Very friendly and helpful staff… a little on the shy side. They take book requests and have purchased all the books I’ve requested. What service! Especially for a public entity! Love coming here.

This library is staffed by some of the nicest folks around. I have only found one staff member to be less than sociable, but I think there may be some underlying issues(read personal /medical) that may be behind this. The building is quite old and falling apart, but the future may hold promise of a much needed expansion to a property next door. Always a colourful selection of patrons that add some quirky charm. The one homeless gentleman who is always found with his motorcycle helmet upon his head is actually very harmless and always makes me chuckle when the patient saint of a librarian has to wake him up when he is snoring loudly. There seems to be a cast of regulars that use the library to while away the time. They are quiet and well behaved. Plenty of open computers, a decent supply of media(magazines, DVDs, Newspapers), and a moderate collection including an old micro film section that actually sees quite a bit of use from researchers. I eagerly await the next phase for this much needed community fixture.
