Athens is lucky to have such a great shop. I love their aesthetic and the staff are always so friendly and love talking about their craft. Excellent chocolate, macaroons, and other sweet bites! You can really tell how well thought out this little chocolatier is. I don’t think you can find better chocolates in Atlanta. Wonderful place.

A local gem, this is a beautiful stop for a quick bite of chocolate goodness and gorgeous cup of coffee. We got 2 cortados(mini cappuccinos with ½ the milk). They came with lovely bites of biscotti with candied lemon and cacao nibs. I was eying the truffles as the flavors looked amazing! Next time.

Ordered a brownie and a mocha… both were delicious and extremely rich. Fun little place to sit by the window and people watch, too. I really like the décor and ambiance. As other comments have said, it’s expensive, so you probably wouldn’t want to come here every day, but it’s a nice treat.

First off… It’s pretty expensive. If you’re looking for something cheaper just cross on over Lumpkin and go to Earthfare. But if you are looking to find the PERFECTEDARTOFCHOCOLATE, it’s Condor all the way. Try the sipping chocolate!!! A+++++

I got a brownie there. Looks great but taste nothing special. Over salty, taste burned and no strong chocolate taste. Full of air not dense as a brownie is supposed to be. Overall over price small piece of cake. Very very disappointing.

Condor chocolates is a great new addition to Athens. I really enjoy these boutique food locales. With that said, Condor Chocolates has room for improvement. I got a hot chocolate that was not hot and when I had them make another one it was still lukewarm. Also, it was only mildly chocolately; I was expecting something between a hot chocolate and the sipping chocolate. I’ve had better at jittery joes. We enjoyed one of the fizzy sodas and a molten lava cake that was quite good. Another review is correct about the service: reserved friendly. I wish they were a little more enthusiastic. The staff is young and has an aloof hipster vibe. Overall it’s worth trying out and is a welcomed addition to 5 points.

I stopped by here a few days ago to pick up an assortment of chocolates to give as gifts as well as a few for moi. Hey, it was a ‘I need chocolate!’ kind of day and since I’d recently eaten the last of the stash I’d brought back from Europe, I thought this place would hit the spot. Alas, it was just a-ok. I got 4 different flavors and I honestly could not tell which was which. Mint should taste different than lavender but in both pieces it was just missing. Maybe it was an off day? When I asked my friends about their selection I received the answer ‘oh, were there *flavors* in there?’ Hmmmm. That was over $ 30 on 2 boxes of chocolate and I wish it wasn’t a bit of a let down even though they enjoyed their gifts. The chocolate itself is mostly smooth but with a touch of that much needed graininess and has a wonderful flavor all it’s own. I know they work hard to bring great products to Athens but next time I’ll just stick with their unflavored products. Maybe I’ll try some of their gelato? Service is a reserved friendly. Place is very clean and has an open kitchen to watch the folks work. Packaging is impeccable.

What a wonderful addition to Athens! Great ambience, great service and how cool they make it on premises. I had never had chocolates fresh from bean to counter but they do it all right there. Best sipping chocolate I have had outside Europe! You won’t be dissappointed.

It’s all about the chocolate, and I have to say that the 5 stars is based on chocolate quality alone. It is excellent. And I _really_like chocolate, so I’ve eaten a lot of different types. I didn’t try the brownie, though it looks impressive, but I did have a $ 2 truffle. Which was TOTALLY worth $ 2. It was really amazing.(And, really, how many truffles should you eat in one go? This is not the place to go if you’re hungry. Go get a meal! Then come here for dessert afterwards.) The cappuccino was better than average, but I don’t know that I’d come here just to drink it. On the other hand, I’m definitely coming back to try the other truffle flavors. And maybe the baked good. Also, excellent choice for valentine’s day chocolate, I’d think. Well done!

I was overcome with a craving for chocolate today. Fortunately, I had heard Condor Chocolates had opened in Five Points. Currently they have maybe 6 types of a truffles available, a full espresso bar, hot chocolate, and sipping chocolate. If you’re not in the mood for chocolate or coffee, they also have a variety of delicious spindrift sodas. They had two specials available, as well: chocolate mousse with olive oil, hazelnuts, & dried cherries and a caramel sea salt brownie. We started off with the Mayan and Dark chocolate truffles. They were both scrumptious, but I especially liked the Mayan. It had a bit of a spice to it. We also had the brownie, which they warmed up for us. The outside was a bit crispy and the rest of it was perfectly salty, sweet, and chocolatey. But what really got me hooked was the sipping chocolate. I had a sip and I was taken into another realm where everything was made of chocolate and I’m eternally happy — I think that’s what heaven must be like. I felt happy and sad at the same time — how could i have been missing out on this my whole life? I’m hooked. I will be back regularly for my sipping chocolate fix. Thank you, Condor Chocolates.

Upscale chocolate place. Like, really, really, upscale, don’t go on a student budget upscale. $ 2 for a small truffle upscale. They’re actually quite tasty – quality is not an issue. But then so too is the flourless chocolate cake across the street at Earthfare, which is 1.75 times the price and about 8 times the volume. That being said, I will likely go back and check out the hot chocolate.
