I came here on Wednesday night and it was pretty quiet. The staff is very nice and attentive. I went with a friend and it was $ 25 for us to share a hookah. They also serve appetizers and desserts. We got the lava cake and it came out warm and it went really well with the hookah. I recommend the white gummy bear hookah and the skittles. Very fruity but overall good.

Awesome hookah, great service and a very relax, chill environment. I enjoy the really good food. The servers are very respectful and quick to cater to your needs. Music ranges to traditional middle eastern to today’s music culture. The quality of the shisha is also top notch.

The best hookah spot in Astoria. Been coming here for years now and their hookah only got better and better. Love then lemon bomb and panmasala flavour, their prices are very good, and to top it off amazing food. Do try their stake and lamb chops. Good customer service and frequent refill on charcoals. Try it, at least one time… worth it.

They are open literally late into the night and have some good Egyptian Adana and chicken kebab platter. Always long wait but very good.

Not pleased with the poor service and disrespectful crowd. Food was bland. We asked for a to-go box for the hummus & naan appetizer(that came after our food and hookah!) — they declined to make it to go. Regardless of what type of restaurant you are — you MUST be able to pack food to go. Not everyone likes to waste food. BTW they are a cash-only place. We had to go out to get cash. Not worth the hassle. Better to go to a place with a more decent crowd and food.

I went here with a friend of mine about a few months ago and I really enjoyed the hookah and the food was good. This place is lively. I would recommend friends this spot because the hookah is good and so is the atmosphere.

My friends and I have been coming here for since college and we LOVE it. It’s a great spot for hookah. They have a pretty good selection of hookah. Food is delicious!!! The service good. They don’t have alcohol which is great because they’re no growing up or drunk non sense. There’s a bunch of TV screens so it’s great when the game is on. Be sure to bring cash!!!

We wanted to try their best hookah and most popular dish … We were told the best would be one of the most expensive hookah which comes out to about 35 dollars«Exclusive Guava Goodness with Fresh Pineapple Head with Deezer ICE pipe«it was Good but Not Great … The Food we tried Firdos Double Cheese Burger which was Alright !!! The other dish Joojeh Kabab Platter with Chicken and Basmati Rice was Pretty Good :)

They have excellent food and Hookah, the time you go is very important because they get very busy and it’s hard to get a table because you’ll have to wait for another table to open. The most popular hookah would be their Mango Sands, Persian Sands, Pan Masala, and their house blend flavors. Their food is all popular so you can eat everything.

The food is here is to die for BUT that being said, the service is absolutely TERRIBLE. So if you don’t mind feeling like you’re an inconvenience to the staff by asking them for simple things like extra sauce or the check for the meal that you’re PAYING for, then definitely come here. As for take out, you should expect to go home only to find containers have filled… I mean theres nothing I like more than paying full price for half the meal. You’re basically paying to serve yourself as you have to pry the staff away from their friends and their own hookahs to do their jobs. You kind of just walk in and stand aimlessly until someone comes up to you, if they come up to you that is(as they’re most likely sitting in the booth watching the game with their friends). The owner is however very friendly and always accommodating, wish he could teach his a staff a thing or two about hospitality.

This is the spot for hookah. I come here every time I’m in NYC. They have a variety of flavors which are all good. No mater whether you get the regular or the exclusive blends. Food is available. Which is not bad given the atmosphere. They do tend to get busy in the evenings. And don’t allow any outside for or drinks. So leave your dunkins at home. Overall service is good. And they do change the coals often. But this is a CASHONLY place.

One of the best hookah lounge around. I’ve not experienced their quality of hookah anywhere else on Steinway. They use high rated starbuzz flavors and exotic mixes. Prices range anywhere from $ 12 to $ 25 for hookahs. They’ve an array of delicious Desi and American food that’s priced fairly. Lots of hot and cold drinks also available. Highly recommend Persian Sands(or remix) and Leamon Bomb with blackberry.

I’ve lived a block away for two years but last night was my first time at Firdos somehow… And it was great. The food is delicious(I had a falafel wrap) and the tea selection is great — I had the milk chai which was also delicious. Hookah is smooth and coals are changed often, flavor is fantastic. Service is excellent — especially in comparison to a lot of the other hookah spots in the neighborhood. The waiters here are really friendly and attentive. Prices are good– inexpensive for sure. Small space but comfortable, relaxed atmosphere which is all I really want when I go to smoke hookah anyway. I’ll def be back!

I want to say that this is probably the first hookah lounge that I’ve ever went to. I recall showing up and it was a complete sausage festival. We didn’t mind all that much because we weren’t exactly«hunting» that evening. We ordered a few hookahs and snacked on their fries. The music was good but no one was really dancing. Pricing was reasonable and the product that they offer was quite good. Biru

This place is okay. I mean their hookah is okay not all that great. I do have to say this place has horrible service the waiters look like they hate their life and serve you with an attitude. They are just so unfriendly. The chai I ordered was not like chai it was like water and milk. Had a falafel sandwich which was not bad but it was like those frozen foods. The space is very tight. Overall I don’t think I would come back. Boo. I give two stars for effort lol.

This place easily gets 4 stars. One of the oldest, best hookah spots on the street. I’ve been going here for over 7 years now. The hookah flavors are amazing, and their recent additions only made it better. The décor is average, and the food is decent. Anytime I’m in the neighborhood, I choose to come here over most of the other spots because the service is good and the owner is friendly. The ambience can range from quiet to loud, but the music is always good. For a Hookah Lounge, you cant beat this as one of the better spots on Steinway.
