The food here is typically quite good and deserves 4 stars. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is very cute and authentically French country. The Nutella and strawberry crepes with house made whipped cream are very good although I have had some of the«entrée» crepes come out only a little better than room temp. The service is what takes the 4 star food to a 3 star overall. It’s friendly enough but don’t expect it to be fast. For how small the restaurant is, the speed of service leaves something to be desired.

How fantastic is this place!!! We stumbled upon the restaurant after experiencing a bad first course down the street, but chef Andreas really turned it around for us. The restaurant is so quaint and cozy to be inside of. We sat on the bar, and to our surprise it where the kitchen was as well, my favorite is to be at a chefs table. Everything we had was so amazing and packed with so much flavor. The French onion soup would be something I would for sure come back for! Escargot and foie gras were on point! And to top it off chef Andreas gave us some tastings that he whipped up, mmm delish! It was our anniversary weekend and I’m so glad this meal turned it around after it started to meh. We will definitely making the drive back to Aspen soon!

Fantastic french resturant. Other than, not allowing me to bring in my own coffee, the food was fantastic. Simple side salad, crêpe, and a mimosa was the perfect Mothers Day. It’s hidden in Gainey Village, but well worth the hunt. The omelette is huge– need to share unless you have a big appetite.

This is a great date-spot. The ambiance is very intimate, not just between you and your companion, but with your neighbors as well – seating is kind of cramped, but it lends to the ambiance. The art work and flair on the walls really work with this little alpine bistro’s energy. The wine list is great, they have high value bottles of bordeaux and some more practical options for the layman. I’ve never had a Crêpe here, and I apologize for this, but I can tell you the Raclette and fondue are fantastic split amongst two people. The charcuterie and cheese boards are a personal favorite, but as with most cheese and meat boards, they leave you hungry for more.

It was our first day in Aspen and we had made some last minute reservations to Creperie du Village. It was at 8:45 pm, but we got there 30 minutes early hoping to get seated sooner. We originally wanted a table but the Maitre suggested a just opened spot at the bar. We were reluctant but he convinced us that he would move us to a table when one was available. We sat down at the bar, exchanged greetings with Chef Andreas Neufeld and watched him do his magic. Needless to say, we never moved from our spot at the bar. It was the best seat in the house! Chef Neufeld had a very commanding yet, humble way of running the kitchen. The kitchen was small but very busy because the entire restaurant was full. His food presentation was spectacular. Sitting at the bar, watching every plate come out made us want to order everything. We settled on the following dishes. Split pea and clam soup(which was compliments of the Chef and not on the menu) — great starter. Chevre Chaud(Goat cheese, honey and bread) — highly recommended, you need to use the combo of honey and goat cheese for the great taste. French Connection — savory beef crêpe. Good, but i think we should have tried the lamb instead. Dessert– Schokoladepalatschink(chocolate crêpe with strawberries, bananas and whip cream) — save room for a crêpe dessert. You really can’t go wrong with any choice here. Overall, Craperie du Village was a wonderful experience in Aspen. The ambiance was very romantic. Remember to make reservations because the restaurant is very small. And finally, special thanks the Chef Neufeld for his kind hospitality!

I’m so happy my husband and I visited this charming and cozy restaurant. Honestly, five stars all around. The atmosphere perfectly set the stage for a romantic evening. The food was incredible, perfectly prepared and special(interesting in a good way, creative, and comforting). We had the cheese fondue with salami, the scallops(which had a wonderful citrus dressing) and the chocolate crêpe with pistachio cream. Lastly the staff and service here is top notch. Make a reservation to get in, and sit outside if you can :).

Going to the Creperie feels like stepping into a charming, quaint Swiss chalet. Ambiance is amazing and it has the best atmosphere of all the Aspen restaurants. Candle lit, rustic décor with with unique decorations makes for great conversation over wine and delicious cocktails. Froi Gras was quite tasty as were the scallops and crepes. Favorite crêpe was the Chicken Curry(has a bit of spice). The beef bourginon, salmon, classic buckwheat and spinach were also quite good. This place always packed for a reason!

This place is a hidden gem. Executive Chef Andreas Neufeld is what gives this place it’s life! What a joy it was to sit behind the bar and see the magic first hand. My husband and I look forward to our next visit to Aspen, and especially, to our next meal in this cozy little restaurant again.

