This is pretty much the only diner in Ashland City, so it’s fortunate that it’s a great place to eat because there’s really no where else to go. Even when they’re busy, the service is pretty quick and always friendly. I’d recommend the biscuits & gravy or the pancakes, but my favorite is the veggie omelette; it’s perfect every time. I’ve never been there for lunch or dinner, but if you’re looking for a good breakfast, go to Sunrise.

Great Breakfast, Bone in ham and eggs. I will come back again next time in in town.
Loved the LARGE OJ glasses, always like a big olé mason jar. Good value. I will go there again.
Stopped for Lunch on a different day. Place was packed. The locals know this is the place for good food.

We read a Facebook and headed down to have breakfast for lunch like the post says only to be informed that «oh, we don’t serve pancakes after breakfast hours because the grill is too hot» — pancakes are why we came after reading your post! Then after settling on something else, waitress never returned with a to go box. Had to wrap our food in napkins. I’m VERY unhappy.

First time here & trying breakfast. This place kind of looks like it has been here since the town was formed with interesting variety of antiques and photos around. There are not many choices in Ashland City, so this place seems to be the locals hangout. Local folks coming & going at the group tables — seems friendly enough.
On to breakfast. The coffee is pretty average, nothing special, kind of like you would find at any gas station.
Eggs cooked exactly how you order them, country fried steak is crispy but not overcooked and the home made biscuits were pretty good.
Judging by the crowd of apparent regular locals here it has likely been this way a while. The local sheriffs department eats here.
Guess I will have to check out lunch here one day and the fresh baked deserts.
