We have used Ashburn Service & Tire Center for a few years now and have been very happy with the service we have received. There is always a friendly face to greet you and help with any issues. We will keep returning year after year!

I have been bringing my cars and trucks here for over a decade. These folks are fair and honest. I am an engineer. I tried a couple of other shops before finding them. The others tried to convince me to do things that did not need to be done. I feel sorry for people who don’t understand card and technology. Places like that can really take advantage of people. I believe you can really trust these folks.

Solid. Good rates. No up sells and professional. What else can you ask for? Only downside is they take a bit longer than they say but that is par for the course for all auto places.

This shop seems to have changed ownership and now operates under the name ECCC. Since this change, there has been a real 180. I dropped my car off for an oil change and tire rotation. They called me to come pick it up. Two minutes after my husband drove off, they figured out they’d never even touched the vehicle, just put the paperwork in the wrong bin.
We gave them another second chance and took our older farm truck in for some electrical repairs. My husband told them exactly what was wrong with it, but they insisted on billing him for an hour of ‘diagnostics’ on the electrical system. Previously this cost was applied to any work you had done for said electrical issues, but they changed that policy and did not inform us until after the work was done. They also failed to ever call us with updates on the status of the vehicle.
Prices have jumped. Customer service has, as well. Unfortunately, they are moving in the opposite direction from each other and our trust has been irrecoverably eroded after the two issues above. We’re in the market for a new mechanic.

Oil changes and inspections: the two main reasons I bring my vehicle here.
Most auto places have me on the defensive since it’s hard to find honest mechanics. I remember my first time here being hesitant about them as they did an oil change for me and claimed there was a small oil leak. It wasn’t severe but they said it should be repaired sooner rather than later. Thinking I was being swindled, I told them I wanted a second opinion. I took it to a mechanic in Leesburg and they took a look at the vehicle. The mechanic in Leesburg has been working on vehicles for my parents and I trusted their judgment. Sure enough, he said the same thing that Ashburn Service & Tire Center claimed: there was a small oil leak. Even though I decided to have it fixed in Leesburg, it let me know that I could trust this place in particular.
That was back in 2014. I’m finally glad there’s a reliable auto mechanic that is close to where I live and I don’t have to drive all the way to Leesburg. I got my oil changed here a few weeks ago and it went smoothly. My only gripe is they didn’t call me to tell me it was complete. I came back right before they closed and fortunately it was complete. I’ll just call next time and double check.

I had a safely inspection done by these guys. They were quick, courteous and knowledgable (I was out of there in less than 30 minutes which is much faster than other shops in Ashburn) I look forward to using them for any future car services.

I wonder it keeps showing this place… Nope… Not really my place!

I definitely like coming here. They are honest and upfront with you. I dont feel like they take advantage of me because I am a female. I’ve never had any problems with them.

This review is LONG overdue… When you are a senior citizen who rarely drives except to a 1 – 2 miles to a doctor’s appt or the local Harris Teether, then finding a mechanic can be quite the challenge. Unilocalers come to the rescue!
My folks had an issue with their car, and the tow truck driver recommended a place about 10 miles away from my folks house. That did not fly with us because they couldn’t get a ride back to pick up their car. Thanks to the few reviews written about Ashburn Service & Tire Center, we gambled on bringing their car here. AND. SO. GLAD. WE. DID…
The staff is wonderful. They are truly a class act! They give you the nitty gritty of your vehicle’s issues and quote you the price. They are true to their word when it comes to repair timeframe, and if you decide to call on progress, you get to speak with someone who is aware of your car’s situation.
They are located in the Giant grocery store shopping center. They advertise that they offer local pickup/​and drop off. We have not used that service but I’m sure they will oblige if needed. We have brought my folks car here for regular service, state inspections and big issues.

Very happy with their service. I don’t feel I am being lied to in order to make a sale. The guy at the front desk is great. Super friendly and a good sense of humor. They have shuttle service and the man I had was very courteous. The place is always busy!

I can’t complain about the prices or the service, but I had a 4:00 appointment, showed up on time and it took two hours to do a routine maintenance… oil, filter, etc. It’s not like I just showed up with no advance notice. My time is just as valuable as yours. I’ve used Jiffy Lube before and 15 minutes and you’re out the door. I’ve got to rethink whether it’s worth going back.

