Place is in downtown Ashland with plenty of parking across the street in the lot. Pretty clean and nice décor. Small location for the most part. You grab a bowl and serve yourself the frozen yogurt and toppings you want and then get it weighed. Not much options in flavors just your chocolate, vanilla varietys, coffee, as well as three other fruit flavors I believe but its the toppings combinations that make your yogurt bowl come out. They have variety of toppings such as cookies, candy bar crumbles, granola, almonds, gummies, fresh fruit, and those fruit pop things that are so good. Once you fill your bowl you pay by the weight. Students get 10%. Tip would be not get gummys cus they weigh more than the other toppings and there are just better topping options.

Perfect for what it is and what it advertises. My kid loves this place. They have yogurt flavor options for every diet or restriction, as well. Everything is self-serve so you can get as crazy or be as vanilla as you want. We love the ice cream at Mix but sometimes momma wants a lower fat treat. They have low fat double chocolate yogurt! Tables are always clean which is impressive given the multitudes of mini monsters always running about. If that bugs you, just don’t show up right after the school bell rings. There is also a 1 dollar off offer if you click on your Unilocal offers feature on your phone.

Everything you would want in a yogurt shop. Lots of toppings. Lots of flavors. It was all good.

My yogurt fell right off their crooked table and they refused to give me another one. Seriously. $ 3.50 on the floor.

We ate there multiple times on our first trip to Ashland in 2010, when the price was much better, .39 per ounce, and now .45 per ounce, but still the toppings are varied, and the yogurt delicious. HOwever, I noticed that the flavors are rather limited if you want natural sugar(not sugar free)_ or dairy(not dairy free) I like the choice of non-fat or low fat, but with sugar free or dairy free, there ends up being only 3 choices. This time around there was a terrific coconut and a fantastic vanilla, while the chocolate was bland. We both enjoyed our cup of dessert, but 11 + is a bit much for what we actually got, esp in consideration of the size and price and variety of flavors mentioned in my review of Zoey’s. So, fun to try, but not our favorite place to get dessert.

This place is so fun! They have all kinds of yogurt, all kinds of toppings and incredible ice cream cones made out of cookies and pretzels!

The Ashland Yogurt Hut is consistently delicious. With an assortment of yogurt, sorbet and topping choices, it can be tough to make a decision! As luck may have it, Yogurt Hut must have sensed my flavor dilemma and introduced the divider. Now I can have my peanut butter with brownies on one side, cherry cheesecake on the other — two desserts in one bowl with no contamination! What’s also great about that is that I can have as much or as little as I choose. That’s the beauty of serve-yourself yogurt! Beyond having ample choices, the quality of toppings and yogurt is consistently wonderful. Their fruit is actually fresh and seems to be prepped daily. They serve sliced fresh strawberries, not mystery-syrupy-strawberry-flavored-goop. If you’re into candy bar toppings, cereals, brownies, hot fudge and cookies, they have a little bit of everything and it is all prepped perfectly to sprinkle on top of your yogurt of choice. The Yogurt Hut is also kid-friendly, however, you might want to supervise your little ones closely, otherwise you’ll be buying them $ 10 yogurts!

Would have missed this fabulous place if it hadn’t been for the Fourth of July Parade. They were passing out to the crowd discount cards. After sitting in the very warm sun — for a long time watching the full parade — we made our way to The Yogurt Hut. Don’t remember how many flavors there were — but something like ten. They will let you try anything you want to taste before filling your bowl. They have a fun array of toppings — my son got wide eyed seeing all the candy toppings — I went for the fresh fruit. We sat in a window seat at a table– but there is counter seating and spots outside on the sidewalk. Fun place to people watch. They also offer pre-made packed cups for $ 5 bucks — enough to share for two or more. I highly recommend it — and the staff is super sweet and helpful.

The yogurt is so-so, the topping selection is good, but the rude service is ridiculous! Obviously the owners know nothing about how to treat their employees as the girls working in the Ashland location are downright rude! They must not be very happy working there.

Overall an average fro-yo shop. Below average for flavor options, above average for toppings. Slightly above average taste. Maybe a touch expensive, especially without giving samples freely(you have to ask).

For a theatre town, Ashland has very few places that are open late. Which is shocking, since all the theatre people I know(myself included) like to go out for dessert and/or drinks after a show. So, with the lack of options, we landed at Yogurt Hut one night around 11 pm. The yogurt was good(had the swirl of coffee and dulce de leche) and the topics were great — huge variety there! The atmosphere and service left something to be desired, but I guess that’s what happens when two teenage girls are left in charge. However, the price was great(43 cents per ounce). Unfortunately, our ears were assaulted by the horrific cat screeching — I mean, Karaōke, coming from upstairs. Keep Yogurt Hut, get rid of the Karaōke and teen hang out.