Went here on a recommendation from someone at our hotel. This was not what I was expecting at all. It was way above my expectations when I walked in the door. As soon as we walked in it felt like we were transported to France. The ambiance is cozy and quaint. Service was excellent and so was the food. We had the Into The Wild crêpe and the Classic Crêpe. Both were very good. The Classic crêpe comes with a sunny side egg on top. We plan on coming back here at least 1 more time before we leave the area. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Food tips: Into the Wild crêpe, Classic crêpe.

What an amazing little gem. A perfectly cozy and romantic atmosphere. I sat at the bar and was surprised to find myself front and center for all the action. Where the bar would have been was a small galley kitchen with about ten cooks frantically making various meals. It was amazing to watch so many people work together in such a small space. I actually watched them make my crêpe right in front of me. Sooo thats how its done ;) I ordered the French Onion Soup which was AMAZING! I highly recommend you try this. The best French Onion I have ever had. I also ordered the Spinach Crêpe, recommended to me by the waiter. It was good but paled in comparison to the first course. I did like the pine nuts on top though. It was a nice touch.

Amazing evening — celebrated our 35th anniversary and Rafael and his staff did an excellent job. Select Du Village base on Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed. When I called for a reservation, Rafael(the owner) informed me that the inside was sold out for a wedding reception but he could happily seat us outside. I was hesitant not knowing what the weather would be like but he assured me they had heaters, umbrellas and blankets and we would be comfortable. Said we could cancel at anytime if weather looked rough Beautiful day and cool temps(50’s) when we arrived and were welcomed to a nice quaint patio that was warm and inviting. We enjoyed a nice glass of wine with our French onion soup and raclette plate. The soup was fantastic. We then shared the spinach/cheese crêpe — very enjoyable. We finished our evening with the signature dessert crêpe you can’t spell :) Antonia and Sergio provided excellent service even though the inside was obviously very busy. Rafael remembered our anniversary and personally greeted us — he is very proud(as he should be) of his establishment. Definitely on our list the next time we are in Aspen

Found this gem on Unilocal! The location in the Unilocal App currently pinpoints to a mall caddy-corner to the real location. Look for the black and red signs on the corner of Hopkins. I came here for a dessert crêpe, and wow: the ambiance of the restaurant, the chef, and the food creation was a 10 out of 10! I ordered the Big Apple gluten-free crêpe, and it was cooked perfectly! The apples were warm and not too sweet(and not covered in a sugar glaze), the crêpe itself was like a buckwheat flax crêpe, and and there was the most amazing vanilla bean ice cream to top it all off! I opted not to have the walnut crumble(it’s not GF).

Absolutely delicious, wholesome French food! We loved every single item we had. I will say that the croque madame and monsieur are one of the best I’ve ever had — just perfect! Also, the spinach crêpe and the classic were outstanding. The escargot are different than what you’re probably used to in a pink, creamy sauce but still delicious. The only item that wasn’t as good as the others was the French connection, a beef stew crêpe. It made the crêpe underneath quite soggy and beef stew just isn’t really my jam but it was well seasoned. Overall, excellent!

We had the La Morroccon crêpe and the Spinatplatatscinke, which is the cheese spinach crêpe. The food was creative and well done. I really liked the cozy feel of the restaurant. It’s definitely a place to go for a nice evening out. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is because of the service. I asked if I could get any kind of sauce to go wit the food as I found it a bit dry and the waitress did not bother asking anyone and just said no. I am sure there are some sauces used in their food that could have made my dish a bit more delectable.

Why 5 stars? Because this was absolutely our favorite restaurant in Aspen. — — — We stumbled upon this spot for dessert and decided to share a schokoladepalatschinke crêpe. That is not a typo, but it was the absolute Best. Decision. Ever. Every single bite of this was perfection. I could not possibly ask for more of a mouthgasm with each chew. I hate that I just used the word«mouthgasm,» but there is no word that fits the description of what was going inside my lips while I was ingesting this paradise. The hot chocolate we ordered to accompany this was icing on the cake. I have almost never done this, but because we enjoyed it so much, we wanted to return a 2nd time during our short vacation in Aspen. On visit #2, we were once again taken to pleasure town via the french onion soup. And as much as I enjoyed the other crêpe, I wanted to try the nutella crêpe during this visit, and it was only a small notch below our first one. I’m purposely not spelling that word out again — even with copy/paste, it’s overwhelming! One funny note: on our first visit they played«Flashed Junk Mind» by Milky Chance on loop the entire time we were there. I cannot ever hear that song again without immediately thinking of our favorite little creperie in Aspen :)
