We were visiting the Maritime museum and happened to noticed this food truck across the street. Very happy that we walked over and had lunch there. I have eaten plenty of baba ganoush in my life, most of it good, but this place takes that dish to an entirely different level. So the BG was the best I have had in US. Absolutely the best. Hummus and Falafel were amazing also. You can clearly see that they are not selling ordinary run-of-the-mill Mediterranean fare that you can find in most other similar food trucks. Truly deserves 5 stars.

While the family was waiting in line at the Bow picker fish and chips. I walked across the street and found this place in the gas station parking lot. Enticed by the smell I walked near by, then they offered me a sample and started to describe the food. Awesome food, great people, I will be back. If the line is long at the bowpicker and your impatient and you want something different and amazing I would highly recommend this. Great people that are passionate about what they do.

Good middle eastern fare. Generous portions and you won’t leave hungry or have that dirty feeling after burgers and fries.

Tasty and authentic. They take so much pride in their food and it’s obvious. I’ve had the lamb wrap and the falafel wrap, both perfect.

Best falafel I have tasted so far in Oregon. It just melts in your mouth. The entire people where very sweet and warm. You might lose this place if you use GPS. It is right next to the Texaco gas station. Don’t miss checking this place out. It’s awesome :-)

Just outstanding. This cart is across the street from Bow Picker, an iconic fish and chips cart in Astoria. Save yourself the hour wait and get fresh salads and delicious falafel right here.

Absolutely delicious food. Got a bunch for a party when I didn’t have time to cook and everyone enjoyed it enormously. Don’t miss Omri’s food cart in Astoria, weekdays at 13th and Duane, Sundays at the Astoria Sunday Market. Fresh, quality, flavorful. Go!

This is how a falafel is meant to be. Just finished a falafel wrap at the Sunday market: hot falafel balls, fresh, cool cucumber, tahini, parsley, all wrapped in a chewy-licious flat bread. Great flavor, great texture.

Unbelievably delicious. Some of the best food I have ever eaten, EVER. No joke. I had the lamb plate with three salads — between myself and my significant other we had all the salads. They were all so incredibly good I could hardly believe it. He had the Falafel and shared two with me — they were the best falafel I have ever tasted. Seriously, this food cart is AWESOME!!!

If you want a real taste of Mediterranean food, here it is right on the street. I have spent some time in Israel and did a six week solo bicycle tour here in 2000, I lived off the falafel stands all over the country. This meets and beats with everything homemade with just a touch of the right spices. For the vegetarian or the meat eater there is plenty for both. Stop by and meet two wonderful folks and enjoy the great food.

Food cart owned and operated by an Israeli chef. His falafel is the best I’ve had. I ordered a bunch of side dishes including hummus, babaganoush, and Israeli cous cous and ended up ordering a second serving of everything to take back with me to Portland. They make everything from scratch and their pita bread is grilled and off the charts tasty. Go here!
