We stopped in to warm up after tromping through the chilly streets of Astoria. We had a flight of five, including a strawberry blonde ale and a Belgian triple, and had a friendly chat with the jovial barkeep. A nice addition to the Astoria craft beer landscape.

Not a bad stop in Astoria. I liked the inside of the brewery, you sat and overlooked the actual brewery equipment which was pretty cool. I had the strawberry blonde ale which was pretty tasty. Overall, a good stop for a beer!

Our overnight trip to the coast kind of became a mini beer tour. We noticed this place while driving down to Gearhart and decided to pop in. The bartender let us sample the 4 Astoria Brewing beers they had on tap before deciding on a pint. They were all pretty good. My friend got the strawberry blonde and I got the pale ale. I liked the small, dive feel of the place and will definitely be back!

Good food — really tasty fish tacos! The beer is solid too! Got the 10 beer sample flight and most of them were pretty good. The service was plenty quick considering that they were pretty full when we were there. Overall, I’d be happy to pop in the next time we roll through Astoria again.

Friendly service, didn’t get food. Kinda dirty/sticky feeling location. Too many discounts/specials with too many strings, stipulations attached.

We stopped there today around lunchtime on the way to San Francisco. Place was packed. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Wait staff were friendly efficient. Talked with the brew master who explained how they’d installed new solar panels to heat the water they use, and they use their beers to make mustard sauce, sausages, and ice cream. Everything we had was excellent, including the beer. Glad we came.

We stopped by here for a drink before dinner on Thursday. According to past reviews they’ve been remodeling for quite awhile as the last review mentioned that and it was written December 2013! Our bartender was jovial and funny. He gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The second bartender came on shift and wasn’t attentive at all.

Slow service. Appear to be understaffed. Clearly high hopes with a pending remodel but evidence suggests lazy, disconnected management. Oh, beer tastes old and bitter– not in a good way.

This apparently is the new location for the Astoria Brewing Co. They’re in the midst of remodeling, but the place is open. We popped in to pick up Mega Millions tickets and get a stamp on our Oregon North Coast Craft Beer Trail cards. Sadly, the Mega Millions tickets netted only $ 1. The place didn’t seem very lively or inviting. I’m hopeful that will change with the remodel.
