So overpriced for what you get. 36 bucks for a pizza all up with tip, tax and such. We went because it had good ratings on Unilocal.WTF is the hype about? This place is for people who have never had good pizza and they don’t know anything better.

Still looking. Pizza has gotten way saltier for some reason the last couple times. Also gave the brunch a shot once, oops.

Good space, staff, food and value. Antika Pizzeria is a solid place to grab a meal. We order the vodka sauce and bacon gradma pie and baby spinach salad. The regular pie was more than enough to feed two people and the individual size salad was perfect to share as starter for a couple. The pizza crust is on the thinner side, so subjectively, it gets a thumbs up from me. While tasty, vodka sauce+ bacon was too salty for us. Perhaps the salt in the sauce pushed it over the edge. We’ll be back to try the pasta dishes. 3.5 stars.

I ordered two chicken alfredos for the delivery they came out to $ 40, 37 without a tip. They were really delicious it came with garlic bread which woulda been better if the delivery didn’t take an hr and 20 minutes. I wouldn’t order from here again the food portions are not worth the price. We legit got about 5 strips of chicken and the rest was pasta. The size of the container they use is also very small. The lady on the phone failed to mention that the 2 chicken Alfredos are equal to their family size order which is 37 $. The food is great but not worth the price maybe if the portions were bigger.

Just ok. My bf says it’s «nothing to write home about. Price is just not worth it. Large pizza comes in at $ 19 before toppings and is quite small(14ish inches). Grandma pizza also starts at $ 19. Too salty and again not worth the price. I’m sticking with Mia Pizza next time. Much better value and the best gramdma pizza. Delivery was 39mins earlier than expected today though and last time came on time so props for that. Also came with paper plates.

Went there for brunch on a Sunday and we were promptly seated, then the waiting began… 10 mins…20 mins and finally our waiter decided to show up. He did thank us for waiting, which made me feel like I was on the subway where they thank you for your patience and you have this look of uuuummmm… I don’t remember offering my patience! The food was not bad, I had the farmer’s omelet and my friend had the Americano breakfast that he liked. I usually tip well but on this occasion I felt justified to be a B#@$h based on the bad service. Would I come back? Ummm… not sure, the pizza did look good so maybe. Would I recommend it for brunch? No! There are better places in Astoria.

As soon as you walk into this place it feels so lovely. The servers are super sweet, and very kind. The last time I went I sat by the bar and was kindly taken care of by Natalia. I came straight from class with my laptop and needed something to keep me up, and she quickly stirred up an awesome special iced coffee. The bread that they serve as well is beyond amazing too. Just an overall great spot. Can’t wait to go back to make another review on the food!

Delivery only review: Ordered a grandma style pizza with roasted peppers and it was excellent. More thin-style pizza than I expected but nonetheless fresh and very good ingredients. Only downside is the price which seemed high. But it did feed me and my girlfriend two separate meals. Would order again and would like to make an in-person visit.

I want to echo the comments made by another Unilocaler, Emil L. which basically says that service here sucks. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and I wanted Penne Vodka. I asked if they deliver girl who answered the phone also called for a delivery order and the girl who answered the phone was short and rude. I get that restaurants are busy but there is a common tone & protocol that is expected when you call to place an order. It sounded as if she could care less about her job and that she didn’t even want to be at work because she had better things to do. She asked me if I wanted to pay by cash or credit, then I told her my order then she asked me again if I wanted cash or credit. I wont be ordering from here again because it’s just not worth the hassle.

We went there on Saturday, I had steak and eggs and my wife got smoked salmon benedict, food was really good. they have unlimited mimosa for $ 9 between 12−2pm. The server and the hostess were nice.

Was there with my kids, lovely experience… waiter was very courteous and attentive. Food looked really great, my son got pizza, looked so freshly made. Girls got pasta wish I could have order it myself. I ordered the salad, dieting that week :(it was good but my god… I will go back to get my pasta. lol Place is cozy very clean. And one more thing, the bread in the basket looked so yummy and fresh, ofcourse I did not try… hope so next time.

It really pains me to give this place such a low rating but alas, here we are. I had been an avid fan of Antika since it opened a few years ago but over this past year I’ve seen this place go downhill. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. The pasta entrees are pretty steeply priced, and in an effort to cut costs the new management has axed the fresh grated Parmesan they used to offer with them. Seriously? I’m paying 16 – 22 dollars for a pasta entrée and I can’t even get a sprinkle of fresh Parmesan on top to compliment my meal? Ridiculous. In another attempt to cut costs, customers aren’t allowed to get butter with their bread anymore. We asked for some butter, which we had done time and time again before, and were told the new management won’t allow that anymore. As much as I enjoy the food at Antika, I’m going to look for another place to satisfy my pasta cravings.

