The customer service at the eye clinic here is ridiculous. These people couldn’t care less about me or my eyes. I needed glasses for TWO DAYS, due to an eye infection I couldn’t wear my contacts but I had to prepare thanksgiving. I begged them to fill my prescription from my last contacts prescription, but they refused. I tried explaining that I only needed whatever the cheapest frames were with something close to my prescription– I will absolutely only be using these as back up glasses, as I wear my contacts full time. I explained that my eyes are INFECTED and therefore the prescription they come up with at an exam wouldn’t be accurate in the first place. They resolutely would not give me a glasses prescription. I explained that I’m sick and may be contagious to them by coming to the office– they adamantly refused to give me a prescription. Now I’m sitting here for an eye exam I don’t need or want, I’m uninsured so I’m going to pay an extra $ 100 or so, and my appointment was half an hour ago and I’ve barely been acknowledged. This is completely ridiculous and a blatant disregard for me as a patient. I will never be back.
