3 stars for the people that it attracts. Maybe even a 2. But the décor, staff and bouncers were great. Improve on who you promote to and I could increase my rating! The location is odd but I guess convenient for subway riders. Under the N/R Train line. I didn’t wait on a line and was able to walk around to check out the place. Visually appealing. Smaller than I expected. Two different rooms and two bars. Nice sitting area but I believe its for bottle service. Enough room to stand and walk around. DJ had good dance music but it didn’t really flow well onto the next mix. Lots of house although I was told there would be a wider mix. People were random. Always prettier girls than guys at most clubs and this is exactly what you saw here. Some dressed up others were very casual and at times sloppy. The guys went from being gentlemen to complete idiots! Asking me if I was Colombia I must know what«perico» meant. When I said I didn’t use the slang term, they called me «narrow minded». For does that don’t know the street name… it means cocaine. I know it as a breakfast omelet(Perico’ is scrambled eggs with onions, tomatoes, and peppers). Big difference and nothing close to being narrow minded. I just believe I’m above that crap! Mind you the guy asking was this smelly sweaty guy that spoke as if he graduated from jail… not Yale University! :O) I would try this place again on a different night. But overall would hope there would be better class of people. Bouncers were nice and so was the bartender. Just maybe try to be a little more selective on the crowd? Just a thought.

Went here this past Friday to celebrate my friend’s birthday. I had read the reviews on Unilocal already ahead of time so I kind of had an idea of what to expect. Once we got there the bouncers were really nice and gave us no problem getting in. We got there and the place is just as pictured on the website beautiful. We all proceeded to the bar and got a drink. We sat down but later found out we couldn’t sit there because in order to sit down you need to have a bottle. Since it was a group of us and there was really no where for all of us to stand, we decided to just buy a bottle of champagne. The bottle service was about 200 dollars for a bottle of champagne and the drinks were 12 dollars each. The music was mostly techno music and the crowd in there reminded me a little like the Jersey shore. There was a point in the night that they finally played music with words in it and we were so excited about that and took advantage and danced. Overall the place was OK. Will I ever go back, well I would only get back if I was invited for a birthday or something along those lines but it’s not really my type of crowd. I had fun because it was a large group of us.

I’m loving this spot because the couple of times I’ve been here there is no cover charge and everyone is dressed to impress. note: This was when they first opened and I haven’t been back yet…(I was surprised when I read the negative reviews on here) The décor in this place is amazing BUT this is not the place to bust a move… lol If you take a look at the pictures all the seating arrangements do not leave much room for a dance floor. To me it’s more for table/bottle service with your group of friends and lounge out to some good music. Drinks are super expensive more than any other spot in Astoria from my experience. Bouncers are respectful and pleasant. Have Fun! =0)

Went this spot last Friday night for a friend’s birthday. If you come here better make sure you bring some cash because its expensive. 2 Bottles of Goose + Champagne was around like $ 700(some clubs int he city dont even cost that much)…and the drinks at the bar are expensive as well. So my suggestion show your wallet some mercy and go order a Long Island at the bar(best bang for your buck). I also have to say, for a Friday night there weren’t many ladies there. The amount of dudes(mainly big meat heads) up in there was definitely more than twice the amount of the ladies in there. I mean for everyone to have fun you gotta balance that ratio a bit. But it wasn’t all bad, here’s a few of things that I did like: 1) Interior — very big, lots of space to do whatever even with all the tables around. Also very well decorated, i like the way the venue looks. 2) Staff — The bouncers and management and everybody has go to be the nicest people I have ever met in their profession. Usually they’re all a-holes that love power trippin, but aparently not these guys. All very nice. My friend even lost a phone here and they found it and gave it back to him. 3) Music — Now I’m not a big House fan but I don’t mind electro music at all(just not House). To my surprise(and maybe its just that night’s DJ) they played a lot of trance when I first got there and some other kinds of techno and electro music. It was very chill, I definitely enjoyed the music. would I come back again? yea probably, won’t be on the top of my list though

Definitely a fresh addition to the Queens nightlife. Although I can only speak for Friday nights, the décor, sound & lights all add up to a pretty good experience. Crowd often depends on the music as with is with every venue but in the company of friends it’s always enjoyable.

This place is Beautiful! I was actually surprise that I was in Queens. I loved this place, the music was just right, and for a Wednesday night, hey, I had a good time. DJ Camilo in the house with HitList Ent. Good job guys. Camilo will always make the night a good night for me.

Can you spell R.O.I.D.S. If so, then you don’t belong here(you know… bc you can actually spell). Tool bag heaven. If you’re into the Pauly D and Snookie nasty ass types, well, then you’re in heaven. If not… take your 8 $ and spend it on something else besides a freakin club soda. Yes 8 $ on a club soda! In law school we have a name for this. It’s called«unconscionable.» Don’t get me wrong… I have no problem dropping 18 bucks on a good drink(aka: one that has top shelf liquor in it). But 8 bucks on plain club soda just leaves me feeling used and abused. In a cheap and insulting manner. Ladies, stay away. Unless you want a guy whose arm is the size of your waist. Ew. Gross.

I heart Cienna! I really think Cienna has very good potential to grow even further from when they first opened in October! I love going there on Friday nights for their house nights & Saturday for their European nights! I LOVE the décor. it makes you feel like you’re in Manhattan! The drink prices are fine. I usually pay $ 10 for my goose/club soda! The bartenders, bouncers, and owners are also very nice! :) I just went to their«Heaven on Earth» European Brunch Party this afternoon and had the most AMAZING time! It was hosted by Franco Porporino Jr. and Claudius Raphael spinned. the music was hot. the people were hot. and the bottles were overflowing! MTV was also there to cover the event!

My first thought is to say F*** this place! I went here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Other than the fact that the music sucked(but then again, I don’t like house or techno), they lost my credit card and ID, Made me wait for over a half hour at one bar, and then when I kept asking them for my card(nicely!), the bartender told me «how am I supposed to know whom you opened up a tab with?!? Go to the other bar!». So after I finally get my card, I got no apology, nothing. I should have never even signed my tab; should have just taken my card and disputed all the charges later. You couldn’t drag me back to this hellhole with a gun in my face. Never ever ever ever again. The ONLY plus to this place is that the bouncers are nice.

Cienna is a new club/lounge in Astoria and is actually very visually appealing. Clean restrooms, nice layout, and beautiful décor. The drinks are ridiculously priced. 2 drinks(a beer and screwdriver) was $ 19 bucks w/out tip. They were served in tiny plastic cups!!! The bouncers were surprisingly very nice and not pricks.

This place, like most Astoria ‘Euro’ spots, blows. The music is painful, the clientele is pathetic and the prices are ridiculous. I actually like the layout of this place though, plenty of room to hang out, sit down, get your dance on if that’s what your into. But between the above mentioned reasons, this place will never see me again.
