Not impressed at all. I read the other review and went looking there for something cool for my girlfriend, only to find it full of the usual tripe that you would find in a gift shop — stupid mugs, things that had nothing to do with Aspen, soap, baby clothes. There seemed to be an awful lot of baby toys and children’s items, so I guess that’s something. But I certainly didn’t feel that this had unique Aspenia for sale, with the exception of a VERY small section that didn’t impress me. The owner was very nice, so there’s that. But I just couldn’t find anything that really seemed worth buying. Ended up finding some other interesting items at a nearby store.

I hunted all over Aspen for some Aspen-related kitsch that wasn’t too kitschy. In a sea of ugly mugs and bad silk-screens appeared Aspen Eclectic. It had all kinds of fun odds and ends — fun little snowboarding figures and wood-engraved elk coasters. I ended up buying a sandblasted glass that was exactly what I’d been looking for. Me likey.
