So they agreed to redo my gel manicure, of course after trying to charge me $ 10 which I obviously refused because I had already paid $ 20 plus a $ 4 tip just 3days prior. It was done Friday, started chipping Tuesday. Ugh. They must be putting acetone or remover in the polish because that’s the only way it could chip in 4days vs 2−3weeks. Whatever. Don’t do gel here.

I have been a regular here for years. I have always taken care of the girls who have done my nails and I recently had a few bad encounters. I let it go because we all know things happen but my last straw was when they cut my cuticles even after I told them they were hurting me, applied the nail polish horribly to the point that one of my friends said she thought I was getting my nails done when I got home because it looked like I didn’t even go to the saloon… I won’t be back again. I am truly disappointed that as a regular I was treated that way. I took my business somewhere else.

This is my favorite nail salon in Astoria! The staff is always very nice and attentive, it’s never over crowded or too long of a wait! Good quality for a low price, what more could you want!
