A word to the wise, find a mechanic you can trust. The new One Loudoun VA Tire and Auto shop will never get my business again.

I’ve previously used Virginia Tire & Auto Cascades, but this new location was closer to my house. I was very happy with Virginia Tire & Auto before when I used them and had no inkling this experience would be any different.
Oh how wrong I was.
I made an appointment for 5PM and arrived about 4:50. Was greeted by Roger who I had spoken to in the phone, nice guy, very friendly. He took my keys and said they’d try to have it done quickly. Their location closes at 6PM so that’s some extra motivation.
My car didn’t even move from where I left it until 5:30PM. When 6PM rolled around, and I had literally exhausted all of my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram checking, I asked what the status was. I was told that my car takes longer because there is a plate on the bottom that has to be removed and then put back on. To which I asked if they were running behind since my car wasn’t even touched until 5:30. They had nothing to say to that.
At 10 after 6PM, Roger told me they would comp the oil change (I have given them an additional star for doing that). He wasn’t sure why it was taking so long. Five minutes later, a tech came up with the key who must’ve overhead part of the conversation because he also tried to say the delay was due to the plate and the like, fifteen screws that have to be removed. Roger, to his credit, ignored him. Since I have taken this exact same car to the other VA Tire & Auto in Cascades, and that oil change took 35 minutes, I know it can be done.
I appreciate the effort the front desk took in comping the oil change, but I probably will not return to this location.

This is my go to spot for all my car needs. The environment is clean and welcoming and the staff here is always very friendly and helpful. I couldn’t imagine car issues being easy but they really make it less of a hassle. I’m not 100% sure if this location offers the shuttle service but the location in Centreville off route 29 does and it’s wonderful, if your car is going to be here for a while and you don’t want to sit and wait. Their waiting room is very comfortable, nice chairs everything is clean and new so waiting for a tire or oil change is easy. They offer refreshments, coffee and water, while you wait. If you have little guys with you then they even have a little play place for them. I highly recommend these guys to anyone they are fair and honest.
