Jenn is amazing. Highly professional, intelligent, informed and trustworthy. After first meeting Jenn, my husband and I said to each other, «we can do this.» Even after our first meeting she instilled that much confidence, and we were not disappointed. We discussed what we wanted of the birth experience, not knowing much about what to expect (never having personally witnessed a birth). I was very specific about what I wanted. She was very open-​minded and she was incredibly supportive, and, amazingly, she helped me have exactly the experience I had hoped for. I know I could have done it without Jenn, but I would NOT have wanted to imagine the experience without her.
Jenn was an integral part of the entire pregnancy, not just the birth. When I had questions or needed support throughout the process she was highly available and went way, way, way, above and beyond. When it came time for the birth, Jenn was there with me physically, spiritually, and emotionally every moment. Jenn is an exceptional person and birth partner and I can’t imagine having had anyone else there with me. If I did it again, I’d want her for sure. If you are lucky enough to have the chance to work with her, DO IT! She has so much love and respect for women, families, babies and the birth process. I’m happy to act as a reference and share more information about how Jenn assisted my family. BTW, I’m a tough customer and incredibly demanding, and was more than satisfied with Jenn’s services.

I called Jenn for help with a nursing issue. She immediately made a home visit. She showed me diagrams on her iPad to help me understand what was going on. She talked with me about what my options were and gave me herbs to help boost my immunity. She walked me through using a pump to help relieve pressure and prevent infection and stayed with me while I used it to make sure I didn’t get a sore nipple from it. She even made rubber glove balloons for our 19 month old! She also followed up with me frequently over the next couple of days to make sure my breast was okay and that I wasn’t feeling feverish.
Jenn’s the best! She’s got an excellent bedside manor, is caring, nurturing, knowledgeable, and very patient. We plan on using her as a homebirth midwife when we get pregnant with our second.
