Rollins Jani MD

Jani Rollins is the best kind of doctor– bright and smart and caring. She is smart and committed to patient care, but she is also interested in you as a person. I have been privileged to have her for going on twenty years now and I feel lucky every time I see her that I found such a caring and brilliant doctor. There’s no one better.

I adore Jani. She was my OB while pregnant with my second child. She is so sweet and personable, and she supports natural childbirth which is hard to find in an OB. She also runs a family practice and I would have brought my whole family to see her but we recently moved back to Los Angeles for work reasons. I’m already missing her! If I have another baby I will for sure be birthing at the Ashland birth center with Jani and the wonderful supportive staff there!

After 8 months of pregnancy in Los Angeles with the «baby factory» style pre-​natal care, I can’t say how refreshing it was to work with Jani. She delivered my daughter and then 3 years later my son. If you want a natural, relaxed, water birth, she’s 100% supportive and encouraging. (I had this sort of birth with both my kids). I also know people who wanted an epidural and she is totally easy going about that. And if you happen to need a C-​section, she’s a pro. She worked beautifully with my hypnobirthing midwife and together they were the best of both worlds at my hospital water birth (Ashland Community Hospital). Supporting me in my choices with so much encouragement and sweetness, I’m lucky that I found Jani. If you want the BEST of all the choices in birthing… Jani Rollins is the lady. She’s truely a blessing to this community. The only con is that she is quite in demand and can’t always take new patients, so call ahead!
