As an ex Californian I enjoy panda and it’s one of my favorite fast food spots. they serve consistently ok-​good Chinese food and there is very little variation across locations.
Unfortunately, I have not found a mom and pop Chinese restaurant that serves food that I would want to eat or an atmosphere I would want to eat it in.
Panda is really not anything special but it’s clean, friendly, and consistent which is more than I can say for many of the standalone Chinese establishments in the area.

Great option for gluten free in the mall. I got brown rice, steamed veggies and plain chicken. I got a tiny but of sweet and sour sauce on the side. Everything tasted very fresh and not greasy. Wish they had a few more non-​soy sauce options, but this was a great, quick meal. They were very nice and accommodating.
