I’m not a pizza fan but went along with a friend who like them. We wound up getting calzones. What great food! Generous portions, fresh and tasty cheese and sauce. Crispy dough. What more could you want? Now I’m planning a group thing for lunch. Kind of tiny inside but very cozy with a warm fireplace. This is the best!

Gil’s is a great, casual place to eat with a decent selection of beers and ciders. I almost always order the nachos(which includes a healthy helping of sour cream and guacamole, salsa, mexican crema, black beans, shredded cabbage, and fresh sliced jalepenos) – citrus chicken can be added(for you meat lovers out there). Don’t be fooled, even the half order is fulfilling! The staff is usually friendly and extremely accommodating.

Off the main drag. Funky and eclectic. Great place to relax and discover new brews. Food selection is small but diverse.

Perfect casual dinner spot! Upholds Ashland’s high standards for food and venues. Very eclectic, artsy house-turned-restaurant. Dined on the front patio in the afternoon sun. Lots of great craft beers. Really great service from Robert(?). My dinner date and I both ordered the Pork Belly Fig Sandwich and were very impressed. Paired mine with a smooth Viognier. I’ll be going back for sure!

Gil’s is fantastic! I just moved here from Alaska and was looking for a craft beer spot and found one! Christian was super knowledgeable, there is a fantastic selection, and the spot is really comfortable to kick back and try some delicious beers. Check it out!

I visited with some girlfriends, we each ordered a beer.(This was several months back). There were no tables inside. The bar was being utilized by staff with computers. And it was raining outside, at the tables with no umbrellas. Fortunately after awhile of standing awkwardly around we were able to flag down someone, who went next door(same owners?) to borrow an umbrella for one of the outside tables. Too weird.

Nice place… We enjoyed a pint here over the weekend. Decent selection of beers… not amazing, but decent. Very neat rustic vibe achieved here in terms of interior design and comfort – creative and utilitarian, very well done. Beer: Ultimately, I want a fill station to sell things I mostly can’t get in bottles or are seasonal specialties/limited releases – I would say that Gil’s half-way meets that challenge. That said, they had a little bit of something for everyone, and a nice bottle selection. I would say it would be great if they picked up some regional specialties such as Opposition, Two-Shy, Agrarian, Connor-Fields, and so forth – breweries not distributed by the big dogs. I believe that they had Arch Rock, which is excellent. Really like the chill vibe here – staff very friendly and will talk it up with you at the bar. Food selection is decent – real simple, but sounded good(we didn’t eat as we were off to another venue for dinner). A lot more focus on food than beer with the guy working the counter. Popcorn – delicious! Prices are mixed bag – I’m still not sold on $ 5-$ 6.50 pints, but it is what it is and seems to be the new norm at places like Growler King and Gil’s. I also understand the expense in running a place like this, and fresh beer is always a plus! Definitely worth checking out, and nice to see local businesses like these in small community areas where people can walk to have a pint. Also, really appreciate the partnership they have with Ruby’s to share space – more businesses could benefit from this type of thinking. Cheers!

Super awesome place! Like gathering with all your best friends. The beer selection is huge and really unique. Many off-the-beaten-path micro brews. The food is really special, delicious, and made with love. Don’t miss this place for a real Ashland home grown experience.

I immediately liked the carribeanesque vibe of this place. It’s definitely pretty laid back. Although they seem to have some good Oregon wines and a decent collection of bottled beer, I always go for the selections they have on tap. As a growler station they have a pretty good selection of craft beers, with twenty three taps to choose from. They also have ciders and kombucha on tap, but with so many amazing beers i just haven’t been able to get around to trying them. They have a rotating selection which kind of annoyed me at first, but I usually like to get two or three different kinds of beer at a time anyway, and now I’m hooked on a new beer every week or so. The food here is great as well, very reasonably priced, especially compared to restaurants serving similar items. You can also get food from Ruby’s next door. There’s not enough seating when it gets busy, although I’ve seen people take lidded Mason jars of beer to Ruby’s patio. Maybe I’ll try that next time I can’t find a seat. I always leave this place feeling better than I did when I got here. No wonder I like it!
