I would give Turners negative stars. WORST service ever. The hostess pretends not see anyone or anything as do the waitesses. We waited for our drinks which now have been empty for 20 mons and they still see nothing. I would never come back or recommend. RUDEST staff. I would recommend that the management read these reviews. There is a theme.

Oh yuck!‘n. The restaurant smells really bad when you first walk in and the food us even worse. Chicken tenders were flavorless and greasy. Oh yuk!

I would just steer clear of Turner’s. We ordered a lemon garlic grilled chicken, which was cooked okay, but there was zero flavor. I also ordered a steak medium rare, and calling it rare would be generous – most of it was inedible. The zucchini sticks and the sauce we had for an appetizer was decent, so two stars. Probably better to go right next door for bbq, or even the hot bar at martin’s

My husband and I decided to give Turner’s a try and boy am I glad we did. We ordered rib eye steaks, baked potato, green beans. The meal also came with a huge yeast roll, hot right out of the oven. The green beans were definitely«southern style». The steaks had good flavor and were cooked to exactly how we like them, however, they were a little tough to chew. Not extremely, but somewhat. The service was excellent, friendly small town place. We will definitely be back as we saw other people’s orders and want to try what they got.

The food here was excellent. The service on the other hand was lacking. Slow to get seated slow to get drinks and slow to take orders.

Yum. Just yum. Plain and simple surroundings, and I didn’t expect much when I went in, but it was fantastic. The staff was friendly, food came quick. It was an actual Hanover tomato on my hot chicken club. My picky mother said it was the best hamburger she has ever had. My pickier 6YO ate every bite of her grilled cheese. That hardly ever happens. I will run back to this place first chance I get.

We ate at Turner’s recently for a second time. The first time the meal was ok and the service was anything but friendly. But — we thought, let’s give it a second chance. Mistake. The blackened fish and chicken dinners we had were jokes — a splattering of pepper sauce was what they call blackened. Just horrible. The service was not great and for the high prices for their meals, you can do a lot better in the Ashland area.

Awesome burgers. I got the one with bacon and the egg on it. Amazing! BBQ sauce on hubby’s chicken is vinegar based and very vinegary.

Coming from someone who knows how to cook properly, this place is awesome. My husband is a very picky eater and this is the only place within a 30 mile radius of Ashland he actually enjoys to eat. He only likes my food so when we go out he is expecting the same or better, yours is equal to him, to me its a little better! The food is seasoned well, cooked perfectly and the portions are large. It is a little pricey but when you are eating great food and getting full. who wouldn’t mind to pay? We sure don’t. Not like leaving one of those chain restaurants disappointed because you are still hungry and angry because you spent $ 60 dollars on over priced over embellished food. The ambiance is cozy, not upscale but considering it used to be a laundromat. they have done well. I’d eat their food served out of the back of a pick up. Can’t afford to go here all the time but on special occasions we look forward to it!

Service was wretched. We stood at the door for ten minutes and no one even acknowledged our presence. Ban, bad business.

Average at best. If you prefer your food on the bland side you will love it. Veggies were the best a steam tray can offer. We will be sure to check out the competition if we pass this way again.

Great local place. Ordered the ribeye sandwich… delish! Also had the cheese burger which was good but not cooked as I ordered, still yummy. The kid had corn dog nuggets which he enjoyed.

It had a quaint feel and seemed most of the customers knew each other. Wait staff is slow and not attentive so you can’t be in a rush when you go. Dinner prices are $ 10-$ 20. We went on a Saturday night @ 7 The large protion entres were very tasty and fresh. The steaks were cooked to perfection. Their daily specials ranged from pork chops to chickent to seafood & steak… so there is a wide variety without being overwhelming… they stick to what they know. The atmophere is not fancy… more family oriented, but there is a full service bar. My friend siad he has been several times for lunch and he loves it. I have recomended it to several people.

This is the artist formerly known as Turner and Bragg. I guess Bragg has left the building. The good about Turner is the portions are huge. For example: the chicken sandwich is a split chicken breast. It is really, really large. Other sandwiches are equally as big. They have daily specials and a basic menu of chicken, sandwiches, soups, and burgers. The ownership is local. The not so good– the wait staff is marginal at best. I think I could go in and in an hour or so be more familiar with the menu than they are. They are friendly enough though– however I would have to give them a 2. Also, items all items are not always available. I went about 5 on a Saturday and tried to get a baked potato. I was told they wouldn’t be ready for another 30 minutes. I heard them tell some other customers other items weren’t «ready yet» as well. In summary: I think Turner has the potential to be a really good place to eat. They just aren’t quite there yet. As one of the people i was with said.” It is good solid place to eat, but just needs to step their game up.” If I could give half stars it would 2.5. I gave it a 3 because of the portions.

I’m not sure why Turner’s is listed as closed, I dined there tonight. In the past, I have had steak there, and it was excellent. This evening, I had a blackened tuna steak. The tuna was so tough I actually had to use my knife to cut it… I’m not used to using a knife on a cooked fish. I had two sides, mashed potatoes with cheddar and bacon, and green beans. The potatoes were good, but the beans were SUPERSALTY. I think they came from a can. I mentioned this to my waiter and she was quick to bring me some pasta salad, which was great! My last issue was with some of the kitchen staff. There was a window into the kitchen, so I recognized the guy who was running the grill when he went to the bar and loudly described how many beers he drank at a bar with a buddy over the weekend. Also, I could hear the music they were playing in the kitchen all the way in the dining room. I think that the restaurant is good overall, but there are definitely things that could be improved.

A restaurant that sounds like the name of a law firm, located in a former Laundromat(sign not yet replaced) in the center of the Universe? Let’s check it out! T & B was actually quite good. We sampled steak(cooked perfectly and well seasoned), the crab cakes(fried MD style), fried flounder, and broiled scallops(enough for an army!). Sides were typical southern fare, ranging from standards such as baked potatoes and fries to classics such as spoonbread. It’s not fancy, but quite comfortable with decent food at decent prices. The service was friendly and attentive. It’s a nice alternative to the boring chains up the road. Find it across the street from the Police Station, next to VABBQ, 3.5 stars.
