These guys are knowledgeable and thorough. They pointed out possible issues with an item I was about to dry clean BEFORE potentially taking it and ruining it… I sent it with them anyway and it came back unharmed (and clean)! They also made my boyfriend comfortable when having his suit pants tailored (not something he was thrilled to be having done.) Also, they have always been courteous and friendly at the drive up window, even when it was bitterly cold out there.
Obviously, since they don’t do the actual cleaning onsite, the place doesn’t have that nasty chemical smell, but I do wish they did eco-​friendly/​organic dry cleaning, like my place in Atlanta used to…

I have been using Athens West Cleaners for about 2 years and it seems like they are very expensive for what you get. I went to pick up 2 cashmere sweaters today and it was $ 11.50 and they do not even put tissue in the sweeters before folding them. They just drapped the sweaters over a hanger.
On the West Coast, the cleaners would fold the sweaters over tissue and whenever you took a suit to get cleaned’ they would cover the buttons with foil to keep from cracking and stuff the arms with tissue before hanging on a hanger.
