Be very careful about having mercury removed here if you have even the slightest health challenge. Dr. Robbins didn’t provide a nasal source of breathing to protect from very toxic mercury vapors, nor did he cover my face to prevent particles released and made airborne from the drill so they will land on your skin and in your mouth above the dam. I was terribly sick after the amalgam removal and I have new symptoms since: my hair is falling out at an alarming rate, my teeth are cracking and I have numbness and tingling in my hands and feet. Please investigate the mercury removal process online before you chose a dentist, and don’t be fooled by marketing tag lines like«mercury safe» like I was. Ask questions and make sure you will be exposed to the lowest amount of mercury possible. Check with the standards published by two international organizations online and choose a dentist who follows ALL of them, please. You have no idea how poisonous mercury is and how it can made you sicker to have them removed if it isn’t done right.

I was very pleased with Dr. Robbins’ work. He is straight forward and does his best to keep you comfortable during your dental work. The office staff are very professional as well as being warm and calming. Dr. Robbins specializes in safe mercury filling removal and does a most excellent job. Follow his advice about ways to pull the mercury after the filling’s been replaced. I was impressed with the level of caution he used while removing my old filling. He also was able to fix one of my teeth with a filling where I had been told I needed a crown. As an added bonus, the filling he put in will serve as the base for a crown if I do need one later. Thanks Carol, Bonnie and Dr. Robbins — and the masked woman whose name you never get, but who pays the utmost attention to you when you’re in the chair.
