Least «snobby» place in downtown aspen. Cheap drinks and normal people. If you’re looking for the dive bar of aspen, here you go.

The SLOWEST and WORST service in Aspen. If you wanna sit at a bar and wait about 20 minutes for a beer while the bartenders walk around like chicken with their heads cut off– dollar bar is the place to be!!! I don’t think the bartenders even know how to pour a glass of water.

We were enticed by the only «dive bar» in Aspen, and we were thoroughly impressed! The staff was amazing and our time there was awesome. Keep it up guys;)

If you’re looking for a quiet, hidden local joint, this is the place for you! Great place to escape the crowds during the chaotic busy seasons in Aspen. Stiff drinks and simple bar grub served till 10. The Jalapeño Poppers rock! Also great burgers/​wings and specials. A few TV’s (including a projection screen) for watching games (and movies on Monday nights) and a tastefully designed room make this a standout place in the dive bar scene of Aspen.