Great typical American style Italian. The Penne alla Vodka was amazing. With Chicken! ;) Anywho the service is great! No rush. No fuss. Great ambiance. It’s not Babbo or Del Posto so if thats what your looking for go to the city.

I came here this past weekend for brunch prior to heading out shopping. I was pleasantly surprised of how nice the interior was. The bar was gorgeous(not your regular wooden bar, it was marble of some sort), and almost wish I sat there, nonetheless, I enjoyed myself. ALSO, can I just mention that they offer a bottomless option for NINE dollars(per person). $ 9!!! It is practically a steal compared to its counterparts in the area. I was not expecting much due to the lack of reviews for their brunch on Unilocal but I was pretty happy with my meal and bottomless mimosas. To eat I ordered the ‘apple pancake’ which was similar to fried dough(not as crunchy nor oily) but topped with caramelized apples. Just by looking at it, I was satiated! Cutting into this pancake and flying my fork to my mouth, the fluffy pancake and apple melted on my tongue and a burst of flavors emerged. My mouth screamed for more.(some imagery, huh?) It came with a side of syrup but its unnecessary because the pancake itself is already sweet. do you really want diabetus? There were also whole fruit on the side, which i enjoyed; I deemed myself pseudo healthy that morning. If you’re thinking of coming here for BRUNCH, definitely make a trip and indulge. It’s all worth it and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back! :)

Definitely one of the best pizzerias in Astoria. Fresh ingredients and delicious pizza. In my honest opinion, I believe the pies are a bit overpriced for what you get in that the pizza is very thin and not that filling(I can easily eat 4 – 5 slices). However, in an area lacking good pizza, let alone good Italian food, this place is a sure bet and never disappoints. One of the best in the area. I highly recommend!

The service here is atrocious. The poor staff struggle constantly with no manager presence. Two servers on New Year’s Day brunch?! The table next to us asked for a manager and were told, he comes in at three. The staff try, they aren’t lazy, the food is amazing. Sadly, Antika Is just poorly run and it is to the point where I’m not sure the aggravation is worth future visits.

On a visit to see family and we stopped in here on a lark. Great decision. I splurged, and do not regret it. Appetizer: caprese salad. YUM. Great flavor. I will say I’m not a fan of the red pepper added in, but it didn’t stop me. Salad: Beet salad: best part of the meal. Great flavor combination, generous portion. Really fine food. Pasta: penne a la vodka. Fantastic. Bacon in the sauce!!! So yummy, so decadent. Entrée: Chicken piccata: really good, but the side broccoli was perfectly cooked and outshone the meat, which by comparison to everything I’d eaten so far was yummy but overshadowed. This was a great place. I recommend it highly. Huge portions that were reasonably priced. Go and enjoy!

it’s Monday night. I ordered 2 pies over the phone, no seamless for me tonight — a grandma pie and a regular pie. and this was at 8:15 and a delivery for«Sean» arrived around 8:45. not our order so we called and they sent the delivery boy right back(within 10 min) to take it away and to its rightful owner. but they didn’t bring our order — he only took the incorrect order back with him, and instead told us it would be a 15 minute wait for our original order to come. I asked for them to throw in a lil somethin’ somethin’ for the hassle and long wait… at 9:45, my pizzas arrived. way longer than an extra 15 min wait as told. and you know what the lil somethin was? a can of soda. for 6 people. was garlic bread too much to ask?(oh I forgot… we actually ASKED for this on the original order and it never came) dearest antika: your customer service is one word: sad. giving attitude to a customer as if this mix-up was my fault, pathetic. thanks for the heartburn.

Cute place in Astoria with outdoor and indoor seating. The pizza here is good. I came here for Grandma style pizza, which is a thin crust pizza served on a rectangular pan. Its large enough for about 3 –4 people to share. We also had the calamari arriabiatta, which is spicy fried calamari served with a dipping sauce that resembled thousand island dressing. The calamari wasn’t spicy but it was delicious and crispy. They have a nice cocktail menu too. They have happy hour deals too but we got there too late for that. Make sure you save space for the nutella pizza. It was also thin crust, and you really can’t go wrong with nutella. Yum. Apparently they deliver too… skip domino’s and choose Antika pizza.