Yogurt hut sucks, Go to Zoey’s or anywhere else if you want a great treat, if you’re visiting Ashland, find some other place as there are much much better dessert spots. I’ve gotten sick from eating here twice(don’t know why I came back!) and the girls who work there are quite rude to say the least. On one occasion after I was ill from eating the«original tart» yogurt I came back to tell the manager what had happened. She was on the phone for ever before she decided to acknowledge me and then basically told me to leave the store if I wasn’t going to buy any yogurt. Lame place, lame workers, just skip it.

Yogurt Hut is a pretty cool place for Ashland. The yogurt here is sub-par. If you want really great sweets I would suggest Zooey’s café up the street. Yogurt Hut might not have the best yogurt but it does have a great place to hang out. Upstairs there is a fun hang out place. There are huge leather couches and TV screens. There is even pool up there! The employees there don’t care if you hang out there for hours even if you are long done with your frozen treats. I would suggest going here if you are looking for a fun, relaxing night. Also as I recall they have karokee nights here!

Extremely impressed with this little chain of Frozen Yogurt Parlors! Self serve with every topping you can imagine… they even had sugar free froyo options as well as sugar free toppings! The Ashland shop was clean and the employee was kind and attentive.

Definitely a smaller than efficient self service station, but the staff is friendly and helpful, and the yogurt is amazing! There were 10 flavors to choose from(I tried a take on new York vanilla and snickerdoodle, yum!!!) and tons of toppings! They also have seating out front, and an awesome gaming center upstairs with a nice balcony for more outdoor seating. Not that badly priced for frozen yogurt, especially in Ashland. Will definitely go back for more snickerdoodle yogurt!!! Definitely park in public parking and walk across the street.

What is not to love about self-serve, price by weight. More like 10 flavors of yogurt and sorbet! Clean, hip, sort of healthy(healthy without toppings). And two registers! for faster enjoyment of your creation after you pay. Even my Bali’s at home doesn’t have this.

Nina and I drove in from home today, arriving to scorching temperatures. After checking in w/our menfolk we took a nap, awakening at 8:30. It was still very warm so we went in search of the frozen yogurt place we’d noticed last year. We were jocularly welcomed by the friendly young man behind the counter. He explained the drill to us as we were both novices. There were big cups and huge cups. The cost was 39 cents/oz. I got chocolate and original tart, which I didn’t like as well as I expected. I topped it w/walnuts, sliced almonds, strawberries and kiwi. All good and the perfect hot weather dinner.

Hello Frozen Yogurt! Yogurt Hut is on Lithia Way in downtown Ashland and offers a selection of rotating yogurt flavors/toppings. On a day when ice cream is too heavy and a smoothie is too light, Yogurt Hut is just right. The cups are a little big for my liking, but since the price is per ounce I understand the larger cup size. $ 4.00 to $ 5.00 is the average price of a healthy fro-yo helping. Usually there is a great selection of fresh fruit and nuts, but somehow lots of chocolate chips and peanut butter cups make their way into my yogurt. Grab a punch card to try several different selections and be rewarded with a free treat when the card is filled. Frozen yogurt melts pretty quickly, but I don’t suggest sitting in the crowded lobby. Instead walk to Lithia Park or the Ashland Creek and by the time you are there, you are done with your yogurt and on your way for a beautiful nature stroll.

I am so happy that Ashland finally got with the times and got a fro-yo establishment! I think I’ll be a fan of The Yogurt Hut, though a few things stuck out after my first visit. Right now, they are dramatically overstaffed. This teeny self-serve establishment had a total of five employees milling around the establishment. The owner was micromanaging a bit, which made me a tiny bit uncomfortable. I’m sure that as business takes off, the owners will relax a bit. Also, it’s overpriced compared to the fro-yo establishments in Northern California. I guess since they have a monopoly on the frozen yogurt market, they thought it would be okay to charge a little too much. My fiancé and I spent over eight dollars on frozen yogurt on our first visit. I wish they would invest in smaller cups. I know that those big cups encourage customers to eat more, but I’d like some portion(and cost) control. Either way, I’m sure I’ll be visiting The Yogurt Hut fairly frequently this summer. However, I hope they make a few minor improvements regarding cost and cup variety.

Holy crap, Ashland finally has a frozen yogurt place!!! LETUSREJOICE. Yogurt Hut r00lz, for lack of better terms. Everything is self serve and is priced by weight. There are like six flavors of yogurt, an entire counter top of delicious toppings, as well as a separate part for fresh fruit toppings. Be sure you pick up a stamp card! Buy ten yogurts and get one free! I will definitely be here alllll the time this summer. Their hours are pretty awesome too. I believe they’re open until 9 or 10 pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends(not 100% sure, but something like that!). The only reason I knocked off a star is because I still think Blush has the best yogurt!