After having an extremely poor experience with another shop in the area (see my other reviews for which one) I thought it only fair I review the place that currently has my trust for my automotive repair needs.
Last month I took our Honda Civic in for some squeaky brakes. I knew at a minimum it needed pads and likely rotors turned but wasn’t prepared for what they came back with. It was a rather lengthy list of items, some that were required and others that were suggested. I was hesitant when they told me I needed new rotors and that the cost was going to be a few hundred more than I was originally expecting. I reluctantly authorized the work on the needed items and then authorized a couple, but not all, items I felt the car could use but that were optional.
The cool part of all this is that i also received an automated email from them with pictures of the problems. Having a mechanical background I’m quite familiar with cars so I’m always hesitant when someone tells me the car needs something. But to see the pictures as proof of what it needed brought me the comfort I was looking for in building trust in ASTC. After this I felt way more comfortable in the work I had just authorized as I could see in the pics the issues they had described to me on the phone and I could recognize for myself that the work needed doing.
Since this time I took this same car to another place for tires. I had a bad experience there so I learned a lesson (the reviews on here are probably true, especially if they’re bad!). So, since my other car also needs tires I didn’t hesitate to just take it to ASTC. They quoted me a fair price with some nice additions (alignment, road hazard, etc) all included. The price was higher than what I could get elsewhere but was cheaper after you throw in the items they were adding in for «free.» I’ll update this review once I get my car back this afternoon.

A great repair shop! My father owns a repair shop in NY and is skeptical of all other shops that might ripoff his kids, but the one he trusts and we trust is Ashburn Tire. Leonard is the man! When we have car problems when we are traveling and out of town, we call Leonard from Ashburn Tire — he gives advice, is always friendly, and very accommodating. If our tire pressure sensor comes on and we stop by, Leonard jumps outside without hesitation and checks it out! We have had routine maintenance done on our cars, flat repairs, transmission/​starter repair, and even sunroof leaks fixed. Highly recommend Ashburn Tire!

Art and the guys at Ashburn Service & Tire are great. I’ve taken my 10-​yr old Toyota Highlander there about 4 times in the last year, for work and for tires. Each time they have treated me well, done quality work, and have as good or better prices than almost anywhere else, especially considering the quality of their work. The shop is well organized and run and the service desk people are friendly and helpful.
This last time, however, made me take the time to write this review. I had gotten myself into a jam trying to change a bushing on my rear sway bar (broke off a rusty bolt in one of the brackets). They jumped through hoops to work with me, as I had already ordered replacement part from local Toyota dealership. The day after I dropped the truck off, a friend that has access to a full shop called to say he could help me fix it in his full-​up shop if I had the parts. Art didn’t bat an eye when I asked if I could get the car back before they did the work. They were very gracious and didn’t charge me a dime for the diagnostic work and effort they had put in ordering another needed part from the dealer. My friend and I were able to get the work done, including drilling out the old bolt and replacing the broken sway bar brackets, saving me some $$. Ashburn Service took it in stride.
I’ll be taking my truck back here next time I need work that I can’t do, or don’t have the time to do.

My husband and I have been taking our cars to Ashburn Service & Tire Center for years for problems large and small and we’ve always had exceptional service. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable and articulate, they are truly on the side of the customer.

Excellent, fast service. Good, honest guys with a WYSIWYG face who don’t try to dress up the front area with ties, bells and whistles to make up for their shortcomings in the back. A top-​notch traditional repair shop.

I’ve never had my car inspected here, but as another reviewer mentioned their inspectors apparently work off commission, which is super weak.
Anyway, I’ve had to roll up to this place twice with a flat-​ish tire– both times it was a gigantic nail causing all the heartburn, and both times they were able to get me in and out in under half an hour. The first time (earlier this year) they charged me 15 bucks to plug the tire, and last night when I came in sobbing because I thought I was going to have to drop a cool $ 250 to replace a tire (yeah, that’s right, Subaru thought it was funny to put über-​expensive stock tires on its WRX’es); they informed me it was, alas! another nail, and plugged this tire for me– FREE OF CHARGE. Now, I know free stuff is hard to come by these days (hello sample day at Costco!) so I was seriously impressed that they took the time to both (a) inspect, and (b) repair my poor tire for FREE.
Now, call me old-​fashioned but I’m a big fan of two things– one– free stuff, and two– honesty. I would consider going back there for other tire-​related issues, probably not for mechanical stuff (that’s why God created Dranesville Auto).

I brought a tire in because it was low on air. They took it, discovered the tire valve was leaky and replaced it for $ 16 bucks.
I’ve also had the fan in my air conditioning/​heating unit repaired here and the service was honest and fairly priced. I trust these guys and have learned my lesson (349 to get brake switches and light bulbs replaced elsewhere which cost MORE than the replacement of the AC/​Heating unit in my car. yep. MORE.) and won’t go anywhere else.
