Not impressed at all, service was fine but neither me or my boyfriend enjoyed the dishes we got. I got the chow mien with veggies, there was absolutely no flavor in it, sauce was clear with a strange texture and the veggies were not of good quality. Also pretty expensive. Save yourself the money and don’t go here

Vegetables were fresh, crispy, tasty, the portion size was reasonable. The Kung pay chicken & beef chow fun were tasty and not soaked through. The hostess was a sweety. Cheers.

Singapore Fried rice noodles ~ delicious. Shrimps are fresh and flavorful. Red curry tofu(medium)~ fresh veggies. Sauce could use more curry flavor. Service ~ friendly. Restaurant ~ clean

Yay! I finally an Americanized Chinese restaurant that passes all my little tests. I get sweet and sour chicken everywhere I go because it is my favorite and a decent indicator of quality. The sweet and sour sauce was different than the usual stuff from the can, which incidentally I will still totally eat. Yuan Yuan’s tasted homemade with subtle flavors of grapefruit, apricot, and cherry. It didn’t JUST taste like corn syrup, which was refreshing and surprising. The chicken was high quality white meat; no grisly parts like at Panda Garden. Also, I took half my meal home for lunch tomorrow! Yay! Golden Dynasty also passes this test, but not Panda Garden. So if I had to order them it would be: 1) Yuan Yuan — 4 stars(solid portion, higher quality) 2) Golden Dynasty — 3 stars(biggest portion of all, med quality) 3) Panda Garden — 2 stars(small portion, lower-med quality) This is the spot we will return to when we get the craving again.

Despite the nasty, mean spirited reviews of late,(hint hint would rather eat a shoe), Yuan Yuan is the only palatable and genuine Chinese/Asian restaurant in the Rogue Valley. Their service is top notch, the chicken fried rice is my favorite go-to item on the menu and is always hot, fresh, and ridiculously flavorful. My husband goes for the Pad Thai Tofu but just regular spicy because really really spicy actually means really really spicy here. I have tried just about every category of food here and have never had an overly greasy nor inedible item. Their spring rolls are actually ridiculously good and their crab wontons are heaven in a pasty wrapper. It’s weird to me when people complain about Chinese food being greasy when that’s actually what Americanized Chinese food is. When people try something once and give a horrid review for a restaurant that is a loved staple of the locals, it really bothers me. This family is ridiculously nice, their food is on point, and anyone who disagrees was just looking for a reason to complain. Sorry not sorry, this is the real deal for real real!

The staff was so nice it makes me feel a little bad giving it such a horrible review but this was possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever had. We ordered the Happy Family, Sweet and Sour Shrimp and Mongolian Chicken. We started with the wontons and shrimp dumplings. Everything tasted off, greasy and although there was what looked like fresh vegetables in most of the dishes, neither my husband or myself could hardly choke our food down. We knew we were going for no frills, basic, Chinese Food but really we would have been better off at a fast food joint. Not worth the $ 60 with tip bill at all. I would have rather eaten a $ 60 shoe, I think.

Stop in hoping for some tasty chinese food with vegan options and this place was delicious. My boyfriend order walnut shrimp and i ordered the Mongolian tofu & veggie plater and the meal was so tasty. The woman working the front was extremely kind and attentive to customers needs. She definitely added good energy to this experience. Would 100% recommend this yummy place!

Really great lunch! Close to I5. Why eat fast food when you can have a delicious Chinese meal? Orange chicken was wonderful, while my wife enjoyed the chicken chow mein. Soup, tea, cookies included. Excellent service too.

Fast and friendly service, the egg flour soup is the best I’ve had anywhere. I enjoy the pad thai, and the mar far chicken is always on point. I eat here often especially after a fun night ;)

My favorite restaurant to visit in Ashland! They know me by my first name, they know the dishes I like, what my kids like, what my father likes, and always, ALWAYS get the best service you could imagine, with a smile! Lunch specials are the best deal in Ashland!

We have a real challenge in Sothern Oregon with finding good Asian restaurants. If you like Asian Noodles and personal service, a good Asian beer and plenty of parking, this is the place. They have been around for ten years for a reason. The waitperson/owner remembers people’s past selections and is always cheerful. Want more? They are open on Sunday!

Best Chinese food in Ashland, hands down. Probably would be 5 stars if I wasn’t used to New York City Chinese food. Don’t bother with any other Chinese place in town.

We know better than to have Chinese food in predominately non-Asian areas. But we had had our fill of most other common cuisines over the course of our 2 week expedition(so far). Ashland is not the food capital of the world by any means, unless you are talking good breakfasts. So we found this place that had a Cantonese American/Thai menu. We ordered simple and light, a bowl of won ton soup and a veggie-meat stir fry. The soup had a very good broth, complete with a lacing of sesame oil, and was packed with lots of lightly cooked vegetables, two large shrimp, and many won ton. No complaints about the vegetables and shrimp, but there was no love lost for the won ton filling at all on my part. A very strange flavor that was supposed to be a shrimp and pork blend. Mr. B polished them off just fine. A difference in taste buds obviously. The other dish was large platter filled with green beans and pork. It came sauteed in a black bean sauce with their house made Chinese seasoned bbq pork(which was excellent). The dish was quite tasty but would have ranked higher if the green beans were not so mature. I would return just to taste their bbq pork again. And this may sound odd, but they offered some of the best fortune cookies I have tasted ever. They appeared to be homemade, not plastic wrapped, and the edges of the cookies were almost too brown. Because the flavor was so amazing I am not holding any grudge because my cookie had no fortune inside. Should I be worried about my future? =(

If you are looking forward eating quality food, just don’t go to that place. I paid $ 9 for Cashew Chicken plate, and it’s honestly doesn’t worth even $ 2. The food doesn’t taste food. I ate the cashews and the baby corns and left the rest. I just went there based on people’s reviews who gave them five stars. I’m not a Chinese food fan, but I have had some delicious food at some places. So, if you’re looking for cheap food(JUSTCHEAPFOOD), I recommend you to go there. Service is good as well. Again, I am curious about the reasons this restaurant got some five stars reviews. Are they real accounts or fake?

They recently remodeled, and did a great job installing a very expensive vent in the kitchen(Ashland Fire DEPT should not have been so picky, because the guys didn’t need to spend all that money to make MS. fire chief happy) Anyways this is the best Chinese food you will ever eat. So go there and try Chinese and/or Thai food!

This place has everything you’d expect from a standard sit down chinese restaurant: pork fried rice, lemon chicken, fried food, etc… The kids love it, good portions, NOT greasy.
