I phoned the salon at 7:00pm asking what time they close. I was told 8:00. I ran my daughter over and was told they wouldn’t take any more customers for the night. It was only 7:10pm. There were two stylists that I could see and only one customer in a chair but it was a man and his cut was half done. It’s not like they even wash the hair before the cut. It would have taken 15 minutes to trim my daughter’s hair. I asked why they didn’t tell me on the phone that they take their last customer at 7:00 and they told me they «don’t know who will walk in.» WTH does that mean. I was aggravated they wasted my time and disappointed my daughter. I won’t go back.

I have been going to Cost Cutters for a handful of years, currently the Ashland salon. I can’t say enough about Annie. she colors and cuts my hair and each time my experience has been super. She’s a top notch professional. Also, all the staff are great, friendly and from my observations, have such a nice rapport with the clients. Keep up the great job ladies!

Just… no. I’m trying to think of the best way to explain why I don’t like it here and I think it comes down to most of the stylists just look like they don’t want to be there. It’s not a happy environment. I’ve never had a great experience here, but I can’t go here again after the last experience I had with my daughter. The stylist was so rude and made my daughter feel bad about herself. Not to mention I have to take her somewhere else to get a better cut now. Maybe it’s a good place for a man’s haircut? But I can’t say you should go there for a woman’s or children’s cut.

I want to thank the manager and staff for donating their time to cut my clients hair. Mathew a 8 year old boy and his mom have been homeless and in a shelter. They hadn’t had a hair cut in some time. Without hesitation Nina and her staff volunteered to cut their hair. What a kind and giving salon!

Stopped in for a cut today on a whim, because I hadn’t cut my hair in months and it was driving me crazy. Becca did my hair and it came out great! $ 15.95 for a haircut that looks as good, if not better, than what I’ve paid $ 50 for!
