Cozy Yum Yum

I ordered Rama tofu curry and it was completely flavorless. the white rice was way over cooked and it was basically mush. there were 4 pieces of broccoli!!! I also ordered the spring rolls and they were burnt and just had rice noodles inside, absolutely no veggies! over all just a really big disappointment.

The owners are constantly showing kindness and their love for their food. You can see the passion in what they do and how they invest in their customers. I have been coming here (and to cozy bar by the same owners) for the past 4 years. Never disappointed, always welcomed like a regular

I love this place, owner and all, and I go here as often as possible! If you are not rude or impatient with the staff they are more than welcoming! In the past I’ve ordered the teriyaki chicken, a few of the curries, the fried rice, and a lot more and it was all absolutely fantastic. I also ordered the thai tea bubble tea and it was amazing. I agree that the taro «powder» can be a little overwhelming but that didn’t diminish my experience at all. I would recommend this place to anyone as a great place to either hang out at or to just grab food from. Keep doing what you’re doing, Cozy Yum Yum.

The last time I ate here, I asked for a dish spicy instead of medium. They dumped a whole bunch of chilis into the middle of the plate, so that the outer area was bland and the inner area tasted only of the spice, and of that spice to an overwhelming degree such that it tasted like nothing more than chilis. Simply put, it suggested incompetence. That was, I believe, the last time I’ll go there.

My experience at this place was preeeetty nice! This lady achieved the dayum near impossible. She pleased 6 out of 7 older black women! This is an AMAZING FEAT! NOT for the faint at heart. These ladies were a doozy!
The food was Fresh and tasty! Came out Super fast! The lady was really nice. She explained that she didn’t know much English. So sometimes when ppl talk to her. She doesn’t really know what they are saying. And admitted that she looks crazy sometimes. I really appreciated her honesty. If I came back to Athens. I would totally come back.

The food is actually good. But to be frank, the lady that runs the joint is a total bitch. Go to Thai Spoon, Athens Wok or Siri and spare yourself her attitude. She was so rude she doesn’t even deserve the one star. It’s a shame.

Not cozy. Not yum yum.
Spoiled pineapple, and heavily salted good paired excellently with rude conversations by noise verbally abusive customers. Staff let them act like little immature teens with foul mouths.
Reason to return? None! Not even for a refund.

Where’s the love for this place? Not everything on the menu is great. But the curry dishes are the best in Athens hands down.

Our dishes were delicious. My mom ordered Manama with chicken and rice and I had Rama with vegetables and noodles. They were both perfectly sweet and spicy. Plenty of food to satisfy us, but not too much to take home. The soup that came with our lunch was not very good. The service was quick and the waitress kept our water filled. We weren’t amazed but enjoyed our entrees and would go back.

Went on a Tuesday bc Siri was closed. Enjoyed everything. Apps, meal, and desert! Will be back

The food was pretty decent going down. But it made me extremely sick. It was somewhat bland. Definitely will not eat again. Odds are you will be spending the night in the bathroom

We ordered drunken noodles and pad thai to go, and it was pretty terrible. I think I would not have been so upset if not for the fact that the drunken noodle dish was literally ramen noodles (think the ones that come in the $ 0.20 maruchan packages) doused in mediocre spicy sauce that reminded me of when panda express used to have msg in their sauces.
My S. O’s pad thai was worse than my dish. The noodles tasted like they were re-​microwaved, and had a distinct texture that we both did not care for. Also, there were like 6 – 7 bean sprouts at most dispersed throughout the dish, and the flavors were pretty bland.
Oh, almost forgot… we also ordered taro bubble tea. Now bubble tea, I always thought was pretty hard to mess up. Somehow, it managed to taste like there was not enough taro flavor in there and that they used too much powder simultaneously. Me and the SO were confused.
The food deserves 1 star, but the service, which was good, deserves a 4. We will not be going here again.

We like Cozy Yum Yum, especially the curry dishes. I remember ordering the pad Thai once and being disappointed, so I don’t disagree entirely with the previous poster. But I think the curry dishes are fantastic. Good for vegan/​veg too.

This isn’t just the worst Thai food in Athens, it’s the worst I’ve ever eaten. The flavors are very bland and not at all authentic. I ordered a Pad Thai and a Tom Yum Soup. The Pad Thai hardly tastes like any I’ve ever eaten. The noodles are undercooked and the flavors are bland. It’s like they just tossed a bunch of random ingredients that are supposed to be in Thai food, together. The Tom Yum soup can barely even be called that. It has none of the flavors of Tom Yum. Save your money. Don’t come here.

A complete rip-​off. Impossible to speak with the owners. Just walk down the street to Thai Spoon on Lumpkin or Siri Thai on Prince and you will leave with a fine meal.
