I am a 36 year old male and a couple days ago I had my first ever body piercing, an apadravya. I did some heavy research on this piercing and eventually I would find Chari at Ritual Evolution.
The experience she gave me was fantastic! I was honestly scared with what was coming up, yet she took her time with me and did a great job in calming me down. Chari answered all the questions I had (and I had a ton of dumb questions) and she explained everything in detail.
The way she performed the piercing was amazing! She took her time in doing it, and I know everybody thinks that this is the worst way possible but it was truly wonderful! I watched a dozen videos on this apadravya piercing from other piercers, and the way she did it was the exact opposite of everybody else. Chari also did it by hand, no clamps, and in the end the placement was spot on! She honestly should be posting some educational videos and showing all those so-​called piercers how to do it correctly.
Chari also runs a very very clean shop! She is a professional at keeping everything sterilized and I know she changed those gloves several times. Her favorite word is «clean» as I was told numerous times on keeping my new piercing clean and keeping my hands off.
And just FYI it has been 3 days since I got my apadravya and I am doing great!
I will no doubt be coming back! I am already thinking about what I should get next!

Excellent. It’s difficult to find a shop in the area with someone willing to insert a retainer immediately after a lip piercing. Chari is very careful, thoughtful, professional, and she knows her shit. She used a glass retainer and barely anyone in my workplace even noticed. Can’t wait til it heals and I can go back for jewelry :) I’ll be paying her a visit for all my future piercings.

I lost my nose ring on my trip in WA. On my way back to CA, I decided to stop somewhere to pick one up. I called and was able to get an appointment on such short notice. Chari was so professional and her shop was extremely clean. The atmosphere was very comfortable too. I left extremely happy with my new nose ring along with some more new jewelry for my tragus and belly button. So thrilled that I made this stop!:
